I let go of her hair, seeing as that wasn't working, and put my hands on her waist, as I leaned my head down to see her eyes.

Sighing, I glanced back to see his back. If he started walking away or something, I knew I'd crack. He was only messing about not realizing, I knew it. He just insulted a god. Sure, he looked like one himself, but that didn't help... shaking my head, I turned it back around and continued staring at the interesting rock. It seemed to have a pattern. Or I had been staring at it too long.

I pressed my forehead to her, and said,
"I won't be able to control myself if you keep calling me that alright?"
She may think for the 'controling myself' part, that I meant as a vampire. But, I didn't mean it in that way.
