"My father. My mother had been married once before and had me. My father died in the demon war along with all other demons. My mother remarried when i wasn't even a year old. My current father only puts up with me because of how much he loves my mother."

"Oh...." she muttered and looked down to her hands. "Both of my parents died a long time ago." she said with a slight crooked smile. "They didn't really care for me anyway." she muttered. " They were abusive."

He looked at her in shock. "But you are so...wonderful." He told her, meaning it very much. "You are the kindest person I have ever met, plus...You, being human...I never thought that possible, and I'm truly glad that you have proved me wrong." His eyes alone, not just his voice, showed how sincere he was in all that he said.

She looked away from him and shook her head. "I'm not wonderful... I still have to live with the pain of knowing their still alive.. And the, looking.. For me.. I ran away, I hated them so much." She said as a tear streamed down her face. "My childhood was horrible..." she said and scooted down in the seat. She let out a sigh, she was wanting to talk about it, but she couldn't. "That's the reason why I didn't go to my sisters funeral." she muttered.

He looked at her in both shock and concern. He wrapped his arms around her and held her close. "It's alright. If you don't want to talk and didn't go to your sister's funeral, that's fine. If you want I can take you to visit her grave, and we can have our own version of one. Ive never been to a funeral, but i can say something or other." He looked away embarrassed by what he was saying. He never showed concern to anyone but his mother, and now he cared for this girl.

(woot, just got back from vacation and got ideas too. sorry it took so long to think of something. *feels absolutely horrible*)
He looked at her once again. "May I ask you something else then?" He had no idea why the thoughts he had were going through his head, but they were. He also knew that he had to get back home before they sent more guards to look for him, get her caught in the middle of a war, and possibly killed. He did feel that he had at least enough time to do one more thing with her. He also hoped that things at home, including the war, would blow over soon or at least he could sneak away now and then to be with her. The one person who did not fear or shun him.

~ Thank you so much ^^ She looked up at him and nodded, although the trail of tears glistened in the light of the lamp. "Yeah." she said through a shattered, broken, and torn tone. The air shifted to a crisp as she began to breath a little slower. She began to relax as she realized her tenseness from the the thoughts. They were all slowly fading from his arms being wrapped around her. She began to feel comfort, but still sadness. "Anything...." she said, still broken in the tone of her voice.
~ I screwed up earlier xD She said her parrents were dead, then she said they were alive and looking for her.... GAHH X-X XDD

"I have to deal with the war...and my family. I've been away far too long, and they are starting to wonder what I'm up to. I'm the black sheep of the family after all, so they are more nosy with me than with anyone else...plus I don't want to get you pulled into the war as well..." He looked away, blushing slightly. "One: They might kill you, since they would think you were making me soft. Two: I...might lose myself and hurt or kill you, while thinking you were...the enemy." He continued to stare at the floor. "Do you remember that dark creature you saw earlier?..." He couldn't believe that he would be admitting a part of what he was to her...but to him, it also felt right...That if he didn't, he would later regret it to the fullest.
