Allen nodded, but he wasn't really listening. Thunder boomed again, louder this time. Judging by the time between the booms, it was only eight miles away by now, at the very most. It was, needless to say, moving far too fast for his liking. None of the buildings around them were very tall, and there were a few trees dotted here and there that were taller than the buildings themselves, something he wasn't too happy about. If the storm made it over to where they were, the lightning would probably hit one of the trees, which was not very safe with the two of them underneath them.
