The Furuschean facility rocked as the Dawastu cannons took thier toll.
"Omikron 917! Order the Adepts to defence!" cried Juktren.
"Yes Commander" replied the Arkseer
A loud clunk came from somewhere nearby, followed by a hissing and then a hssing noise.
"Boarding craft!" said Juktren and suddenly 4 mechanical arms erupted from the back of his robes. 2 had large claws, one had a long rod and the other a cannon. Syra's hands glowed with her arcane powers. Juktren looked at Keegan Dante, as they had no weapons. "there's a weapons closet just there" one of his claws pointed. "grap a pulse rifle and help us out here" Juktren wielded his own pulse rifle.
Whether we wanted it or not, we\'ve stepped into a war with the Cabal on Mars. So let\'s get to taking out their command, one by one. Valus Ta\'aurc. From what I can gather he commands the Siege Dancers from an Imperial Land Tank outside of Rubicon. He\'s well protected, but with the right team, we can punch through those defenses, take this beast out, and break their grip on Freehold.

The door of the Dawatsu 'Hornet' boarding craft ground open and Dorgasi legionairres stormed out. one was incinerated by the particle laser on one of Juktren's arms, three more were blown up by his plasma cannon, and another 2 fell to his pulse rifle. It was silent, then more troops opened up with heavy machine guns.
"Not a good time now" said Juktren, falling back. "If we can get to the crucible we might be able to hold them" he fired a few more times, but was hit in the chest an collapsed. "Run!" yelled Syra.

Syra dived into the room, just as a grenade went off behind her. "Oh Lords its a goddamn hornet's nest out there!" she yelled. Dante seemed to have taken a liking to his pulse rifle and tried to give some covering fire. Keegan did likewise.

The grenade exploded, flinging bits of flame and schrapnel everywhere. On piece landed in Syra's thigh. She screamed and pulled it out, a rose misty substance leaked out of the wound.
