Without waiting for a reply he grabbed Lilly and pulled her behind some boulders shouting: "get down!" Immediately after he said this, a bullet whizzed past where Lilly's head would have been.
'Damn," said Ukamundo. "This just isn't my day. We just had to run into a dawatsu patrol!" he fired his assault rifle over the rocks. In the distance, lilly heard several groans. Ukamundo ducked back down as the lizard-men returned fire.
He swore and pressed a button on his wrist-unit. "Tesari Base, this is Commander Galamachi. Iv'e run into a Dawatsu patrol and have been engaged. Repeat i've been engaged. I need backup or extraction"
Static, then; "Copy that Commander. Negative on the Evac. We have nothing on station and we're refeuling the ones at base. You're going to have to sort it out yourself"
Ukamundo Swore again. "Thanks" he said through gritted teeth. then; "This is Commander Galamachi broadcasting on an open channel, i have been engaged at grid 1200699 and need extraction. is there anyone out there?"
"Copy that Commander. This is Harrier Widow 315. I'm heading towards your signal now."
"Thanks Widow. Out"

Lilly nodded and held onto the gem on her necklace and looking around I can do this she thought. But before she got to do anything Winter came out of her shadow and Summer came out of a beam of light.
"Need any help commander sir?" Summer asked looking at Ukamundo "Because my squad will be most happy to assist.
Winter gave a slight nod although she didn't look like she was happy in fact it was more like she just wanted to get things over with so that she could leave.
Then Devon seemed to run up behind them and take cover also "Third member of squad KTW33 present sir. I'm sorry for my slight lateness ,my comrades seem to think it's great to leave me behind sir.".
(Yep...Let's just put them in the forces XD)

"What? Who? The hell? What's going on?!?"
'p-ting, p-tong!' more bullets whizzed towards them and bounced off the rock.
"Never mind, just don't get killed"
In the horizon a black speck glinted in Maya's sun.
"The harrier!" Ukamundo yelled.
As it approached, Ukamundo waved towards it, although almost losing his hand to a bullet in the process. The harrier turned towards them, and began its descent, putting it between them and the Dawatsu. A marine in the .50 cal seat opened fire with a thumping 'du-du-du' and Ukamundo had to yell over the din: "Get in the 'copter! now!"
"Who are those wierdos?" asked the pilot.
"No questions, just get us out of here!"
"But i can't take them back to Tesari sir! it's a gainst - ARGHH!!!"
His head exploded in a most gory fashion and he slumped forward over the controls. The Harrier lurched forward suddenly and Ukamundo found himself thrown to the ground. As the rotor blades came in contact with the ground, time seemed to slow down as the harrier broke, the two marines jumped out, and Ukamundo thrust 'KTW33' back against the boulder. Then there was a blinding flash of light, pain, ringing in the ears, and then blackness.

Ukamundo came to, and his head pounded. and he was blind. "No not blind," he thought, "in darkness" (couldnt do italics ) As his sight adjusted, he saw he was in a a cell with, what were thier names? Lily, Summer winter and Damien? No, Devon. They, like him he discovered, were bound, gagged and sporting bruises and cuts.
"What? help!!!" he tried to say, but it came as "MRMMPH! MRRRMPH!"
Then the door opened and lo and behold, Chief Shaman Xhakhaz of the dawatsu empire stood there, his mouth open, his vicsous teeth in a smirk.
"Hello Commander" he almost spat the word, "How nice of you to pop in for a visit. And what nice freinds you have too..."

(novel is called 'Honours of War, Uprising. Only got prologue and most of chapter one done but its fast and action packed. My roleplays are based around its characters (Ukamundo, The Allinace, etc.)so thats the knid of writing to expect although more adult (swearing) but its still a good read (or at least i think so) but really its good)

Lilly looked at Xhakhaz with a look of utter confusion. Why am I here? she thought wincing a bit when she found that her tail was bound. She then closed her eyes 'one thing after another.' she muttered but it came out more like "Mun fing afdu unafher.".
Winter smirked slightly under the gag ,although she was in great pain at the moment tending to her wounds would be easy after she would execute her plan. Summer to smiled slightly under her gag ,she had managed to rid herself of her brusing and cuts. 'You thinking what I'm thinking wint?' she said although it sounded like "Lue fiken waat in fiken lint?". Winter nodded slightly and closed her eyes before making a clone of herself out of her shadow. Winter's clone smirked "My aren't we handsom." It said looking at Xhakhaz. Summer then made a clone out of herself from what little light there was in the cell. Summer's clone looked at Winter's "Spare him dearest siter of the shadows." it said "This guy is as ungly as lizzard men come.". Winter's clone shrugged before sending a jolt of pain through Xhakah.
