Linus stands at around 5'11. He has deep red eyes and rather thick eyebrows. His hair is deep red and the left side is shorter than the right side. The right side of his hair forms a fringe that covers his right eye. He usually wears either a tight shirt to show off his abs or a loose and open shirt that effectively does the same thing. Pant wise he is quite fond of jeans, black jeans are his favorite though. His ears are light grey with black tips and his tail matches.

Charlie had woken up far too early this morning. He was currently eating breakfast, but his eyelids still felt as if they were going to seal shut in an instant. It didn't help that Anabiel was curled up on the table beside him, hardly putting any effort into waking up. He shovelled cereal and milk into his mouth lazily until there were only soggy crumbs remaining, and then rose to rinse out his bowl. 

Anabiel poked her head out from her coil at the sudden noise of the tap turning on. "Remind me, why did we wake up this early?" she drawled, sliding across the table and up Charlie's arm onto his shoulder. "You know why," Charlie replied. He tipped out the water from the bowl and put it face-down on the bench. Charlie had to be at the police station by 8.30am to meet with the head detective there for a job interview. Anabiel didn't like the idea so much though. She had said it was because the station smelled like detergent-soaked, highly caffeinated dead cockroaches, or something like that anyway.

Madison had been awake for a while now, since the sun had risen over her face and tricked her into thinking it was some reasonable hour. So, instead of sleeping, she perched in her favourite tree of the park and waited for any early birds to walk by for her to chat with. Gabe sat on her shoulder, preening his feet, while Finlay was balanced on a branch below them.

Though she had lived with Madison for most of her life, Finlay still hadn't completely come to trust the precariously swaying branches of the tall trees. Being a domestic cat, it was in her nature that she should be perfectly content sitting on the branch closest to the ground. That, and Gabe had once tried to peck her out of the tree.

Madison scramble across to the end of the branch she was perched on to get a better look at the two women who had just walked near her tree. She watched them for a few more moments before whispering, "Hey! Psst! Over here!"

The cold early-morning breeze forced Charlie to go back inside to get a jacket, but he was out of the house again in seconds. Anabiel was inside his jacket sleeves, enjoying the warmth. He made his way quickly down the road. The police station was about half and hour's walk from his house, so Charlie had resolved to try and get there as fast as he could.
