Sierra joyously ran to Deveth.  "You're... You're ALIVE!" she spoke.  "I'm so sorry, but all odds pointed to death.  I appointed a new Beta, but I think you shall immediately take back your place!  I am very sorry, Tibious.  Oh, so many things happened!  Wait - I know what you're thinking, Tibious is the enemy, but he's on our side now.  He saved my life, too!  Plus, Adder and Ruric are both DEAD and I sent out tons of patrols to make sure their wolves were gone and they are so we're safe!   We're safe, Deveth, we're safe!"  Sierra licked his cheek in an Alpha-to-Beta-happy-reunion-friendship type of way.  "We missed you."
She then cocked her head slightly, "Why the long face?"

Litta howled, but each howl was weaker.  She realized how tired she was.  Two months.  Two months she had spent traveling to reach this barren place where Deveth may or may not have been.
"Anyone?" Litta breathed pitifully.
"Please.... anyone..."

(Sorry for the extreme fail. I didn't have much to say.)

As if she had heard his thoughts, the Alpha added, "She's been out there for two months, I'd say.  I've been worrying about her, but what with all the pack, I guess I just sort of... left her be.  She was headset on finding you.."

Asu and Kayna stepped forward, Asu ready to go.  He had completely forgotten about Litta since she was gone for so long.  Kayna, however, looked back at her brother.  Kayto stifled a growl, since the two never liked to be separated, especially for what could be a large amount of time.  And, frankly, Kayto was a bit upset that he wasn't chosen.  Kayna wasn't... she wasn't exactly...
It was hard to put his paw on it.

Tibious followed him, but stopped before Sierra first. "I'm sure he's just in a bad mood." He said, then continued following Deveth.

"Oh, you're saying that to me?"  [I'm surprised nobody's doing anything about this o-o; ]
Sierra jumped on top of Deveth and shut HIS muzzle shut, shaking her head back and forth to make deep cuts.  Her claws grasped for anything to destroy.

"Break it up!" Kayto growled and practically twisted Deveth out of Sierra's grip and held him back.  Asu stood by Sierra, but at a distance... angry Alphas don't like to be held back by their hunters, and he wasn't exactly as brave as Kayto.
"You guys used to be best friends.  What has happened in two minutes?" Kayto started calmly.  "Stop fighting, make up, and Deveth will be on his way."

Deveth stood up, his muzzle bloody. "Sorry for caring about my packmate." He grumbled. He turned to Tibious and Kayna. "Come on, let's go." He said, and began walking. Tibious followed.

(I feel like I need to kill a character of mine.)

xD Though, I doubt you'd kill them.  Anybody else, though, I don't think you should kill... You've killed off a lot recently :I )

Sierra was about to say something back but decided to stay calm.  She trudged off to her den angrily after Deveth left, her cold silence speaking volumes.

Kayna and Asu followed after Deveth, a bit shaken by what had hapenned between him and the Alpha.

Deveth walked. He tried to follow Litta's scent, but he couldn't even find it. So, he walked through the woods, shouting and screaming her name, over and over again.

Asu went up to Deveth.  "Um, Beta?" he said.  "I think we should start at where you fell off of Death Bite Cliff.  M-maybe we should try to think like what Litta would have thought.."

(Fail. wanna do a time skip...to when they find her?)

(Let's time skip to when they've reached the desert.  Maybe Deveth sees Yawto again and asks if they've seen another wolf...?)

Asu's long fur was certainly not helping in this hot desert environment.  Yes, this was where their search had led them.  The sandy expanse was incredibly vast and he knew the chances for finding Litta in here was slim.  Very, very slim.
If she was even here.

Kayna, on the other head, was running around in the sand like it was fun.  Which it was, to her.  The feel of hot sand soothed her paws and she liked how her fur sort of matched its color.

"Deveth? Why are you here? I thought you went-"

"I did. Have you seen another wolf around the desert, by any chance?"

"No. Why?"

"We're missing a pack member. Her name is Litta, she's white with brown on her ears and tail and paws. She's been missing for two months."

"I'll keep an eye out for her." Yawto said.

Asu cocked his head.  All he's going to do is keep an eye out for her?  That's all he says?
But he wasn't one to argue... "Deveth, is this your kind friend?  Did he help you while you were gone?"  He turned to Yawto, "It's nice to finally meet you."

Kayna took a more... enthusiastic approach.  She almost toppled over Yawto by jumping just in front of his face and saying, "Hi, I'm Kayna, I'm from the forest, we're looking for a friend, her name's Litta, she's pretty and she's been out here for two months looking for Deveth who you apparently took care of and I guess you did a good job but why is he so crabby, no offense thoug Deveth, and well-" her thoughts were cut off when Asu decided to put his tail over her mouth.
If Kayto wasn't here... I guess it was his job to babysit...

Yawto took a step back. "Yes, I took care of Deveth. I found him in the river, washed up on the shore, actually, and covered in blood. We also, after he left, found half of a wolf's skeleton washed up on shore, so Deveth was lucky to live." He paused."Nice to meet you too. Do you know where your friend went...exactly?"
