Hermione felt herself blush, except this time it made her face burn. She turned forward, and propped her head on her hands, covering her red cheeks. After a while, she pulled out her notebook and prepared to take notes.

"I don't know," Ron said, clenching his pen so that he left indentions in the paper that he was writing furiously on. "But I don't like it." Hermione soon found herself spacing out, staring blankly at her note-ridden page. She blinked a few times, and was brought back into reality. She continued writing down notes.

((Okay.)) After several long classes, Hermione was waiting impatiently below the ramp-like staircase of the girls' dormitory. She sat on the railing of the stairs, swinging her legs down beneath her. Her eyes were closed, and she hummed a tune. She didn't have a light, but she didn't need one at the moment. She wasn't moving, anyway.

Hermione's hair stood on end. She let out a quiet shriek, and fell off of the staircase railing, tumbling onto the floor. She landed on her stomach. She rolled over, and rubbed her head. "Ow. You scared the hell out of me."
