"It was no problem," Crim panted, catching his breath and getting up. "To glide, you'll just want to hold your wings out. It can be tiring long distance, and if you catch the wind wrong you tumble backwards, which is very unpleasant, I find," Crim said, crinkling his nose in distaste. "Follow me," he said. He crouched for a moment and then sprang aloft, spreading his wings as large as they could go and angling them slightly to turn towards his cave.

Aqua whimpered, watching as Crim gliding down.  She closed her eyes, taking a deep breath, and jumped into the air, stretching her wings out like Crim was.  She opened one of her eyes as she glided, a smile starting to crack across her face as she realized that she was doing it right.  She followed Crim as she descended, liking the feeling of gliding.

"Brilliant," Crim said with a smile, "I think I hear my parents inside, you'll like them, I think. They always are polite to guests."

Magmatius lifted his head up from where he was taking a nap next to his wife, smiling when he noticed his son, Crim.  "Oh..?"  He murmured when he noticed the other shape next to his son.  "Now who could that be?"

Velocita lifted her head up to look at Magmatius, "Anything wrong?"  She asked groggily.

Magmatius shook his head.  "Our son just came back, with a friend."  He barely heard his wife's mumbled reply as he walked to the entrance of the cave.  "Welcome back son, who is this friend?"

Aqua was suddenly at a loss for words.  Crim's parents were so..  BIG!  They looked really strong too, and she couldn't help shrinking back a bit with fear.  Would Crim ever grow that big?  She looked at her friend as she imagined him bigger.  She would have giggled if his father didn't scare her so much. 

"This is Aqua," Crim chirped, craning his neck to look up at his parents, "I found her by the sea with some rocks, can she stay here and such?"

"By the sea?" Magma asked.  He leaned in to smell Aqua, reeling back when he did.  "This, this is no dragon."  He tilted his head to one side. narrowing his eyes with suspicion.  "Where do you come from young one."

"I.. I..  I came from an egg."  Aqua replied, her voice cracking.  "Crim found me."

He turned his attention back to his son.  "And what did her egg look like, Crim?"

"Ummm, I think it was blue, I dunno," Crim admitted, stuttering at his parents slightly. "Is something the matter?"

"Crim, please."  Velocita suddenly appeared at her mate's side.  "I do not think you understand.  Aqua is not a natural being, and she should not exist.  It is a miracle, no, a curse that her egg even was able to hatch.  She is a disgrace to both Dragons and Sea Beasts."  She kept her voice calm and cool, though she sensed her mates growing anger.

Aqua ducked behind Crim away from Magma's piercing eyes.  She hoped they wouldn't hurt her..  They wouldn't hurt Crim, she knew, so as long as he was there she was safe..  Hopefully..

"Well, you're different.."  Velocita started, but was cut off by Magma.

"Enough of this, either you give her up or you both will be counted as fugitives and hunted down!"  Magma snarled, not thinking about the consequences of his words due to his intense anger.

"You..  You don't have to do this.."  Aqua whispered to Crim.  "I don't want to start anything dangerous.." 

"Erm..." Crim said, shifting in discomfort. "Aqua," he said, "RUN!"
