[[ I fail. Saying I'll give you a post 'tomorrow' ^^ -points at fail post- Now, more then a week later, I'll finally get post up. |D ] With a flutter of his crimson eyes, Edward (O_O lol...) led two other vampires behind him to the house that had Nicholas's scent all over it. Edward's been looking for Nicholas for... Years. A day ago, he finally got the waft of his scent and followed it relentlessly. The others had given up on wanting to find the betrayor - his 'nick name' around his old coven of vampires he stayed by - but Nich had killed Edward's brother in a fight to make his way out of the coven. It was payback time. The odd thing was, when the three blood suckers came to the house that had his scent, there was also a sweet, succulent, delicious scent of a female. It was then that they realized that the betrayor didn't live here. He'd been here, but they were not close to finding him. The other two vampires wanted to walk away, give it up. But Edward wanted answers. This girls scent was mixed in with Nicholas's. They were here together recently, even though the scents mingled together were faded. At least a night ago. The other vampires were turning away, but Edward shot them a glare that tore through there cold souls. "Follow me." He said in a raspy voice before turning, his jet black hair falling over crimson eyes. To get to the side of the window, he jumped swiftly from a tree that was inches from the window that led to the delicious female inside. Her scent made Edward's mouth water with desire. Wiping his tongue across his teeth, he looked through the window. Her blonde hair was facing him, so he didn't have to worry about her seeing him soon. And she seemed intently focused on her Sudoku puzzle, her teeth nibbling on the eraser. Without looking back at the fellow vampires, Edward opened the window. Now not worrying about being noticed. Because, he was from the window to behind the beautiful scented female, putting his white, cold fingers across her lips in seconds. Edward's lips came close to her ear, whispering in a hoarse voice, "I'm looking for the betrayor. Do as I say and I won't harm you. Or your parents."
He added her parents so that she would know that Edward wouldn't be afraid to suck the life out of them. If she smelled so tempting, he wondered how her parents smelled. Before even seeing if she would 'do as he said', the other vampires had already climbed through the window. Edward instructed them to keep her quiet before taking her from the window. From her parents. From her home city. (Or town. -forgot the setting-) From Nicholas. From any safety. [[Tell me if I should just keep going with what they'll do to her, seeing as I gave you nothing. xD I'd be willing to put more own. xD ]]

[[ That. That was the biggest fail I have ever made. ;-; ]]
Callie looked at her phone for the time. It had been 20 minutes since she started her game of Sudoku. "Well, Christ." She muttered to herself, frowning furiously at the scribbled on booklet. It was her first time doing the 'extreme' level; she wished she hadn't tried. But, once she had started, she wouldn't give up until she finished.
Callie started chewing on the eraser of the pencil, staring blankly at the page of numbers. Her mind worked on ways to make the puzzle work; nothing came to mind. She was so concentrated, she hadn't heard her window open. She felt the breeze, and gave a small shiver, wondering where it came from. Then, she felt a finger come down on her pursed lips.
Eyes wide in astonishment, Callie looked up at the person who threatened her existence, along with her parents'. The first thing she noticed were his crimson eyes. The first thought that came to mind was only a single word: Contacts. Cal didn't wonder how in the hell some stranger got into her room, she didn't wonder why he was threatening her, she didn't wonder who 'The Betrayer' was... She wanted to know who sold him those tacky contacts.
Callie was just beginning to process what was happening to her when two others climbed through her window. What the hell? It wasn't as if she had a ladder there. Did she? No, no she didn't. The mysterious men with red eyes, all of them, she noticed, grabbed her and pulled her away. Callie would have screamed, fought, bit them, anything to fight for her life, if it were worth it. She wasn't stupid; she knew she stood no chance.
Callie silently went with the strangers, not as if she had a choice in the matter. She figured good behavior might make them a little nicer, maybe feed her because she was feeling in the mood for fourth-meal. A midnight snack, something. At least a yogurt... On the fresh banana bread her mother had made that night. It was still cooling on the rack, just waiting for her.
Wait. I'm being kidnapped and all I can think about is the banana bread downstairs?? What is wrong with me?
[[ I tried, CH, I really did. ;c Hehe I really did nothing in this post but say that Callie was hungry. Fail. |D ]]

