Damon looked down at his watch, not realizing that he had been there so long. He stood reluctantly. "Sorry for intruding." He said, a small smile sliding over his face. He absentmindedly fingered his ring. "I live right down the road, in the incredibly old mansion, so I'll see you around?"

Calyx sighed. "Its fine," She said, a little reluctant he had to go. "Uh, yeah. I don't think Max would like it if I kept him from you," She smiled slightly. "I'll check it out. Your house, I mean. See yah later,"

Damon laughed softly, leaning down to scratch the dog's head. "I'll see you around too, Maxi." He picked his large frame back up. "Bye, Calyx." He said, turning around and heading towards the door.

Maxwell got bored and started to pad away, but as soon as someone knocked on the door his fiery personality returned and he started barking like crazy. "Someone else?" Calyx asked, pushing Maxwell away and opening the door. "Oh hey, Damon." She said awkwardly, offering a smile. Max wagged his tail.

"Yeah, sure." Calyx answered, pulling out her cell phone. She handed it to him. Maxwell put his paws on Damon's shoes and looked up to him, ears pinned up. Calyx smiled.

"Awwww~" Damon leaned down to place Max's nose as he dialed his number. Somewhere in his pocket, his phone buzzed. "Um, oops." He chuckled awkwardly. "Guess I was wrong." He fished out his phone, pressing some buttons before putting it away. "On the bright side, I now have your number."

Maxwell whined, licking his hand. Calyx watched as he dialed the number. "Pfft. You tricked me!" She huffed, crossing her arms. Though she couldn't help but smile. "Just don't use up my minutes," She said in mock anger. Again, she smiled. Maxwell jumped up and put his paws on Damon's shoulders, just going above his head.

Maxwell licked his cheek happily. Calyx just rolled her eyes, arms still crossed. "Well your already here, and you obviously don't have anything else to do..." She said. "...So you'll just have to stay here. No, you don't have any say in this." She finished. "Max will make sure of this."
