Lily, who was a bit surprised at what the boy had done, sniffed Draco's hand, and put her nose on it. She closed her eyes, and let out a long breath. Hermione gaped. Hagrid said that Lily didn't like boys. "Well, that's unusual," Hagrid said, confused.

Lily shook her mane, and whinnied. This boy wasn't so bad, once he got past his fear. She pulled back after a few seconds of Draco petting her and Hagrid said, "Move along, Draco. You did well."

"Yeah," Hermione said, heading to her next class. ~~~ Later that night, Hermione snuck down the ramp-like staircase of the hallway, stopping to sit on the railing at the bottom. She didn't want light near her, because she might get caught easier. Plus, there were a few lights in the hall made by the candles, anyway. Although, it wasn't much to see by. She swung her legs beneath her, singing a tune in her head.
