I tried as hard as I could to hide back my smile. "You'll have to find out yourself." And with that, I heard the bell ring. Taking my leave, I walked away from the table, and out of the cafeteria.

The second Paradise disappeared out the door, Adam took his chance and came up in front of Markus hesitantly. "Hey..." He said, looking around him a moment in a worried fashion before looking down at Markus's journal in his hand. "Uh... I have the..." He glanced up at Markus's eyes once but immediately looked back down. "Journal. " With a shaking hand, he held out the journal to Markus. "A-and, I haven't talked to Paradise either, just like our d-deal."

When Adam approached, Markus gave a cold smile. His crimson eyes flashing. "Good. Good." The vampire took back his journal and held it close to his chest, like he was 'afraid' it was going to be stolen again. "Do you remember the other parts of our deal?" the Greek asked.
