Callie literally squeaked when she was thrown to the bed by Bear. That growl turned her blood to ice, and she was literally scared. What had she done? Invited a stranger she didn't even know into her house, her room, her bed? He could have been a murderer, for all she knew!
Well, all thoughts had been erased from her mind as soon as the Ebilia boy started kissing up her neck. That... wasn't fair. Her neck was her favorite spot to be kissed. Hell, at that moment, he could have been a murderer and the girl wouldn't have cared. That was the spot...
Callie closed her eyes as Bear made his way up her jawline. Her breath hitched as he pressed his lips against hers, finally giving her the kiss she had wanted in the cave. Though, for her tastes, it ended too soon. The girl finally started breathing again as the boy made his way back down her neck. Well, if he was trying to get her mind off of her dad, it had certainly worked.
"Bear..." Callie finally said, opening her eyes to look at the boy. "I... I think you should stop now."

Bear frowned but complied, rolling away from Callie and sitting up. He'd removed his jacket while the girl'd been upstairs, freeing his wings. Now he ran his hand through his hair and glanced sideways at her.
"Why?" He asked, picking the magazine back up and half-heartedly reading something about an all boy pop band from England. What was the world coming to? He scowled and flipped the page.
He really didn't understand why she'd told him to stop. She'd enjoyed it, that much he could tell. He also now knew that she loved being kissed on the neck and he stored that bit of information for later.

Callie sighed and pushed her blonde hair out of her face. Why? That... That was a good question, certainly. She didn't really have any good reasons for why she wanted him to stop. Perhaps it was because her parents were upstairs. Maybe it was because, like he had said the last time they kissed, they just met eachother.
Callie scooted closer to Bear, watching in pure fascination as he freed his wings. She reached out, as if she were going to touch one, then pulled back. He might not enjoy her touching his wings. She didn't know.
"Bear, I didn't want you to stop..." She said, resting her head against his shoulder. "I just don't want you to regret kissing me later. I don't want you to regret anything when you're with me." |

Bear looked back at her. She confused the heck out of him, but he loved it.
"I'd never regret kissing you. I never have and never will regret anything about you. As long as you are happy, I'm happy." He said, extending a wing towards her. "Go ahead. They feel like the wing of a bat, anyways."
He turned and gazed at the ceiling, suddenly remembered the whole reason they were there. "Hey. I guess there won't be any hot chocolate now, huh? I've never had hot chocolate..." He wondered about the taste. He'd always guessed it tasted just like chocolate, but what with all the other new inventions, it could taste like oranges for all he knew.

Callie certainly did blush at his words. Again, he said that if she was happy, then so would he be. Again, those words made her face bright red. Why did he have that effect on her? She never blushed! Damn Ebilia boy...
Callie leaned over and gently stroked the boy's wings. She had never felt a bat's wings before, so the leathery feel of the wings surprised her. It was quite an interesting feel.
Callie sighed, removing her hands from the boy's wings. She turned herr body so she faced him. "You ask and you shall receive." She said with a grin. The girl leaned over and kissed Bear gently on the cheek. She leaned down and grasped his hand in hers.

Bear grinned and flicked an ear. "Ask and I shall receive, huh? Then...can I have you?" He snaked his tail around her waist and pulled her to him, running the claw of his wing lightly over the skin of her neck where he'd kissed her only moments before. Although, he abandoned all of this when the thought of hot chocolate returned, as if the warm milky stuff was way better than his first girlfriend.
"I'd love to help. But...do we need to go upstairs?" His smile faded at the thought of confronting her father.

Callie blushed brightly at his comment. Well, he did ask... But, no! No matter how much she wanted to, which was a lot, she wouldn't do that. .... He needed a bath first. And, well, so did she. She smelled like rainwater and cave dirt.
Callie shivered as Bear's wing passed by her neck. Why did he have to torture her with those light touches? I mean, if that was torture, then torture her all night, but man. Don't leave her hanging for hot chocolate.
The bunny girl's smile fell as Bear's did. She wasn't a mind reader, but she KNEW that look. Callie lifted their entwined fingers and kissed the back of Bear's hand.
"Nope. We just have to go into the kitchen, which is to your right." |

Bear tilted his head to the side and looked at her quizzically.
"A...bath? Isn't that where you soak in a tub full of your own filth? Bleh. I don't need that. Why would anyone need that?" He asked, following her to the kitchen.
Man. Human houses are so incredibly weird. Who'd have thought they would put an entire house under ground with another one on top of it? He thought to himself and shook his head.
"I'll never understand humans. Besides, I like the smell of the rain, and dirt doesn't really have a smell."

"Dirt does too have a smell," The girl argued, scrunching her nose as if to make a point. "You just can't smell it anymore because you live in it."
Callie shook her head and chuckled at Bear's deion of a bath. Oh, ignorant boy.
"Bear, honestly. You need a bath because I think a shower might hurt your skin. And I need a bath to relax. Baths are relaxing." Callie shrugged. They were. She'd take a bath over a shower any day.
"You know, it'd be a waste of water to take two baths. We could probably share one, if you wanted? You know, after hot chocolate, of course."

