ooc; Okay, that is cool. A quiestion>> For the were animals> are they like were wolves in the scence that they change only at the full moon? Bic "More guards are coming," Phoenix told the others, Will they beleive me that I have turned to there side? she wondered as he long black hair swung freely in the wind. "I am.... I am not against you any more. " As she walked up to them she said, "You need to beleive me.. I can't tell you any lies, " she turned back and looked up at the sky, "and if you chose not to believe me, it is you who will suffer." ooc; I know the post is ultimately tiny, but I will gradually build them up as I go on. xD

OoC: I don't think they have to change, but they can choose to. I think of them more like shape-shifters. ^.^ And your post is cute <3 I just don't like posts that are under five sentences because that means they aren't even a paragraph, and writing a paragraph isn't that hard. Even with writers block.

Sumnor stood as the new figures stalked into their camp, "Well after the nights we've had tonight, we've no other option but to believe you, we could go with all the help we can get, definately with where we're headed..." He frowned slightly, considering the path he had lay for him and his comrades, purgatory was not as dangerous as hell itself, but it was not as safe as heaven, "You'll be following into purgatory if you join me." Sumnor then turned to Alix, "Well if you want a shower you're going to have no luck at all, there's no river's in this wood, it's the middle of winter, it will all be frozen." Dryac chuckled at the slightly cutting remark, he always enjoyed watching Sumnor get at people with little effort, it was always a joy to him, even throguh his childhood. Dryac stood, patting Sumnor on the shoulder before looking at Alix, "I know you used to be a wolf and I knowyou yern to be a wolf again, I have been able to smell it on you ever since i first came here. You needn't worry, I hold grudges against no race." Sumnor smiled, before walking over to Alix, who was still sat with the bag, before shoving her shoulder gently, but just enough to cause unbalance, "And I'll have less of the bare-faced-cheek remarks." ((Same as Eklipse, only my reason is there wasn't really anything to go on, I'll write mroe next post.))

OoC: Reu- ::tackle-glomps:: I am jealous of the Seven Sins Roleplay you created. x3 I would have loved to play either Lust or Pride, as you can tell from Alix, I'm pretty good at Pride without even trying. Lol~ I shall be lurking that Role play, 'cause it sounds so amazing. Ok, and now to post. I am going to make it super huge so we can be all amazing like~ ^///^ BiC All of Alix's senses went into over-drive as another being came into the clearing. The hair on the back of her neck raised slightly and she clenched her fists in preparation to a fight. As the being emerged from the darkness Alix took a quick intake of breath and scented the wildness of an animal, so she instantly knew she was a were-animal. Wolf by the spicy, pine scent, she thought. Her sapphire eyes sparked with inner battle when Alix looked into the amber eyes of a wolf. Yup, definitely a wolf. They were wild like the beast within, but they were also quick and calculating like a human. A deadly combination. Her slender figure seemed to be all legs and reminded Alix of herself. It was as if she had looked into a mirror, only where as her hair was a pale blonde this girl's hair was black as a raven's wing and the stranger's skin was slightly tanner than her own. The girl's cloths were smooth and clean, which brought Alix's attention back to her own disheveled state. Getting to her feet, Alix tugged at the hem of her embarra.ssing shirt. Glaring at her name, which was so stark white against the ebony fabric, she growled at the new comer, "So what are we supposed to call you? Good girl?" Her emotions were always running high, and with Sumnor's constant cool Alix found them even more riled up. Shifting her weight nervously from one foot to the other, she ducked her head shyly. "If you can't read, my name is Alix," she mumbled. When Sumnor languidly turned to her with a mischievous smirk, she knew something was up and she wouldn't like it. Sure enough, Sumnor told her how the river was frozen this time of year. No wonder I'm shivering all the time, she thought. It's winter here! Alix had obviously been taken far from her home because it was the peak of summer there, and the abrupt temperature change wasn't working well with her slim body. Just thinking about it being winter made Alix curl her arms around her torso and shiver. In an attempt to get warmer, she huddled in on