Lewis nodded slightly, then crawled over to his seat, sitting down promptly. His seat was in the back, so he could avoid other students. Jerrad glanced back at Lewis. Boy, was he jealous. Brittany picked him, a kid whose name she didn't even know, and not him. Wouldn't it have been more comfortable for her if she had picked someone she had actually talked to?

Random crap. D< Worksheets on what they did last year. They're on the counters! ) Lewis stared, then glanced down at the papers on the counter. Obviously, they weren't supposed to write on them, so he got out his notebook and prepared to write out the answers.

Lewis only blinked back. Then he looked back at his papers, deciding it would be safer to stop talking. Putting two shy kids together wasn't always the best idea if they had to work together.

( WTF. o__O ) Lewis was almost startled when Brittany called his name, and accidently drew a line across his paper when he flinched. He frowned at his paper, but then looked up at Brittany rather than erasing the mark. She was more important. "Well," he started, trying to hide the blood in his cheeks. "I...would prefer to be away from people. They're sort of, uh, scary."