Bear frowned and sniffed at his clothes. I knew I smelled bad. But the heat of a blush on his cheeks seared that thought away. Share...a bath? Don't...don't people have to be naked to do that? His blush deepened and he tried to hide it, but failed miserably. He voiced his thoughts.
"Wouldn't that be just a bit...awkward. For us to...you know, share a bath? I thought you had to be naked to take one..." He stopped trying to hide his blush at this point.

Callie couldn't help but giggle at the boy's reaction. That blush... So, so adorable. She turned to face him, a wide smile on her face. She brought her hand up and gently brushed aside some of his bangs.
"Bear. What type of girl do you think I am?" She asked, obviously teasing him. "I'll wear a bathing suit, and you can wear your skivvies." Her favorite word for underwear, right there! Callie brought her hand down and rested it on the boy's chest. "Besides, it wouldn't be that awkward..."
A wink later, the bunny girl was headed back towards the kitchen section of the basement. She pulled a tub of hot coco onto the table, then grabbed the milk from the fridge. She liked her coco the good way.
"Come on, Bear. You can help measure out the coco." |

Bathing suit? So humans wear suits into the bath? Wouldn't that ruin the suit though? I'll never, ever understand humans. He sighed and followed her, absolutely clueless about what to do. He rubbed the back of his head in embarrassment.
"...How?" He asked looking away. He felt so utterly stupid for not knowing what to do. But what was he supposed to do with milk and a tub of powder? How could that possibly make hot chocolate?

Callie grinned as he looked away. Was he really that embarrassed? She went to the opposite corner of the room and poured some milk into a pan. Then, she pulled two mugs from the rack. The girl walked back to the table, putting the two cups back on the counter.
Callie opened the tub of cocoa and pulled out the little measuring cup that was in it. Wordlessly, she took the boy's hand and gently closed his fingers around the handle of the spoon.
"Three even scoops in each cup," She advised, giving the boy a smile. "I can help measure, if you really want," She added sincerely, giving him a grin. |

Bear watched the girl prepare the milk and cups then grasped the spoon, determined.
"I can do it!" He said, puffing out his chest and sticking out his tongue like a kid. He carefully scooped the brown powder into the cups, only spilling a little bit onto the counter, and turned to grin at Callie. "What's next?"

Callie grinned at the boy's eagerness. It only took him a while to scoop the powder. That was good. She'd have to wipe down the counters later, but that was later... Much, much later. Since tonight, she was going to focus all on Bear.
The bunny girl stuck her tongue out at the boy and went to fetch the pot. She walked over, being careful of Bear, and cautiously poured the milk into the mugs.
"Stir, then enjoy."

Bear grinned at her thoughts. She'd focus entirely on him. He couldn't wait. He guessed he'd wait for a bit, though, as his attention was drawn to the milky powder. He stirred it carefully, until all the powder had dissolved then he took a cautious sip, scalding his tongue. But the flavor was amazing. He found himself taking another, longer sip, nearly choking when it burned his throat.
Frowning, he blew on the liquid and tried again, this time not burning himself as bad. It was delicious!
Though, I still wonder if there is such thing as orange flavored hot chocolate...

Callie took a spoon and slowly stirred her cup, letting it cool down before she drank. She could have warned Bear, but she just wanted to see his reaction. And that reaction was gold. He nearly drowned himself in the scalding cocoa. How cute!
Callie gently blew on her cocoa before taking a small sip. Mmm. Delicious. It tasted almost as good as that shared back sounded. Almost.

Bear nodded enthusiastically, downing the rest of the mug, spilling a bit down his chin in his haste. He frowned and wiped it away.
"So...how about that bath, now?" He asked, although he absolutely hated water. Although, he had to admit, he was dirty, and...well, sharing a bath with Callie didn't sound so bad, at this point.

Callie couldn't help but smile as Bear downed the class of cocoa. He spilled, only making Callie laugh. She shook her head and slowly sipped her own hot chocolate, taking her sweet time.
"I'll go start the water and change," The girl said, leaving her half full glass on the counter. She motioned to it with her hand, pretty much saying that the boy could drink it if he wanted. With that, Callie left to the bathroom. She crouched down to the clawfoot tub and turned the warm water on.
To the bedroom to change! The bunny girl practically skipped to her room, digging through her drawers. She wondered which suit she should wear? Well, the neon yellow one, of course! |

Bear tried to resist drinking the rest of the hot cocoa but failed, gulping it down happily. Once he had finished, he followed the bunny girl's scent to the bathroom, where he watched the tub fill with water. He shuddered. He absolutely hated water, it got his fur and hair wait and made him feel heavy and slow, like he couldn't get away if he needed to escape. But he'd do this, for Callie. Although, he wasn't exactly comfortable with only wearing his underwear... He wondered if her dad had a pair of these bathing suit shorts he could borrow...
