Draco turned back to his table, laughing amongst his 'friends'.

"Ugh." George said, glaring at Draco's back.

"I hate that bloody little twit." 

Although Hermione was a good distance from George, she could hear what he said.

"I completely agree," Fred said, looking at his brother, then at Draco.

Hermione bit her tongue, but couldn't help but blurt out, "He's not as mean as he seems, guys."

"Oh, so Hermione's got some experience with Draco?" Fred said, taking on a mocking tone.

Ron's face turned red with anger. Just the thought of Hermione being friends with Draco made him want to explode.

"This is the kid that calls you a you-know-what everytime he sees you, 'Mione." George scoffed.

"I hate him..." Harry muttered, shooting a glare over his shoulder. 

"He hasn't called me that lately." Hermione tried to sound confident, but she could tell this was a losing battle.

Ron finally spoke up. "Well, tell us how you know all of this. Tell us why you think he's not as bad as he seems?!" His face was red, and his hands were shaking.

Hermione wanted to laugh, and scream in his face at the same time to stop being so damn jealous.

"It's none of your business, Ron," Hermione said, glaring at Ron.

Hermione's face turned beet red at the mention of her sneaking around with Draco. Fred hit the nail right on the head.

"Yeah, Ron. Why do you care?" George asked, smirking.

"I just don't want Hermione to get hurt. Draco's unpredictable," Ron lied, trying to calm himself down.

You got that last part right, Ron, Hermione thought. The other night, Draco had been very unpredictable. Of course, Hermione couldn't predict what anyone was going to do, most of the time.

"You all need to shut your yaps before I..." Hermione's face turned even redder, remembering what happened the night before, when Draco had said that she was a goody-two-shoes.

She got up from her spot, and walked out of the Great hall. She wasn't going to let them tease her. She stopped a few halls down, and put her back against the wall, sliding down into a sitting position.

"Now you've done it," Harry said to the three boys.

George shrugged. "What did we do?"

After a few minutes of calming herself down, Hermione headed over to her first class, Defense Against the Dark Arts, which was being taught by Professor Lupin. She grabbed her books from her room before entering the large classroom. She took a seat in a desk near the back, where Harry and Ron wouldn't dare sit.

"I just finished with breakfast early," Hermione lied. Of course, it was easy to distinguish that she was lying. Hermione was a terrible liar. "And I felt like changing seats. Change is good."