[[ Hahahahahahahaaa! ]]
Edward had put the female in a car to drive to the woods at the edge of the town. Nicholas's scent was on her, not as faded as around her home. They've seen each other recently. A lover maybe? Edward smirked at the amusing thought. Nicholas was a sucker for the forbidden. So I guess it wasn't that ironic that this forbidden lover was so appealing to him.
There was a ramshackle cabin in the center of the woods. Edward didn't need the female knowing just yet about the vampires, though he didn't care if she knew. He just didn't want to have to deal with the humans shock or questions. She was surprisingly quiet, so he hoped it would stay that way. Maybe she'd cooperate better then Edward had thought she would.
"Get out of the car."
His raspy voice commanded, opening the door. Edward didn't tie her hands behind her back, tape her mouth shut, cover her eyes, kept a hold on her shoulder so she won't run... If she tried running, it would take him a millisecond to catch up with her. He wasn't very worried about her getting away.
"I'm not in this too harm a innocent girl, Ed. She probably doesn't even know who the betrayor really is."
Edward walked away from the opened door by the female and went to the vampire. This vampire - Mark - was turning into another betrayor. Gradually. Feeling guilty for taking lives of innocents. That's why Nicholas had left the coven. We had never ending feeding frenzies. One after another, humans fell. Guilt had taken him away. Edward still wondered what he did for food. Just knowing that Mark was having second thoughts made Edwards eyes show anger.
"She knows the betrayor. She probably knows where he is. We'll get her talking."
Edward said in a more angry voice before turning his back and going toward the cabin, while the other two vampires stayed behind him but walked slowly to make sure the female would come.

Callie sat in the car silently, keeping her head down and her hands in her lap. They hadn't done anything to her; they hadn't even forced her into the car. They technically hadn't even kidnapped her, since she did everything so willing. Big mistake there! She was done for. They were going to kill her, she had no doubt about that. So much for paranoia.
Callie's eyes flitted over to the others in the car, wondering what they were all up to. She especially wondered who 'The Betrayer' was, and what he had done to the others. Surely it had to be something bad, bad enough to have killers after her to get to him, whoever he was.
Get out of the car? ... But, but it was warm in there. She didn't want to go into that shack. There were probably roaches crawling around on the furniture and termites eating at the floorboards. That place looked unsanitary... What if her dust allergies kicked in? She hadn't brought medicine, and she doubted they kept some in that cabin.
With a loud sigh, Callie got out of the car, noticing the short exchange between two of the men. Her eyes flitted to Mark curiously. She took an interest to him; he wanted to let her go. The other, Edward, not so much. She didn't know anything, so getting it out of her would be pretty hard.
The questions were almost overflowing in Callie as she followed Edward towards the cabin. She passed by the one from the argument - Mark - closely, almost close enough for them to brush arms. She wondered how he would react. Curiosity killed the cat... But satisfaction brought it back.

[[ My font stuff is working again, since I'm on Chrome, but I kind of like how my posts look without centering it and such. Kind of pro... xD #nomorefonts ;-;
You're such a poet. <3 Why does Callie want to keep brushing up against guys? Nicholas isn't going to like this... xD ]]
Once Edward came to the shack, all he did was wrap his cold, white fingers around the doorknob to the locked, rusted door and pushed. With his heightened strength, the door easily unlatched from the hinges and collapsed, causing dust to spread. Without turning back to the human to see if she noticed the ability he had that humans usually couldn't do so easily, he stepped into the room. Welcomed by dust(Just for her!), roaches, spiders, and bugs even Edward didn't know existed, he passed by them while swatting away any webs in his face because of his taller frame. He was about the same height as Nicholas, and Nicholas was over 6 feet tall. (And amazingly hot. And amazingly smexy. And amazingly gorgeous... And somehow amazingly humble.)
"Go on the sofa."
Edward said to the female before disappearing down a hallway. When he went away, Mark turned his head to see the petite girl right beside him.
"I'll try my best to hold Ed back if he starts making a big scene. We-" He meant the two vampires in the room at the moment. Not Edward. "really don't mean any harm to you." The other vampire who was much more quiet, was named Drake. He had the same blonde hair as the female, even was much skinnier and shorter then Mark and Edward, so resembled her well. Drake was also having second thoughts about staying in the coven. But seeing what Nicholas had fought through just to run away years ago, Drake was a bit unsure if he was brave enough for that.
Mark kept going. "Just do as he says like you've been doing, and he might be gracious. But if he puts a hand on you-"
Mark was about to let her know that he'd fight Edward, seeing as Edward might be tall, but Mark had a build of a wrestler. But that didn't really matter, since Edward's strength as a vampire was still much stronger. He didn't want to discourage her survival though. He didn't get to finish, though, because Edwards footsteps started coming back to the room. Grabbing her elbow gently, he brought the petite girl to the sofa and pushed her down so that she'd be seated before Edward came back.

