[[ Thanks for bumping. <3 ]]
"Alright, human. I'm a patient man. I'll wait for you to tell me where he is. I don't have much time though, so I'd appreciate it if you would cooperate."
Edward growled, keeping unblinking red eyes on the girl. Though the words seemed patient, his tone was anything but. Just a menacing murmur. He's been waiting for this moment ever since he saw The Betrayer fight his way out of the coven, killing his brother in the midst. The pain at the memory finally forced him to pull his eyes away from the female, looking back at Drake and Mark.
He ignored the girl's reaction to how he said he'd drain her. She'd see that he wasn't kidding in due time. If she didn't cooperate.
________
I had planned to never see Callie again. Not because the sun was making me weak, but because when I had walked away from her that afternoon, I realized how dangerous and different I was. I couldn't bring Callie in the middle of my life. My life was too evil, and she was too innocent.
I could smell the scent of Drake from a mile away. He always had a distinct scent, even as a vampire. And the second it came to my nose, I had jumped from where I slept in my one story apartment, on the sofa, and followed. Not because I wanted Drake to find me. Not because I wanted to fight Edward, who I knew was with Drake.
But because Callie's scent mingled with there's in a way that made my knee's wobble with fear. They were together. What did Edward want with her? I left the apartment without worrying about the lock, like I usually did because I knew Edward would come for me, and followed the scent of Callie and Drake. Soon, Edward's came too. So I was right, Edward has come for revenge. I knew he'd do this. The look in his eyes when he saw Justin dead had made me run even faster. Edward was the type to want a fight, and that's what I'll give him. As long as Callie was out of it. I couldn't imagine how she felt right now. Probably confused at a bunch of vampire's around her. How many were there? Mark's scent came to my nose. Three. Good. Edward wasn't crazy enough to bring the whole coven or something.
As I had guessed, the four scents brought me to the outskirts of the city, where a forest started. Edward wasn't stupid enough to do this around people. I went in without hesitation, Callie's scent getting stronger and stronger. If I saw one drop of blood, I don't know if I'd feed on her myself or kill Edward for putting a hand on her. I don't know how much self control I had.
I didn't hesitate going to the ramshackle shack and slamming the door down. From the anger that boiled through me at seeing the three vampires that used to be my friends, I wasn't worried about my fangs not showing in Callie's direction. (You can choose if she see's them or not. That's pretty much what I meant to put but I didn't know how to say it. Like... He doesn't know if his fangs are out or not because he's not worrying about that at the moment. |D )
"Let her go, Edward. She's not apart of this."
Edward turned from facing Callie on the sofa to look at me at the doorway. His eyes became a glowing red, a desire for blood portraying all over his face. Mark and Drake made no move to stop him as he got up from the chair, but also made no move to hurt me. I wondered why they were here, if they didn't want a part of this. Mark's face seemed to stay at a frown, eyes on Callie in a more sorrowful way. Like he thought, either way, she wouldn't live through this. Drake kept his more gothic nature still in tact as he kept his eyes straight ahead, on none of the people in the room.
Edward came toward me and aimed his fist toward's my face, but I bent down at just the right moment for his fist to meet the door hinge at the doorway. I slipped beside him so that I was deeper in the room, my back to Callie, my fists clenching and wanting a fight. My eyes resembled Edward's as I gave him a crooked grin.
"Try again. We all know who won the fighting matches when I was at the coven."
I won. Every time. While Edward was known to be faster then plenty of the vampires, I was the one stronger then plenty of them. Me and him would always fight, for fun. But, I could always tell he tried harder and harder to beat me every time. But he was quite satisfied when I would lose every race compared to him, for his faster speed, so I thought it worked out. I guess the envy in his face now was proof that all 'was not worked out'. He came at me again, but I easily brought my palm to his fist, and twisted his arm. There was a popping sound, and I smirked.
"Let her go. We can handle this without her."
I said, nose to nose with the man I once called my best friend. He took his red eyes away from me and looked at Callie. For a moment, I thought he would agree. Tell Drake or Mark to take her home so we could handle this. But I shouldn't have let my guard down. Because the second my fingers unloosened on his twisted arm, he took my vulnerability as a chance to fight. He used but hands and grabbed on the fabric of my shirt at my chest, lifting me off the ground, and throwing me to the other side of the room, over the sofa, over Callie, over Mark and Drake, and slamming into the wall, going right through the wall, and flying all the way to the back of the shack. My back ached from going straight through one wall, and banging into the one I leaned on now, but I couldn't let Callie be alone with those guys.
"Get out of here, Callie."
I said in a weak voice. I hadn't gotten enough sleep from the sun. I was took weak to fight. But I couldn't let her down. I couldn't! The thought brought me to quivering legs, looking back at Edward with pleading eyes.
"We don't have to do it this way, Ed. Justin would have killed me if I hadn't fought. I didn't mean to kill him. Let's stop this-"
The speech was nothing but nonsense to him. He came to me and brought his fist to my face, forcing my neck to snap back before his other hand came to wrap cold, white fingers around my neck. I couldn't fight. The sun had weakened me too much that afternoon. Why hadn't I left Callie when I could have? This was all my fault.
"Don't hurt... Her, Ed. Y-you can huu..." His fingers tightened around my neck, but I kept trying to get the words out. "Handle this... Without her around."
[[You can powerplay anyone, or bring more vampires and stuff. Because this doesn't give Callie much to do. D: These scenes are always so difficult to play just one person in. So yeah. <3 ]]
