"Ten seconds? Wha--" Calyx didn't have time to finish, she bolted outside. Maxwell was already running into the forest, so she followed. Being a track runner for a year really helped. After she was sure Damon wasn't following, she hid behind a tree and rested. Maxwell's tan, brown and black coat helped him bkend in the dirt and he looked out for Tobi and Damon.

"TEN!" Damon yelled, looking around. He decided not to cheat. "Tobi, go find." He commanded. The dog yelped once, taking off in an arch. Damon took the other sid, his long legs propelling him forward, but silently.

After Calyx had taked her break, she took off running deeper intot he woods. Maxwell followed. "Max, where is Damon?" She panted. The dog sniffed as he ran, and pointed somewhere behind them. "Good boy," She said, running until she found a small stream. She ran in it, leaving footprints in the mud on accident.

Tobi followed them, skidding to a stop when he found the footprints. He sat back on his haunches, howling loudly. Damon, hearing this, widened his arch until he was running towards Calyx.

Calyx stoppd noticeing a trail of mud. "God damnit!" She cursed, whiping the mud away. Then she heard Tobi's howl, it wasn't far away, either. She took a sharp turn left. "Max, go that way." She pointed. Max still had mud on his paws. He led a trail the opposite way.

Damon heard the thumping of paws, and he sped after the dog. "C'mere Maxi!"

Maxwell turned arounnd, his tail wagging. He let out a few barks of warning before tackling him. He licked Damon's cheeks.

"Haha! Gotcha!" Damon laughed, petting the dog. Tobi full out ran for Calyx, tongue lolling outside of his mouth. |

Maxwell let out a howl. He then began to pin him down, licking him furiously. He would not let him move. Calyx heard the howl and cursed. It sounded near. Damon was fast. She could hear the sound of rushing water, and went toward it. Soon enough, she found a large waterfall. She stopped to rest, panting. Then she heard Tobi coming near. She looked around, but eventually jumped into the water and hid behind a wall.

Tobi stopped at the waterfall, his eyes scanning the scene. He sniffed around, whining when Calyx's scent ended there. He climbed on one of the larger rocks, looking around.

Calyx tensed, leaning closer to the rock. She held her breath, and went under so Tobi couldn't scent her.

Maxwell started to run, but stopped. He was confused--where'd he go? Calyx peeked behind the rock and watched Damon near closer. He was frickin' fast!

Damon stopped, skidding in the damp soul a few feet before completely stopping. He looked around, deciding to scale the nearest tree.

Calyx turned back around and hid behind the rock. She tried not to make any sudden movements, fear that the ripples would give her away. Right ahead of her was a tunnel. She thought about hiding in it and finding out when was in it.

Calyx held her breath, and slowly went under. She started to swim to the tunnel, but some moving plant freaked her out. She let out a small screamand flailed around. Crap, she thought, gave nyself away! She lunged at the tunnel and dove in.
