I smiled warmly while saying,
"Very true..." Looking at her more curiously, I tried to pry. "While were on the subject... What else do you think of me? Other then a flying blood sucker that is allergic to the sun and can change the color of my eyes?"

I chuckled, knowing that if I was human, my cheeks would be red. I leaned down and whispered in her ear, "Whatever you say..." THis time just to see her reaction. Before she could though, I rolled my legs back on the couch. So I was laying on my stomach, but still upside down to her. [Itsalongcouchk?] I leaned my elbows on both sides of her so I could be propped up, my face above hers.
"Whatever you say."
I muttered again, more to myself while I thought.

Giving a fake scowl, I glared at him. ''That is soo not funny.''

"I thought it was."
I said. Then added,
"Song. I need to admit something..."
I shrugged. Hesitating on going further, "I don't think you love me. I think you love the fact that I saved you many times. You love the way I feel about you. But, I don't think you have those same feelings. So... Promise me you won't say you do. Getting my hopes up for nothing. K?"
I asked, saying every word probably too quickly for them to process. So that I wouldn't have to see her reaction to that, I closed my eyes and pressed my forehead against hers.
"Promise?" I whispered.

This was one of those subjects, that I couldn't just reply to by saying 'Whatever you say'.
"How do you know that Song? You could just be saying how you think you feel. Maybe your misunderstood. I dunno'..." I got into a sitting postition as well as she did.
"Then promise me you love me silently. As in, don't say it to me. Because any time you say it, I'll feel the need to deny that fact."

My breathing became heavier as we stared at eachothers eyes.
"As long as your sure..."
I said sadly. Whether she said it one time or a thousand times, I still refused to get my hopes up. She deserved someone human.

"Alright."
I said, enjoying how my name sounded from her tongue.
I noticed her yawn, and reluctantly said, "If I'm keeping you from sleep, you can tell me. I can busy myself cleaning up the place from when Lance was here..."
I shrugged while already getting myself up.

I tried to hide my happiness, as I settled back down.
"Alright."
I said with a smile.

I was born in the 1800's. 1888, to be exact. And... It was much more different. Women were forbidden to wear pants, only dresses - but that was more later on. There were no cars, no phones, no computers. Men had a much higher respect for women. Men also were the ones that worked. Women were to stay at home to take care of the kids. They weren't known for 'working', which is kind of stupid if you askme. You didn't 'date' people. You courted them. And, there weren't as many vampires back then. They've increased over these years. "

I found myself putting my hands on her shoulders, holding my breath.
"I...Uh..."
I sighed, and tried to calm myself down. Ironically, her blood was only half the reason why I acted this way. The other half was me enjoying her being so close.
"I... loved my mother..."
I finally croaked, hoping she wouldn't pull away. I didn't say anything about my father for - I hated him deeply.

"What about your father?"
I asked, resting my head against hers.
