Myst turned to Smaofir, "hey Beaky, remember when you were just a hatchling?"
Smafir growled at her.
Myst smiled, "you couldn't keep your bulbous head up, your neck was too thin. You spent the first month hunched over with your head on the ground," Myst chuckled at the memory, "and when you had your first moult, you thought you were dying!"
Smaofir growled again.
"And I told you 'Beaky, you're much more than feathers, you got skin, blood, bone and iternal organs,' but you insisted that you were dying and wouldn't listen," Myst laughed, "so I boxed your earslits and strung you up by your ankles."
"Shut up!" Smaofir hissed.