herself. Glancing down at the pack Alix wondered if Sumnor had a hoodie or coat stuffed in there for her. But Dryac's rough, deep voice brought her to attention, especially when she picked up on the topic. "I know you used to be a wolf and I know you yearn to be a wolf again, I have been able to smell it on you ever since I first came here. You needn't worry; I hold grudges against no race." Alix's jaw ached and she realized that she had clenched it tight. Her face was pa.ssive, but inside her body and emotions took their toll. Then deep, so deep she almost didn't feel it, the pressure of claws slashed and fur rippled under her skin. Licking her lips, Alix whispered, "You knew all along? And you didn't say anything?" Pausing, she barely breathed the last, "You didn't kill me." Harsh by human standards, the Kattagarians liked to maintain a better quality of breed than your average lycan. So if a non-shifter, like Alix, was ever found out they would be killed on sight. Some even turned themselves in to die with honor, but that had never been Alix's ways. Being so young too, the Kattagarian clan had shown uncharacteristic mercy and spared her. Though, if any knew she still lived there would be a bounty on her head and any one taking her head home would become a hero. When Sumnor shoved her shoulder, Alix's first instinct was to rock back, then lurch forward, and push herself into the enemy, but she went the next best and flounced away. Head in the air, her sapphire eyes narrowed slits of amusement, she pouted her lower lip at Sumnor. "And I'll have less of the bare-faced-cheek remarks," he told her in that deep, smooth voice. For the first time since Sasha, Alix lifted her face to the sky and laughed. It wasn't anything loud or overwhelming, just a light, airy melody. Before she ruined the gentleness by smartly retorting, "When I stop breathing, Pegagnyx." A coy smirk teased her lips, "Admit it. You like it, too." Again she felt the presence of her wolf and softly called to her with her mind, but the flighty beast danced just out of reach again. The moment the she-wolf left, Alix felt like she was smacked in the face with a two by four as the blood lust fisted in her belly. Her canines' lengthened, and she experimentally ran her tongue over the sharp points. Three days and it feels like this, how am I going to make it, she wondered. Glancing again at the ebony haired girl, Alix paused before she asked anyone, "So what is this 'purgatory'? And how do we get there?" Then motioning with her chin, Alix asked the girl, "You coming with us?" OoC: Eklipse, that is Alix. Stubborn, sarcastic, and more than proud, she is one of the best characters I just created. I didn't have anything planned with her, she just come out of no-where. ^.^ Great, isn't she.

Sumnor twisted, stretching his back as much as he could, as the spells he was going to have to perform may cause him to stand around on the same spot for an hour or two chanting, not his idea of a good time. "Purgatory is like a limbo... all souls that aren't definable in one way or another end up there, it's like a courtroom.... only it's huge, never ending if you believe the tales..." Sumnor smirked as Alix made a few more remarks. "Admit it. You like it, too." Sumnor chuckled slightly, "Aye, I do enjoy your company... although in purgatory you may be kept busy by the level of combat you may have to face in order to get through there safely..." Sumnor chewed the inside of his cheek lightly, debating whether or not he should enchant what weapons they had... deciding against it, as it would take too much time and energy. "I think I might take the quick route to getting there.... although it's dangerous, raise your blade and be ready for an attack, demons and sould wait at these gates in an attempt to punish any who wish to tresp*censored*." Sumnor drew his blade, before slicing his palm and allowing the blood to drip onto the soil, before licking his palm to heal it. He began chanting old demonic words, words he had only ever read in a book, when learning to do everything he could, doing his utmost to be more than just self-reliant. "Now this is the interesting part..." He clapped his hands hard, wincing against the pain of the recently healed cut, as a big gash appeared in the fibre of the wolrd intself in front of himself, revealing a small army of hellish demons. "Follow and do as I do." He began twirling his katana either side of his body avoiding his jacket and body completely but beung deadly for anyone who got too close. "Once we get a bit of space, we fight properly." He then ran through the gate, shredding a few creatures as he did so.