[[ Maybe Callie just likes touchin' da boyz? >U hehe
But seriously.... ._.
And yes, I am indeed a poet! c: -Just kidding, I hate poetry- ]]
Callie stared wide-eyed at Edward as he broke down the door with ease. That door had to be ancient, the locks and hinges stuck with rust. Yet, this man, if he was one at all, had done it with ease. The girl couldn't help but wonder if it would be that easy to snap her spine in half, or crush her skull in. Perhaps pull a chunk of her muscle from her leg? Maybe they would torture her old school with a battery and spark plugs, maybe bamboo splints up the fingernails? Ouch.
If you didn't want to hurt me, then why take me? Callie thought sarcastically, resisting rolling her eyes at the 'nice' kidnapper. Her eyes drifted to Drake, as Mark talked. The resemblance was almost startling. If they were together in public, Callie was sure they would be mistaken as twins. Huh. Small world, eh?
'If he puts a hand on you'... As you shove me on the couch. Callie narrowed her eyes as Mark, but didn't say a word. Silence, for now, was the key to survival. Though, once they asked for information, she'd give them all they wanted to hear. The girl corrected herself on the couch, pulling her legs into Indian-style and crossed her arms across her chest.
It was then that Callie really looked at her surrounding. And man. Did they need a house cleaner or what? Bugs, some the girl had seen, some she had not, were crawling all over the floors and on the walls. Even on the couch she was sitting on. And the dust, oh the dust! Callie let out a cute, little sneeze after she smacked a bug on the couch, releasing a cloud of dust to float up to her face. The girl rubbed her nose, catching her breath.
Callie waited for Edward to come back. She sat in silence, occasionally flicking a bug on the couch, or her legs and arms. She was shivering from the cold, but demanded herself to stay aware of her surroundings. It was late, and she was tired, but there was no way in HELL that she was going to fall asleep with these creeps around.

[[... Why is the third paragraph italicized? O_O She doesn't think anything. Bahaha. I just like teasing you Vin, but I am curious. xD ]]
After setting the female on the couch, Mark stood next to Drake, following her motion of crossing his arms across his broad chest. Edward came back, and Mark was curious as to what he had done in the back room, but chose not to ask with the girl here. Edward walked around the sofa and turned to look at the face of the girl. His eyes were unreadable, but still a crimson red that glowed, illuminating a bit of darkness that was by his face from the dark shack.
Seeing as Mark could have been right, she might not know whom the betrayer could be, Edward decided to take a different route.
"We're looking for your little boyfriend, human. He was at your house last night."
His said, his voice still a low raspy one.
"Nicholas seems to be in a lot of trouble. His... Former family has been searching for him for quite a while, and finally have a lead. You. You know where he is."
As Edward spoke, his eyes only came more red, his anger less hidden.

[[ Oh jeez. I have no clue. o.o -Goes to edit-
And you're curious about what exactly? ._. ]]
Boyfriend? Hah! The last boyfriend I had was in 7th grade, and I was too scared to even kiss him! That didn't last long. And I still have never been kissed. That's embarrassing, now that I think about it.
Callie paused her train of thought and looked up at the man. She jumped as soon as her own eyes matched the red ones of Edward. At first, the girl thought he was wearing contacts, but now, she was entirely positive that they weren't. Contacts didn't continually get redder and more intense as they were worn.
For the first time that night, Callie was terrified for her life. This thing, it was not human. It had clearly called her a human, thus proposing that he wasn't one. It reminded her of the time Nicholas had done the same thing only a few days ago. Speaking of Nicholas...
"Nick is in trouble?" Callie's voice was just above a whisper, though she figured that the men would be able to hear her anyways. "I... I don't know where he lives," She squeaked out, her eyes wide with fear. "I've only seen him twice in my life, I swear!" She was close to tears now. They wanted to know where he was... She didn't have a clue!

[[ Curious as to why it is italicized...]]
Great. Now she was going to break down. That's the last thing he needed. Edward leaned down on the sofa, placing both hands on either side of the sweet smelling girl. "I'm not in the mood to play around. You tell me where he is or I'll drain you of all your blood!" At first he said it with a snarl. But, by the end, his voice turned into a roar. Mark was boiling with anger, inwardly. Drake stayed still, the idea of drinking her blood interesting him since he hadn't fed recently.
