Suddenly, the beating stopped. I rolled my eyes to look up-I doubted I could move my head- and saw the hazy scene of something smashing the door down, then lunging at the man who had been beating me. I heard a scream, and hoped it was the man who had tried to kill me. The pain was still as intense- if anything, more so- but the screaming made me feel better.

[[LOL they don't. I was saving it for a cute moment. XD]]

I heard a voice, and saw the hazy image of someone kneeling next to me. I couldn't tell who it was, but I didn't give a damn. He'd just saved my life. I tried to say thank you, but alls that happened was I opened my mouth and murmered something incomprehensible, accompanied by splattering blood on him. Or, blood splattered, and presumably hit him.

I heard him say something again, but my head was full of a screeching noise that made it hard to hear myself hink, let alone him as well. I could still see him, but I couldn't see his face...I wished I knew who he was. I closed my eyes. I wished it didn't hurt so bad too.

I heard his voice again, but the pain was too much. I passed out.

When I woke up, it was morning. I moved slightly, giving a small yelp at how hard it hurt. propping myself up on my elbows, I glanced down at myself. The entire bed cover was stained red. Her leg had a wooden stick stuck in the bandage, and it took her a moment to realise this was probably because it was broken. The swelling in her ankle had gone down, though. Her entire waist was bandaged up, as well as her left leg and arm. She slowly raised a hand to her head and found a bandage there to.All of the bandages were stained a light pinkish colour. She swung her legs around, intending on standing up, but she never managed to swing them over. She moved them an inch and cried out in pain, this time rather loudly.

 I had bandaged her up while she was asleep, and I made sure to be careful not to wake her. Afterwards, I guessed she was hungry so I went into the kitchen and started making whatever I could find inside.
It ended up just being eggs and pancakes. Hopefully she liked those.
It was then that I heard her cry out. Immediately I dropped the egg that was on her spatula on a plate and ran over. I opened the door and went on my knees beside her.
"What's wrong. Are you alright?"
I've been asking that alot lately.

I opened my eyes. I'd closed them when it started hurting bad. I saw him face to face with me. My mind clicked. So he'd been the one to save me! He must've bandaged me up too, though, I thought. It would've made me lush if it didn't hurt so bad.
I heard him ask me if I was alright. I seriously wasn't, ut I wouldn't tell him that. ''Yeah,'' I lied. ''I'm fine. Uh, thanks...'' I looked ino his eyes. Man, he was damn cute... ut I didn't even know his name.

She may have said she was alright, but she didn't look like it. She was still bruised everywhere, it was hard to look at her without feeling empathy.
To make sure she didn't lose her memory or any other damage from the beating in her head, I asked,
"Do you remember your name?"
This wasn't a good test, because I didn't even know her name. She may lie thinking it was her real name from damage. I guess I'd just have to go with what she says.

Feeling a little dumb, I thought he might think my name stupid. Plenty of guys had made fun of my name, and given me dumb nicknames like Harmony or Melody, or Music. I was Song. So I countered y asking his name. ''I'll tell you mine if you tell me yours first...'' I said. I wanted to know it. It was probably something stupid he'd given himself, like Death or Killer.