OoC: Sowwy I forgot to edit my post. College has been keeping me busy. BiC Simply nodding to what Sumnor said Alix understood little of it. The whole thing sounded pretty far fetched, but she was a mythical creature what was she supposed to expect, a run-down club? No that would be too easy. Of course it would be some in-between place where demons want to kill you for entering, she thought sarcastically. She was obviously not very enthusiastic about going into this place as she crossed her arms and cocked an eyebrow. Deciding to not be a smart-aleck for once in her life, Alix licked her lips as she listened to Sumnor and actually planned on obeying him. This place didn't sound too friendly, and, though she didn't want to go, she wouldn't leave his back vulnerable in this fight. She owed him that much for saving her. When he was done explaining what she was to expect once entering, Alix couldn't help but mumble jokingly, "Really? I thought they would want to have a tea party with us nice folks." Leaning against a tree, Alix became entranced by Sumnor's sudden concentration. His molten eyes seemed to burn straight through her as he thought about something. Just as quickly did he get lost in thought did he come back out. His rough, deep voice became slightly accented as he spoke in a exotic language that Alix couldn't even begin to guess. Then, in a smooth, practiced movement, he sliced his palm open and let the blood all to the ground. Like a lioness locking onto her prey, Alix watched each drop as they fell in slow motion for her to the ground. The instinct to feed pounded in her skull to the point of pure agony. Her sharp canines bit into her lower lip as she kept herself from whimpering aloud. Her mind played out a scene where she flashed up to Sumnor and grasped his bleeding hand with shocking power. She shivered when the vision showed her lowering her head to the wound and slowly licking it. Alix could almost swear she tasted the blood on her tongue. Another vision lapsed over that one, but this time she slowly stalked up to Sumnor. He had seen the difference in her eyes and he had run, which he would never do in reality. But the wolf in her became insane with the need to chase, so she did. Alix hunted him like a wolf would a deer, and when she caught him there was such an overwhelming feel of power that her wolf slipped from her skin and Alix shifted for the first time in over ten years. Jerking awake, Alix looked around herself in confusion. That didn't happen? she thought. It had felt so real. Looking down at her hand she noticed that they were trembling. When she looked up again, sweat lightly dampening her brow, Alix gasped. She couldn't help it. There was a gaping hole in the air before her, and a small army of demons were within it. "We have to fight all of them," Alix stated more than questioned. Looking over at Dryac, she hoped that the lycan was joining them because it looked like they could use all the help they could get. When Sumnor jumped into the hole, Alix followed with a war-cry. She felt like she was falling forever and it scared her, but it was exhilarating at the same time. She couldn't stop the soft umpf when she hit the ground, though, because the impact was more than she expected. Her katana was light and leath in her hands as she quickly cut into the demons before her. Making sure to keep Sumnor to her back, she hoped he wouldn't turn on her, Alix kept the demons at bay. Dear Lord, save what's left of my soul, she prayed. I've never killed before... But now she slaughtered them. Demon after demon came, but Alix held strong as bile rose in her throat. The scent of rotten blood filled the air and actually helped her ignore her blood-lust, so she kept her full attention on keeping herself and Sumnor safe. Is that Dryac? she wondered what a black blur streaked by her. "Pegagnyx," Alix yelled over the roar of battle and clash of metal, "whatever we're doing here needs to get done. I understand how stupid I was now, I'm getting tired!" Tears prickled her eyes as fear ate at her mind as fatigue filled her limbs. Though she wasn't lusting for blood, her body was failing now without it. Cursing her for being a stubborn fool. Keeping her motions from going wild in fear, Alix tried to keep them as conservative as possible. She didn't want to waste any more energy than possible. I really hope he can get me out of this too. I don't even know why we're here! Wishing she had used her mouth wisely, instead of baiting him, Alix knew that she would demand answers from now on. OoC: I hope you like it ^.^ It's a little different side of Alix.

((Sorry for this slight powerplay, but it seems an amazing way to play it.)) Sumnor grabbed Alix by the ankle pulling her up so swiftly she didn't lose her balance, before throwing her over to Dryac who had flitted past them, being the black blur Alix had seen just moments before. "Put her somewhere high up!" Sumnor then began to let his more vampiric side take over slashing and carving, bodies falling to pieces, limbs and head littering the ground beneath his feet. Dryac ran up the wall, putting Alix on a high ledge before backflipping and transforming into his lycan form, landing and pounding the ground with his lycanthropic fist. "A mistake, taking us on." His claws were slashig and tearing, his claws closing on the occasional throat when necessary. One Demon charged a energy attack, but Dryac managed to cut it short by spitting into the creature's eyes, blinding it and making it fail in it's plans. Once all of the demons had been brutally slaughtered, demon-cide always seeming to happen whenever Sumnor was around, the two companions waltzed away from the mess, before Sumnor flitted up the wall, gripping Alix by the waist and carrying her back down, handing her the canteen on the way, "From now on we take your life seriously Alix, if I'd of lost you before I could even get us started..." Sumnor looked away for a brief moment, before regaining his composure and smiling warmly to Alix once again, getting them both back down to ground level, "Well I don't think they were expecting Pegagnyx and Nulgar to come through that portal." "Better for us, they'll be better prepared at the next gate." "We'll have Alix with us at fighting strength and the next gate, and I plan to give her telekenesis." "You should not take into that so lightly, Sumnor." "She is my apprentice, likelyhood is she'll be with me until either of our deaths, and in that case she will be trained before that happens, so she is prepared." Dryac nodded, walking off to scout ahead, clapping Alix on the shoulder before hand, smiling at her to show he was a friend. He began to walk into the darker area, searching for a good few moments before moving on, making sure no demons or other beastly creatures lay in wait for him and his comrades. This is idiotic, they're going to gather their forces at the next gate, not waiting for you to pas through. Dryac ignored his mind, continuing to check. Sumnor's ghostly uncle appeared once again before him, "Thank you nephew, you have already done so much that I am not able to thank you enough." Sumnor nodded, "I welcome your gratitude but save it for when we get you your body back." The ghost nodded to his nephew, before fading into nothing once again, "Fade to Black..." Sumnor muttered the words, before sitting and beckoning for alix to do so, "I'm sure there's something you wish to talk about, and there's a few things we need to talk about, but I'll let you go first."

