Kliy nodded, then remembered something. " Hey Zoruna, how come you seemed all sick back at the jail, but now you seem okay? " She wasn't quite certain of what happened to her sister. It seemed like during her little fainting spell, something had happened to her to make her all better. Kliy became imersed in thought and quickly forgot about the fear of the arrows.

"I... I dont remember. It's just like his face, it's familiar but i couldnt place it." Zoruna stated relaxing as her twin did also trying to find an answer to her question. "Hey, uh Logan is it? Do you have any idea why that is?" She asked, hoping he did.

"We dont have to stop do we. Shadows are the only thing we can bend. We would be FREAKS!" Zoruna's voice rising with with her fear. If she couldnt bend the shadows, then who would she be? She would be a non bending fire nation girl with no friends besides her sister. But then a thought accured to her, "If it's because of the shadows, then how come she's alright with nothing in her head?" She calmed a litlle but not enough to expell the fright from her dark eyes.

" I'm not sure about tht one. Mabye it's like with Firebenders. When they make a life changing decision, they get all sick like that. Mabye Shadow Benders dosomething similar. Make any big decisions lately Zoruna? " Kliy asked.

Kliy gave Logan a look like he was starting to act crazy. " I was just suggesting something... " She muttered. Not wanting to think about the conversation anymore, Kliy began to fool around with shadows, tossing shadows from hand to hand, making shadows weave through her fingers, all sorts of iinterestings little things.

Kliy ignored him, and after a few minutes she simehiw managed to turn the shadows into glue or something of that sort, suceeding in sticking her hands together and being unable to pull them apart for about ten seconds. She then returned to fooling around, this time actually trying to do it again.

Watching Kliy as well, she bagan snaking a shadow around her hand. She pushed it over to her sister bending it in circles around her head and hands. ""yeah yeah." Zoruna said absent mindedly the way she used to when her mother had given her c*censored*s to do. She stoped Immidiately causing the snake do dissinegrate, tears filling her eyes at the thought of her deceased parents. How could she have forgotten them? Zoruna stood up and walked away, climbing a nearby tree.

Kliy stopped her fooling around with Shadows to see what was going on with her sister. She felt similar sadness her sister felt come to herself throughthe shadows. Whikle Zoruna may be better at sensing emotions like that than Kliy, Kliy could still sense the stronger ones. She scaled the tree behind her sister to see what was wrong, and why it made her go into the tree. " you okay? " She asked.

"What do you think? If I was ok, do you think i would be crying in a tree?" Zoruna snapped at her twin, this action was unusual to her and she felt bad afterwards. "I'm sorry, look its all his fault." she whispered, "Ever since he has shown up, I have been getting weird vibes and things have been... odd." Zoruna didnt think that odd was the right word but it was the best she could come up with. She stared warily at the fire Dean had created. "Uuugh does he have to be a fire bender, thats just rubbing it in."

" He's not just a Fire Bender, you know. He's able to do all kinds of Bending... " Kliy said unhappily. She also didn't like how he was learning in just a few seconds, what had taken her and her sisters their entire lives to make up. He'd probably have all of their Bending down in a day. She got the idea of not teaching him everything. She felt pride in knowing how to do things that only she and her sister could do. Teaching Dean, even if he was the avatar, felt wrong to her.

"Forget it, I'm taking you two back to the prison." Dean snapped at them, sucking the water out of the tree. The tree collapsed, the twins held in the air by wind. "Let's go."

Zoruna could feel Kliy's untrustfulness mixed with sly. "so, what move are we keeping form him?" The change in emotion hinted that she had been right about Kliy's plan.

Kliy hit the ground, glaring at Dean. " No. We just got out of that terrible place. We aren't exactly going to go running back. " Kliy quickly got onto her feet, watching Dean carefully in case he decided to try and force them to go back. This wasn't a surprise attack like the one that captured her and her sister. This time, they knew what they were up against.

Zoruna, not usualy one to fight, swirled the shadows around her sister and herself like a sheild in case he were to attack. She would fight to stay away from those who had left burns on Kliy. "You will not take us back! You maybe the avatar, but you arent the boss of me. We are free now and we will do what we want to. GOT IT!!!" She was frightened and infuriated at the thought of going back, and she would not go down without a fight.

Dean laughed, shaking his head. "You don't understand, do you? I am the Avatar, and shadows cannot live when there is only light." He sneered, the world around them going up in flames. "I brought you out, I will put you back in! Being the son of an Avatar gave me special objects to deal with." He added, lifting them off the floor in a ball of wind. "I will bring you back to Zuko. Or better yet, I'll bring you back to the town's people." ((Emerald, in the last few posts, when you said that we were sleeping under a tree, that PP because we didn't give any consent saying to do so.)) |

((eeks im not very good at this am i. *bows head in shame* I am a failure, an epic failure)) "Yes, you probably could force us back but your wrong about the light. there cant be shadows in a world of light? There are shadows where you stand avatar. Look at your feet." All her fear had drained from her replaced by rage. Zoruna did something she had done only once, while practicing. She brought her arms around taking the shadows where ever there were, and flung them at the avatar. It was all in vain though, she had aimed to low and the shadows made a crater in front of his feet. "No! How did I miss." She had failed in her attack and all her rage gone. Zoruna did what only other thing she knew how and brought the shadows around herself cocooning herself in. She knew that this move could only shroud one person, and she had left her only family outside to defend herself against Dean.
