Liam gripped Jasmine's arm in his hand, then quickly stabbed into her flesh and removed as much blood as he could in a couple of seconds, which was enough to last him a few days. He jerked back, not wanting to get hit by the girl he'd just drained. "Oh my god..." he tried to retrain himself from finishing her. "You taste...delightful."

Jasmine felt the pain when Liam bit her, and would have slapped him in the face had he not darted backwards. When she noticed Liam's reaction to first tasting her blood, she rolled her eyes.
"I had a suspicion that you'd say that...might as well explain." she murmured. "I have a medical condition that is referred to as some as 'miracle blood'. I have many times the number of white blood cells in my blood as per normal, which gives the blood magic healing properties...but also makes it highly addictive to vampires. Which sucks for me, huh?" |

"It sure is...delightful tasting..." Liam's hand twitched in attempt not to spring at Jasmine. He wiped the blood off his mouth. "So...where are you off to?" He didn't care honestly, but to keep things from getting too awkward, the easiest thing to do was start a small conversation and walk away slowly.

Jasmine, still thoroughly annoyed, just shrugged. The wings of the griffin retracted and were no longer visible. Which was just as well, because the blood of her neck had begun to soak into one of them.
"Wherever my mood takes me. Might see a friend of mine, might not. Just anything that doesn't involve having my blood drained by vampires like you." she said. "And I ain't telling you the friend's name, either. You'll go and bite HER if I did." |

Jasmine shrugged.
"You can never take chances with vampires...and I should know, because I've been bitten loads of times now." she said. "Even had some near-death situations, but I survived the lot of 'em. I might look scrawny but I put up one heck of a fight if someone tries to kill me." She demonstrated by shapeshifting into a Utahraptor, roaring, and turning back into human form again. |

Kyoko, an Angel of Shadows, was in a happy and content mood. She was travelling alone for the first time. She loved her half-brother, Dark, as if he were a best friend but he was extraordinarily over-protective and constricted Kyoko's freedom. He had finally allowed Kyoko to travel alone on her request. Kyoko was enjoying her freedom. In fact, she loved it. Strolling through the shadows, casually, she came into a lighter area.
THAT was when Kyoko's happy mood disappeared. She saw Jasmine with blood flowing from her neck, and Liam nearby. Kyoko felt the colour drain from her face.
"No...oh no...not you..." Kyoko breathed. Jasmine frowned.
"You've met this crazy vampire, Kyoko?" Jasmine asked. |

Liam smiled, "I suspect you remember me...how's your life as a monster?" He remembered the night he'd bitten her...he and her brother were fighting...blood was everywhere, and finally Liam ended the fight by injecting venom in her neck.

Kyoko shuddered at the memory. She did not directly answer Liam's question. Jasmine looked at Kyoko, incredulously.
"Wait...this moron bit you, too?" she demanded. When Kyoko merely nodded in response to this, Jasmine glared at Liam. "Did anyone ever tell you what an annoying, good-for-nothing moron you are?!" She followed her question up by shapeshifting into a Utahraptor again and hissing, |

Liam shrugged. "Most people I've killed have suggested that, so yes. Not like I care. And sure, I bit her...twice, actually. Nearly killed her the first time, second time I infected her...for some reason though, I have a feeling that she isn't one of me." It was obvious he didn't care If Jasmine found out what he'd done...of course, it was simply because he didn't see the girl as any kind of threat.

Jasmine remained in the form of a Utahraptor and hissed. Kyoko flexed her wings a little and blinked her dual-coloured eyes.
"As painful as that experience was, Liam...I found the help I needed to cure myself of the venom. I'm not a vampire now and I never will be, either." she said. Jasmine moved around and stood in front of Kyoko. She faced Liam and although she was in the form of a dinosaur, she almost seemed to be grinning.
"Good on ya, Kyoko!" Jasmine said, glancing back at Kyoko briefly before returning her gaze to Liam. |

"Not like I care." Liam shrugged, "another annoying young vampire is all I need. As long as you and your brother suffered over all...I think I can feel successful. Look, if you want to sweetheart, you can punch me." He said, stating the last part sarcastically. If she did end up punching him...not like it would matter. He was a vampire; nothing much could hurt him.

Kyoko shook her head and took a step away. Jasmine, on the other hand, grinned and ran up to Liam.
"With pleasure." she said, and still with her sharply clawed hands, delivered the fiercest uppercut imaginable into Liam's gut. The uppercut was so sudden that it caused Kyoko to jump back in surprise. Jasmine darted backwards and shifted back to human form. |

Liam put a hand to his stomach, then lifted it to his face to find that his hand was sticky with blood. "Well, I almost felt that...so it's obvious you're doing something right." The truth was, he did feel it; but although it probably would've killed a human, Liam found it to be a sharp pain that ended after a few seconds.

Jasmine laughed. Even Kyoko found herself smiling a little,
"Thanks." Jasmine said. "That punch was probably the most satisfying thing I've done all day. Almost makes up for the blood you've drained from me." Kyoko looked at the bite marks on her friend's neck, then raised a hand to where Liam had bit her neck all that time ago. The scars were healed but the Angel of Shadows remembered that time. |

"Well, to be fair, you are probably the most amazing thing I've ever eaten...and I suppose you could take that as a compliment." Liam looked at the blood staining his clothes, and frowned. "Unless you want to watch me strip, I'd leave right now." He turned to look at a small stream flowing nearby and wanted to get the blood out before it stained over completely.

"The most amazing thing you've ever eaten?" Jasmine muttered, then shrugged. "Not sure whether or not that's a compliment. Ah well..." She shrugged and looked over at Kyoko.
"I reckon we should leave this dude alone." Jasmine said. "Where shall we go?" Kyoko shrugged.
"Anywhere so long as I can get away from HIM." she said, pointing at Liam. |
