Ruric narrowed his eyes. He could tell something was off about Drazia's words, but ignored that fact then. "If it seemed good at the time, it means it usually ends up not being good if you have to use that phrase again while explaining to another," he said. "But he's dead anyways and we've still got the rest, so."
--- Sierra didn't mind interruptions as long as it wasn't a flurry of words right now. "What's your idea, Lyria?"

"I will go to Adder's Pack." Lyria said. "I'll become the healer, but give them herbs that will kill them, and poison them at every chance I get." Lyria said, not sure if Sierra would approve of her plan, or if she would think it was just an excuse to go to Adder's pack.
--
Drazia nodded fearfully, glad that Ruric hadn't had him killed.

Sierra raised her brows at Lyria's idea. "How do I know this isn't meaning that you'll leave the pack?"
--- [Ruric's just.... there. :u ]

Lyria sighed. "I suppose you don't." She said. "Please, Alpha, just...trust me. I have never turned on you."
Neither had Adder, Deveth thought.

"How about the pack's opinion?" Litta suggested, eyes still full of tears and her face showing clear signs of sadness and mourning.
Sierra shook her head. "No, it's a big decision for majority to rule." She sighed and realized that if they lost Lyria... It would be horrible... But, then again, Sierra had learned the role of a healer as well. "Fine then, Lyria. Though if you do not as you say, you shall be our enemy forever."

Lyria was slightly dissappointed in the fact that the alpha didn't seem to trust her very well. Sierra seemed to thing Lyria was the type of wolf who would betray her entire pack, and trick them. Who did Sierra think she was? Adder? She turned to Deveth and Sierra. "I promise," She said,"I won't let you guys down." She said, and hoped they would trust her. She looked back at them once, before sprinting off into the forest, toward the direction that the howls had seemed to come from earlier.

(I know it's my turn to post. x3 Just make sure Adder and Ruric don't die. For epical scene purposes ccc; )
Ruric liked the feel of the wind on his fur as he overlooked his somewhat small pack. The ones who were rebelling. Their attack was today. The sun was just poking its head over the horizon and Ruric remembered back when he was just a pup. Looking for his dad, the great Adder. Adder was Alpha while Ruric was second-in-command. He was so much bigger now, and even the healer from his old scrap of a pack had decided to join the obviously better pack. He padded over to his sleepy father. "We're attacking when the sun is at its highest point. Correct?" Ruric confirmed with a devilish smirk. --- Sierra's tail curled around her body as she lay in camp, still not fully awake and wishing she could afford more sleep. Colfax was off in his small little den, sleeping yet alert, and Kayto was standing guard with Kayna, who had fallen asleep. Sierra stretched on the ground and her ears pricked to listen to the early morning birdsong that seemed ever so far away. She surveyed the pack and took everyone into account, except for the traitors and Lyria. Lyria was on their side. Litta was still not completely over Song, as she'd always remain in her heart and a big part of her. But she couldn't mourn forever. Litta no longer shed tears about her daughter, or at least that was because she didn't like to think of it much, and she felt stronger. However, her hatred for Ruric and Adder only grew stronger by the second. Adder was no longer her mate in her mind. Litta went over to Deveth, who she felt closer to much more than the most she felt close to Adder. But nothing romantic was going on between them. Then the old, old, conversation entered her thoughts. Litta quickly shunned it out.

Adder smirked. "Correct." He said, then turned to Drazia. "Drazia, wake up Tibious and Farook. Now." He commanded. He watched Drazia for a moment as he padded over to the sleeping wolves. They had slept much too late, and would be punished for it. But Adder would deal with that later- he had the invasion to worry about right now. Adder would kill Sierra alone and hopefully his son would put Deveth down. That was how it needed to be, and they couldn't afford to fail. But Adder had trained each abd every one of the wolves and all of them were deadly fighters- Especially Ruric. And they would win.
Deveth looked at Litta for a moment, then off into the distance. Without tirning back to her, he said;"Well. Choosing Adder: now didn't that turn out well? He's left you, your daughter is dead, and your son is surely a murderer now that he's ran off to the Revolution." Deveth was still angry with her, but had never really said anything. He growled.
Tibious yelped as Drazia bit his ear to wake him up.

Litta would have growled, but she held it back. "I know. It was a mistake. I felt it early on, but I ignored it. I should have listened to what my heart was trying to tell me. Not how my mind was trying to decieve me," she said, sighing. "Forgive me, Deveth. I don't want to be your enemy." She could feel somehow... a deep hate emenating from Deveth.
--- Ruric smirked, but was ready to punish the wolves for oversleeping.

Deveth sighed. "...Fine." He grumbled. "I forgive you." He said. He wanted to remain her enemy, but decided that it would be better in the end if he forgsve her.
"Ruric, feel free to choose their punishment." Adder said.

Ruric narrowed his eyes. "I'm going to have to keep you from eating today. Tomorrow you may only have one meal as well. Since today's the day of the attack, you should be up already. It's about time to invade." He turned to his father. "You're going to take care of the stupid Alpha, right?"
--- "Thanks.." Litta said. She had a mental battle before finally nuzzling Deveth softly. It was friendly, not much of anything serious. But she worried about that small act now.

"Right," Adder said. "Now, the beta, Deveth, has reasons to want me dead, so he will surely be coming for me. Your job, Ruric, is to put him down. If you manage to kill him, try and take out as many of the other wolves as you can." He paused. "We'll leave in about five minutes."
Deveth smiled, but felt a bit embarassed when Litta nuzzled him.

Sierra contemplated her pack. It was small. And tomorrow was mating season, the one after Litta and Adder mated. There was also still no Alpha Male. Ever since the death of Sierra's parents, there had been no Alpha Male. They needed one, and they needed more pack members.
Litta smiled. Deveth was really warm. And sort of fluffy. And soft. --- Ruric nodded, in compliance with Adder. He'd kill Deveth, the foolish Beta, and Adder would kill Alpha, and then possibly kill a few others. Then they'd find more wolves and eventually take over the forest, killing Alphas and gaining more land and more power. Soon, it was time. "Let's go. Move out, everyone! Lesser wolves in the back, more important wolves towards the front. Adder and I in the lead. Move it, move it, move it! I haven't got all day!" Ruric growled.

Adder couldn't help but smile. he'd waited so long for this. He took his position at the front of the pack, and saw Nykius and Drazia behind him. The two most skilled fighters. The rest of the wolves in the back.
Tibious took his position near the back.
Deveth kept smiling.

Ruric howled, many of the other wolves joining in. "Fear the Revolution," it said. He then proceeded forward.
--- Litta said, "We'd better get ready for the fight." Sierra braced herself, a slight breeze hitting her fur. "Everyone," she began. "Be ready. Here come the traitors."

Adder smiled as he padded forward, his small but powerful army following, his son at his side. He padded forward until he could see the old camp, and without hesitating, he walked right into the camp, signalling for everyone to stay hidden except for Ruric, Hati, and Lyria. He watched Hati and Lyria come forward, and waited for Ruric.
Lyria looked up to Sierra, and mouthed the words 'he's going to lie.' But she didn't know if Sierra would understand.