OoC: Gah! I couldn't get on Res for a couple of days for some reason. It was so scary, I was having withdrawals! x( BiC With a very undignified squeak, Alix all but fall onto Sumnor, who then tossed her like a sack of potatoes to Dryac, who then run up a wall with her over his shoulder. Barely keeping the scream down, Alix's eyes widened almost as large as dinner plates..not really, but it sure felt like it. When Dryac set her down on a ledge, Alix was again thankful for her lack of fear when it came to heights. From her perch, she had a great view of the ma.ssacre. Oddly enough, Alix didn't like seeing the demons so brutally killed. Better them than us, though, she told herself, but her conscious didn't let up. It was finally too much and Alix found herself sitting with her head between her knees trying to keep from vomiting. The hunger was making her thoughts fuzzy again, and, added to the chaos below, Alix thought her head might implode. Then the surrounding silence made the echoing of her ragged breathing way too loud. "Hear that? That's the sound of forgiveness," she murmured to herself, "screaming then silence..."Lifting her head, Alix had two seconds to see that Sumnor was right in front of her, then his strong arms grabbed her around the waist, and they were falling. Looking at the canteen, which was dented from her tight grip, she wondered when it had appeared in her hands. Suddenly an overwhelming desire of blood filled her mind. Everything else fled. Nothing mattered more than tasting the sweet, coppery liquid. With a growl deep in her throat, Alix felt her teeth ache as an itch spread across her skin. Something completely wild stirred in her thoughts, but the moment she brought canteen to her lips the beast disappeared. As blood filled her mouth, Alix closed her eyes and groaned. The burning in her throat seemed to turn to ice, which was a major relief to her, and the pounding head-ache vanished as if it had never been. Even though she wanted to guzzle the whole thing, Alix pulled it away, and closed the lid. With a slightly smug, slightly satisfied smile she handed the canteen back to Sumnor. I just won't think about where that came from, that's all. When she actually started to understand the conversation again, having been momentarily distracted, Alix's brow furrowed. Telekinesis? Vampires can do that? When she thought about it, it actually made sense. It was why Sumnor knew things about her that Alix had never told anyone before. It would also mean no privacy. At least once I know how I can return the favor to him. And that would be helpful. Half the time Alix wondered what Sumnor thought, but she didn't have the slightest clue how to go about this telekinesis business. When Sumnor talked to some weird, nearly hollow thing she got kind of creeped out. Watching as he waved it away, Alix have a million and one questions fill her mind. As Sumnor sat and motioned for her to do so, Alix had a stubborn impulse to just keep standing but decided against it. She was a little weird feeling; a bit too light on her feet, almost like if she jumped she would never land. It was definitely unnerving. "Where should I start," she mused. "Oh, I know. What are we doing? Who, no, what were you talking to? Did we really have to kill all of those demons? How can you teach me telekinesis? Is it easy? Will I know it forever? Can I look into your mind any time I want or just when you let me? Could I keep you out of my mind? How often are you looking into my mind?" Taking in a deep breath, Alix was about to start again with more questions, but realized she couldn't even remember all the ones she asked. So she waited instead.

