William nodded, a small smile tugging at his lips. He shook his head slightly when he noticed the girls slight smirk before he nodded and looked back at Aven. "If you'll two ladies excuse me, I'll be heading back now. I still have to prepare the carriage for the ball tonight."rnrn

He bowed slightly and walked past them before stopping and looking at Dawn for a moment, before opening his mouth and talking once more. "Looking forward to seeing you in the new dress." He noticed Aven's look and added quickly. "Lovely as always Miss Aven." Before he hurried back out towards the stables, earning a look from the butler on the way out.rnrn

Aven looked over at Dawn who was looking away from Will, a blush evident on her face. She smiled when he left though raised an eyebrow when he stopped to say something to Dawn before quickly adding her in. She chuckled slightly and shot a look a Dawn. "I didn't know my father hired such a young man."rnrn

Aven smiled at that and nodded her head, she was already ready. But she let the blunder by seeing as how flustered Dawn was, Aven would be that way tonight. Just ten times worst. She would just be there like an idiot, her face scarlet red as she'd let her sister draw the attention away from her.rnrn

She walked towrds the dress. "Well this is just stunning." She said looking down at the red dress, she could see why William was looking forward to it. If it looked this nice off, it'd probably look a million time better on Dawn. She smiled excitedly at Dawm. "Imagin Dawn," she said dramatically. "Perhaps tonight we will cause every man to fall inlove with us, and Callista will be so mad." She laughed jokingly. That would just be what their parents wanted, them engaged to a young man on wealth. Though if she remembered correctly, Dawns parents were working on something with a certain young man. The thought of marriage seemed horrible for Aven, especially if it was arrange. She shook her head and looked back at her friend. "We can get ready in my room, come on."

Aven smiled at her friends comment about her sister and shook her head, she was really something else.rnrn"Oh Dawn you stunning!" Aven said smiling she took her friends shoulders and guided the girl towards the mirror. "Look." she smiled at her friends relfection. The red dress was pretty, and the lace just added to it. "Maybe the men will fall for us." She laughed slightly before stepping back when she heard her mothers voice call out. It seemed it was time to go. She looked at Dawn. "Ready?"rnrn

Will brought the carriage out front. The black horses matched the carriage exactly, which he was sure would make Mrs. Hardwicke happy. He had even put on the outift, it was a tailored suit that also matched the carriage, black with gold trim. At least he didn't have to wear a stupid hat. He smiled and nodded when he saw Mrs. Hardwicke steo out, she was wearing a dress the same colour as Aven, though it was designed differently. He watched as the girls came out after her, first Callista than Aven and her friend. He smiled when he noticed the girl in the dress. "Well I see it looks just as good on as it does off." he smiled.rnrn

Mrs. Hardwicke shot him a look of horror and Callista rolled her eyes uninterested. "I only meant that-" he cut himself off and sighed. "I meant may i help you in?" He streatched out his hand. Aven's mother took it with clear disdane and allowed the young man to help her into the carriage. He then did the same with Callista who batted her eyelashed at him before sitting in next to her mother. He then help Aven who nodded nervously and smiled, he could feel her shaking in his hand. Obviously someone was not looking forward to the party. He turned back to Dawn and offered his hand.rnrn

William retracted his hand when she didn't and waited until she sat herself down in the carriage before closing the door. He didn't really care that she didn't take his hand, she probably had good reason. He scratched at his chin for a moment before moving around to the front. He gave the horses a once off patting one of the horses neck before seating himself on the seat thing. (Not sure what that would be called XD) and setting off. He was glad he had ran through this with the horses yesterday, it would be horrible if he had gotten them late and they showed up unceremoniously late.rnrn

Aven raised and eyebrow slightly when Dawn dismissed Will's hand. She looked away and looked out of the small window on the other side of the carriage. These rides where the worst, always awkwardly quiet the only sound being that of the horses hooves clomping on the ground. Sometimes Aven could find small comfort in that noise though, it didn't seem to be working this time. She began to wring her hands as she always did when she grew nervous, she looked around the cariage, her mother was staring out the other window and Callista seemed deep in thought as she absent mindedly played with the bracelet on her wrist. This was going to be a long ride.rnrn

William sighed when he reached the large mansion, they were finally here. He heard the horse snort and he smiled slightly before stepping down. He nodded at the other man who stood at the door before he opened the Hardwickes carriage. He helped Mrs. Hardwicke out first, then Callista, though she paid him less attention than usual. He was greatful but yet he kinda felt hurt, her attentions where for a tall man standing near the door telling something to the bulter. When he saw her he looked over and grinned and waved slightly.rnrn

William looked away and put his hand once more for Dawn and Aven. Raising and eyebrow expectantly, wondering if the girl was going to ignor him once more.rnrn

Aven felt a knot grow in her stomach when she finally saw the large mansion. She sucked in a breath, this was it. Hours more of nervousness and anxiety to follow. The Bronsons always threw a large ball every one to two months, a way to show off their wealth. Not to mention that Mr. Bronsons' daughters and wife would be wearing the most expensive gowns, probably imported from Paris or somewhere else. Aven looked over when the door opened, soon her mother and sister stepped out. Her sisters eyes immidiately leaving William to look at another man. Aven couldn't exactly see who but she had it was a feeling it was no doubt some other man, in a dashing suit. William was waiting, Aven poked Dawn lightly.rnrn

((Lol, its alright. I mentioned that Callista and Aven looked like twins, only that Callista had a more glamourous appearance. So the only thing you go wrong was that Cal's hair is actually black.rnrn

Also, I thought Samuel was Dawn's man. Didn't he like her? Or did I just read everything wrong?))rnrn

William nodded before he proceeded to take Aven shaky hands. He give it a light squeeze for comfort and she in turn smiled slightly at him. "Enjoy your party." He smiled and she nodded. "Now or never Dawn." Aven said nervously, wringing her hands together before walking up the steps after the rest of her family.rnrn

The mansion was stunning, beautifully decorated with gold and silver. Another indicate at the families great wealth. Aven let out a light sigh. "Wow, their parties never cease to amaze me."

Aven's eyes widened considerably when she stepped into the ball room. It was packed, people hung around enjoying it others company others dancing on the floor. There was also the group of men that were surrounding Callista and her friends. Aven looked away and tried to ignore the loud clatter of everyones voices. The parts of conversations that Aven her caused the knot in her stomach to grow worse.rnrn

"Ugh, did you see that dress? She wore it the last time. I hear her family barely has any money left."rn

"Wow, it looks as if someone chewed her dress than spat it out. What a mess."rn

"Did you see her hair?"rnrn

Aven rubbed her temples, she really did not want to be here, at all. The only thing that could make matters worst was if her mother forces her to dance with some random man she didn't know. "Dawn, tell me again, why I'm here and didn't fake being sick?"rn

((Lol, Aven's dancing would be fun. She'd step on his feet out of nervousness XD Though I'm not sure how they should meet, unless we get Aven's mom to make his mother introduce them and make them dance. Or I can give Callista a random change of heart and force Lance upon her XP))
