William's eyebrow shot up, wondering what she was talking about before it hit him. Him and Callista, courting? He shook his head and a laugh escaped his mouth. "No, me and Callista?" He grinned as though just the thought of it was hilarious. "No, theres nothing going on there. She just plays around with me when she's bored. I'm pretty sure she's like that with every guy."rnrn

Him and Callista, that would have been funny. They had absolutely nothin in common, and the whole opposites attract. That didn't work in their case. In the most they were friends, though he could never figure her out. One minute she was flirting, than she had a rude remakr and with Aven she was either the annoying sister or the protective, proud big sister. He shook his head once more before the last thing she said clicked in his mind. "Hey, it could happen. A stable boy could land a rich girl like yourself. We are the same species contrary to popular belief."rnrn

Aven was happy he agreed with the idea, not that there was really anywhere else to do. She was surprised when he opened the door and motioned for her to go first. Her face went a light pink and she nodded stepping past him. He didn't need to be so formal around her, that would just encourage any rumours. And by now the maid were already gossiping amungst(sp?) themselves, soon they would tell their other friend who in turn would tell their masters and rumours would be flying. Unless their mothers told first. Aven looked back for a moment and saw the two woman peeking out at them from a curtain, she shhok her head and lead the way to the garden.rnrn

When she opened the door she was immediately greeted by a jumpy yorkshire terrier, Aven made a face and nudged the thing gently with her foot. "C'mon get out of here Jinx." She said the dog barked before running past her. Aven shook her head and looked back at Mr. Ashford. "Sorry, Callista's dog, My mother didn't want him in the house while you were here."rnrn

She wrung her hands nervously and looked around, the gardener who was there smiled at her once before hurrying inside, no doubt to catch up on whatever happened to be going around the house. She looked over at Lancelot. "Would you prefer to walk around or just sit?" She asked motioning to the bench inside the white gazebo in the center of the garden.rnrn

((I kinda don't wanna explain but the garden is really big with alot of flowered trees, and theres a large gazebo, that has vines growing on it in the center with a path leading up to it and its surrounded by cherry blossom like trees. Theres also a fountain with some marble benchs around it. ((Wow I am stuck, have no idea what to write XP I kinda want Aven to regect Lance's arm, but no matter what I type it sounds kind of rude and so unlike her XP I also don't have a reaction for Will XD))

Aven bit her lip for a moment as she watched the elbow. She wrung her her finger nervously. She didn't want to be rude, but it would be better if she just didn't take his arm. It would just fuel whatever crazy things people were thinking. She honestly didn't think anything of the man, and she didn't want to send him any sort of message that she was the slightest bit interested. She shook her head and looked up at him. "I don't mean to be rude, but I'd better not. Wouldn't want to fuel anymore crazy thoughts." she said looking back towards the window, she knew they were there, they were just being careful. She bit her lip again. "My mother is going to kill me if she found out that I just said that.rnrn

William smiled once more, his eyes twinkling. "Right well I will I'd better be going." he said scratching his chin. "I wouldn't want to miss what Mrs. Hardwicke is up to." He nodded once more and went back outside to his horse.rnrn

Aven smiled, happy that he was not upset. She nodded and followed after him, falling into step beside him. She looked around at the flowers in the garden, she was so proud of it. And she loved being out here, she used to play her violin under the gazebo for her father.rnrn

She looked over at Lance for a second before looking past him at a tree. She turned and looked back over at the fountain. She really had nothing to saw, though she guessed she didn't need to. The two of them could just enjoy the beauty of the garden without talking. Though if he somehow had something to say she wouldn't be rude.rn

((Yeah it has but I thought it was m Internet acting up XD And I'm really not to sure what to say about Lancelot, that's why I fail with Aven XP We could always just end the date if you want after the stroll....))

Aven nodded and curtsied after he bow. She watched him walk away before turning on her heel and taking the other door into her house, her sister immediately running up to her. "So how did it go? You two seemed to hit it off."rnrn

Aven rolled her blue eyes and shook her head. "Theres a difference between liking someone and just being polite." she said brushing past her. "Avey Dear!" She heard her mothers voice call. Aven sucked in a breath and stepped into the room where her mother sat once again with her needle point. "So how was it."rnrn

"It was fine."rnrn

Mrs. Harwicke raised an eyebrow. "When should I call him over again then Dear?"rnrn

Aven made a face an shook her head. "I thought I made it clear, I'm not interested. I don't care when you invite him over again." And with that she stormed out, her sister following her and grabbing her arm. "Aven was he mean to you?" She asked eyes wide. The other girl shook her head. "He was nice, I just don't want her to know that. Might give her some ideas."rnrn

((Alright, would you prefer Dawn's or Aven's? If it was Dawn's it'd be weird if she was missing her party to hang out with the stable boy. And if it was Aven's it'd be weird because she'd probably be stuck with Lance and looking for Dawn to bail her out, though she'd be talking to Will...So what do you wanna do?))

((Gee, I dunno. Oh what about a Carnival or something? Though that might not fit the timeline...I really have no idea what to do...rn
