Samson turned around and stopped. Sara felt the leash tighten. She turned around to see two dalmations sniffing her dog. She thought for a while, and finally remembered their names. "Hey Spike, Chessy." She patted Spike on the head, and Samson put his rump into the air and layed low to the ground, positioned to play.

And then something distracted him. On a huge oak tree was a squirrel. Samson started drooling just looking at it. Sara knew what Samson was thinking. "Samson, no." She pulled on his leash, and straddled him. But it was all in vain.

Samson bolted off like a cheetah, Sara on his back, clinging to his neck for dear life. He charged at the tree. At the last minute, the squirrel skittered up the tree, leaving Samson to crash into the tree trunk. Sara rolled off of her dog, and held onto his leash. Samson got up and stumbled around. He then shook himself off like a dog would when he got wet, and licked Sara's cheek.

"Bad dog," Sara said weakly.

Spike and Chessy ran over to Sara and nudged her hand, whimpering. James enterd the park from the woods and saw Sara with her dog and his. James ran over and pushed his dogs away slowly "Hey you alright?" He asked as he ran his hands over her body examining for any scratches or bruises.

Spike and Chessy stood next to Samson as they watched their master look over the girl and the tilted their head and started licking Sara.

The world was spinning. Just like Samson, Sara had hit the tree. "Um, I think I'll be okay in about five minutes. I'm kinda scared to walk because the world is spinning." She let the dogs lick her. Samson put his head down and layed his ears back. It was his way of telling Sara that he was sorry.

Sara sat up, and brushed some leaves out of her hair. "Yep. That hurt."

Sara looked at James. "I hurt my head, and I scraped my leg on a rock. I'll be fine, though." Samson followed James and Sara over to the bench. She rubbed the back of her head where the sore spot was. She then looked down to her leg, which was bleeding a little.

She looked up to James. "Is it just me, or do we always run into eachother somehow?" She let out a small laugh. "So, do you want to tell me your name or not?"

James looked at her and chuckled "You never gave me the chance yesterday." He said as he looked at the back of her head.

Spike lick the wound on Sara's leg until it was clean from the blood. James smiled "im James." He finally said and sat beside her.

"Well, you've helped me out twice, James." Sara smiled. "Shouldn't I at least take you out to dinner? You know, to repay you." Samson soon jumped up in Sara's lap, and put his head in James's lap. He took up the whole bench. Sara was used to Samson's weight, so he didn't bother her.

"Sam, no," she said, pushing her giant dog off of herself and James. She turned to James, her cheeks red. "I'm sorry about that. Samson thinks he's a lap dog..."

James chuckles "Dont worry about it, Spike will jump on my bed and lay in front of me licking my face all day if i dont get up." He says laughing. He smiles at Sara "And to awnser your question, i would love to go out to eat tonight, if you dont mind." He added, while playing with Spike's ears.

Sara smiled. "Okay. Um, where would you like to go. I'm not really picky with food, so you get to choose." Samson walked back up to Sara and put his head in her lap. Sara patted him while waiting for James to answer.

James got up and looked at his dogs "Lets go to the steak house down the street?" He asked but without an awnser he left through the woods with his dogs following.

James walking into his cabin and grabbed a piece of meat from the refridgerator and eats it, James throws the bone to the floor for the dogs as he goes into the bathroom and gets cleaned up.

Sara watched again as James left. She sighed. He always had to leave when their conversation wasn't over.

"Okay," Sara said to her herself.

After about an hour, Sara had on a casual summer dress and had her hair flat-ironed so that it drifted down to her mid-back. She had taken a shower, too. She put Samson into the laundry room, and left. She drove down to the steak house and waited for James to arrive.

James combed his hair and walked to the steak house and walked in when he saw Sara, He walked over to her "Hey glad you came." He said as they walked to their seats.

James sat down after pulling out a seat for Sara. He looked at her not knowing what to say so he looked down at the menu.

Sara sat down as James pulled out her chair. She looked down at her menu and said, "So, do you have any family around here?" A waiter came up to their table.

"Hello, my name is Austin and I will be your server today. What would you guys like to drink?" He said, pulling out his writing pad and a pen.

"I'd like a blackberry tea," Sara said, glancing up at Austin before looking back down at her menu.

James shook his head "uh, i will have a sprite." James said and looked up at Sara "Do you have any family here?" He asked not knowing what else to say.

The waiter walked off, and came back with their drinks quickly. "Just let me know when you two are ready to order." He walked off again.

"Um, not right now," Sara said, sipping her tea. "They're over in Africa. They're wildlife photographers. They mainly photograph canines, but they do other animals, too." She smiled, and tapped her fingers on the table. She was trying to keep things from getting too akward.

James nodded "Thats pretty nice..." He said, he looked at her and smiled "I wish i knew my parents better, they died when i was just 6 years old." HE said has he took a sip of his drink.

James pretended to look over the menu, because he already knew what he wanted.