Sumnor scratched the back of his head, before straightening the chaos coloured, rear-end length black hair, deciding to answer the questions one at a time, "We're trying to bring my uncle back... he was a demon of sorts, only in human form, he could turn into one of the demons of old, two dozen feet tall, red skin with huge horns, all the powers capable, he would always use it when necessary, not seeming to enjoy being in the form, only using it for protection.... just a pity he was not there when what happened to my parents happened..." He thought for a few moments before moving on, "And it was my uncle I was just talking to, in his ethereal state... a ghostly figure more than ever." He smiled, amused by his own strange sense of humour, "We'll have to find an altar at the end of this little stretch of purgatory... a few spells and bang, he's back with us." Again he thought for a few moments, praying it would be that easy. "As for the demons, there's no escape in this place, I will have to chant for a solid hour to return us to earth, and no matter how long we would have ran, thsoe demons would have followed us and hunted us down, for only the sweet taste of flesh and blood.... the latter of which you can agree, is a brilliant relief." He stretched slightly, causing both of his shoulders to click. "When it comes to teleenisis.... yes I can teach you, I have taught Dryac, it is easy.... extremely so, You can only look into my mind when I do not have my barriers up, which is rare, but if you ask I will allow you private access... I don't know why but I feel I can trust you with everything, and one day I may need that." He smiled warmly once again, "And I hardly ever look into your mind, only when you look troubled."
He stood, stretching one mroe time before sitting closer to Alix, "Now it's my turn, what are we? I mean are we keeping the student teacher thing or actually making something of the time we've got? only I've lived for 24,000 years with only one relationship, and I usre want to be with someone when i finally kick off."

It was like information overload. Her head was spinning with all the answers she had obtained from Sumnor. He had answered all of her questions with surprising ease. I think...Well, at least all the ones I can remember. The important ones at least, she mentally laughed at herself for not remembering them all herself. He was so giving of information that Alix was almost hesitant to trust what he was saying, but she could taste the truth; a nifty trick most lycan's learned quickly. For the life of her, Alix could figure out why she could have these memory lapses yet still think about chilling past trials. When Sumnor had paused after mentioning something of his past, Alix found herself watching his every move. She had noticed a flinch in his eyes and how his voice got slightly rougher over the last words about his parents. His nervous signs were easy to clue in on; a stretch or a ruffling of his hair. Easy enough to pick up on if you were looking for them. It was just as easy with her. Alix knew that she would either shift her weight from one foot to the other or nibble on her lower lip or bit her lower lip, and for the life of her she couldn't seem to get rid of those habits. Even if they did give away her true feelings. It must have hurt him when his uncle wasn't there for him and his parents. Her legs becoming stiff from sitting, Alix stretched them out before her and easily touched her toes. She was as limber as a rubber band when it came to flexibility, but after the two years of practicing yoga with Sasha she should be. Alix had enjoyed the mind-calming and stress-less physical demand of the meditation. Sasha and she had created a pretty tension workout since they were a little bit more hardy than the humans. The result was quick reflexes and one heck of a high kick. Instantly her mind snapped away from thoughts of various yoga poses when Sumnor said, "Yes, I can teach you, I have taught Dryac. It's easy..." Everything before that had been a blur but Alix was willing to bet he was talking about telekinesis. In his accented, deep voice Sumnor continued, "You can only look into my mind when I do not have my barriers up, which is rare, but if you ask I will allow you private access... I don't know why but I feel I can trust you with everything, and one day I may need that." When he mentioned peeking into her mind, Alix couldn't help herself but to try imagining a tall, strong tower with locked windows and a single locked door. No more snooping old man, she thought, but she had no idea if this was the way about protecting herself or not. About to open her mouth, and probably never shut-up, Alix frowned when Sumnor stood up and stretched again. From his towering form above her, Alix could seem all the lean muscle that promised endurance and death if any tried to fight him. He was purely masculine, and his powerful, spicy scent filled her nostrils, which made them flare in an attempt to breathe more in. Wow he smells good. With a peeved thought, Alix wondered how he could smell so good after fighting the ma.ss of demons. I hope I don't stink. Her brow furrowed as she discreetly sniffed the air and noted no sign of her own scent. Good. As Sumnor sat down, a bit too close for comfort, Alix squirmed. Her fingers itched to stroke through his hair, so she clenched