I've never tasted one before, seeing as I wasn't born in these modern times, but at least I knew something quick and easy to order for Song.

I chuckled at his way of explaining things. So, human food meant nothing to him... That must suck.
When he rested his arms on the table too, I leaned forward and gave him a quick kiss, moving back again just as quickly.

The second the vampire vanished behind the door, I said, "Find anything weird about it, just let me know." I wasn't stupid, and I knew it was possible the vampire heard me if he was trying to listen. But I had to have Song tell me if something was wrong with the food.
I couldn't seem to trust the guy.
