He looked over at her, sensing her unease. "Are you alright?" Worry clearly showing in his eyes. He still could not believe he was even caring about her. This was just more proof his family could use to mark him as the black sheep of the family...A disgrace.

She nodded "Yeah, I'm fine." she said with a small grin. "How about that walk?" she asked changing the subject. She stood up and let out a small yawn, she wasn't wide awake yet, but she was awake...

She smiled and walked to the kitchen door and grabbed the leashes. She walked back to him and handed him Sage's leash with a small grin.

He smiled as he took it, and then proceeded to put it on sage's collar. "Shall we go?" He asked sage, who gave a small bark and a tail wag in agreement.

She smiled and hooked the leash to Chances collar and slightly tugged the leash. She walked to the door and Chance followed by her side. "It's warm out.. I can tell.. So, I doubt we'll need our coats." she chuckled and opened the door, allowing him and Sage to walk out first.

He thanked her as he passed. He loved the night air. It was definitely warm, just like Spirit said it would be. "There will be rain late tonight...just as a heads up." He said with a smile as he walked down the steps. Sage walking next to him, standing tall and regal. Her head raised high.

He followed, still not knowing why he even trusted her. Was it because she didn't really believe in vampires and other creatures of darkness? Was it because of her open personality that seemed to say, 'I don't care what you are, you are still my friend.'? Or was it something more? Something he had yet to discover.

(thanks for what? *confused*) He tried to keep a straight face, but failed miserably as he burst out laughing. He did not remember a time that he had ever truly laughed before. This young woman was definitely special.