them in her lap instead. Jumping slightly when he spoke again, Alix stared with wide, innocent sapphire eyes at him, "Now it's my turn, what are we? I mean are we keeping the student teacher thing or actually making something of the time we've got? Only I've lived for 24,000 years with only one relationship, and I sure want to be with someone when I finally kick off." Like a fish out of water, Alix's mouth opened and closed a few times before she squeaked, "We...I mean you...uh." Licking her lips, Alix squirmed a little before saying, "Relationship?" Blinking a few times she couldn't believe the word had come out of her mouth. Sasha had hinted about having a serious one, but Alix had been too stubborn to be a submissive girlfriend. She hardly tolerated it when he opened the door for her, let alone having him tell her what to do. The farthest they tried was holding hands, and even that Alix had managed to make complicated. "I...um...did you," she paused, then burst out laughing. As she laughed Alix knew that it was a little louder than normal, but her mind was telling her to let some stress out before it imploded. After laughing for all of five seconds, Alix turned her sparkling gaze to Sumnor's fiery stare, her cheeks flushed with embarra.ssment. Noting that he looked so serious, she whispered, "Oh, you're serious aren't you." Biting her lower lip she stared at him silently for a moment. She thought about the time he had kissed her only one day ago and a blush rose on her cheeks again. I've only known him for two days, my mind argued. Come on Alix, he's just using you. Yet something was telling her different. That Sumnor would never use a girl, he just wouldn't go that low. He had his rules that he wouldn't break, and Alix knew on instinct that this was one of them. But she just couldn't understand why someone as handsome as he was, was interested in someone like her. Blond haired and blue eyed like many other girls, Alix was nothing special. Realizing that she had started to play with her shoe-laces, Alix turned to Sumnor and gave him a broken smile, "Come on, Pegagnyx, don't be yanking my chain. You have plenty of time to find some other more docile chic that's all lovie-dovie for you. Besides, what's 24,000 years for a vampire?" A long time, her mind stated firmly. "I'm sure you have a least 6,000 more to go." With a playful shove to Sumnor, Alix stood up. She wanted some distance with his vampire. He made her feelings go haywire and she did not like that at all. Alix was proud and self-efficant, not a softy-cry-in-you-arms wimp. Although, that does sound good right now...I wouldn't mind a nice, big bear hug...or a moment of silent cuddling. Tears of frustration filled her eyes and she blinked rapidly to get rid of them before they spilled over. What is wrong with me! When did I become so emotional and needy. Since Sumnor appeared. He was a very reliable shoulder to lean upon, so Alix's female nature naturally wanted to lean on him. I need to get a grip. He just feels responsible for me. OoC: Wow. I just realized that Alix is turning out to be a bit too much like me when it come to relationships, which is not good. I should have you knock her//me over the head with a relationship-brick. Then we wouldn't make things so complicated and stressful. Lol~

Sumnor laughed slightly at the obvious unease in Alix's voice, "We...I mean you...uh." he watched as her face changed ex pression repeatedly through her babbling, "Oh, you're serious aren't you." "Yes, oddly enough, for once in my life, I am completely 100% serious." He smiled his warm smile once again, noticing that it really was the first time his conversation hadn't actually been at least half joking. "Come on, Pegagnyx, don't be yanking my chain. You have plenty of time to find some other more docile chic that's all lovie-dovie for you. Besides, what's 24,000 years for a vampire?" "Well.... technically I'm one of the--" "I'm sure you have at least 6,000 more to go." "I could really live forever if I wanted to..." Sumnor looked at her, a serious ex pression played over his eyes and facial ex pression, the strange light of this world seeming to highlight the different reds in his eyes. "That's just it, I don't want a 'docile chic that's all lovie-dovie' I want soemone who can actually give me a purpose in life, actually keep my mind busy rather than the mundane I live through each and every day." He thought about what he was saying, if he continued this way, this would have been the first time he's ever opened up, even Dryac had not managed to get him to lay himself open. "Look... i don't know why but you're the only female I've met that makes me feel like there's ever possibly going to be anything there between us, and I'd rather let you know and allow you to make the decision than just sit back and let it all go to waste." The index finger and middle finger of his left hand scratched the knuckles of his right as he looked behind him to make sure Dryac hadn't returned already, greatly relieved he hadn't. Stop it... it isn't going to work, ignoring hisown thoughts, Sumnor continued to stare into the eyes of Alix, knowing his were uneasy, but not particularly caring, knowing that hers were also. He had always been closed off, and it took 24,000 yeares to make him finally open up to someone, but at least that someone was female.
