Cassie was happy to see Josh when he rang the doorbell. Ace would've answered it had he been there, but he left a few minutes ago. She opened the door and Josh was eagerly awaiting her presence. "Hey 1", he proclaimed. his eagerness shocked her for a bit, but she cooled down and let him in, closing the door behind him. "wow Cassie you look ummm.... comfortable?", he nervously asked. She nodded and grinned a bit. "Yeah, that's what I was going for", she replied. She led him upstairs into her bedroom and everything was still in it's place. She flopped down on the bed.

Josh pulled out his bag and pulled out her favorite movie. she smiled and rolled over. "Put it in !", she yelled. Josh looked at her and blushed a bit. Cassie busted out laughing after realizing what she'd said . Josh walked over to Cassie and tried making his move on her. He bent down to kiss her but she ducked away from him. "JOSH !! What are you DOING !?", she yelled. He backed off a bit but seemed upset. "You've denied me ever since 5th grade Cassie ! You know I like you !", he yelled back, then proceeded towards her again. "And this time I'm getting what I came for.", he slurred. Cassie was terrified. She picked up her phone and tried running by him. He left his right side open and she ran through it.She picked up the phone and called Kasey, crying hysterically. The phone didn't answer so she left him a horrid voicemail.

"Kasey ! Kasey pick up it's me ! Josh is here, he's trying to rape me ! Please help !", she left. Her voice had cracked from her high pitches and the tears she was choking on.

Kasey had fallen asleep but was woken up byt his phone ringing. He picked up his phone to see it was Cassie calling but the ringing stoped. He listened to the voice mail and quickly got up putting on a jacket and leaving his room. He rushed passed his parents and out to his car turning it on and pulling out of the drive way faster than he though he ever had before. He made his way to Cassies house and got out of the car slamming the door shut. He was pissed to say the least. He opened the door and walked in. He ran up to Cassies room and opened that door too to find Josh and Cassie. Cassie was crying hystaricly and Josh was obviously drunk. Really again with the drunk guys? Kasey thought but didn't think about it long. Josh turned to face Kasey, "She's mine ya know that." He said his words slurred beyond recognition. He swung at Kasey skimming his cheek which only mad Kasey angryer. Kasey punch Josh in the gut but Josh picked up Kasey which was kind of easy since he was taller than Kasey and took him to the stair where her dropped him. Kasey tumbled down the stairs but didn't run into anything besides a wall. "Ow." Kasey muttered standing up and rubbing his head. He looked at Josh who was making his way percarriously down the steps towards him. Kasey waited untill Josh was close enough for him to punch him in the jaw making him fall down the next smaller flight of stairs. Kasey bleeding from the back of his head a bit but no where else and Josh was bleeding from his mouth. Kasey walked towards Josh again as he was curled up in a ball at the foor of the stairs. He kicked him in the stomach a couple times his teeth clenched and his hands balled up into  fists.

Cassie found it hard to be able to watch anything. She sat upstairs, hearing everything that was going on downstairs. She crawled into her closet, shut the door and curled her knees up to her chest, finding it hard to breathe. she cried and cried the more she thought about things. She had no right to accuse Kasey of the things she saw. She curled up tighter into a ball, pushing a few of her clothes in front of her so she couldn't be seen. She could hear the tumbling of both boys down the stairs, and them fighting. She didn't want to hear or see any of it. She found a blanket and pillow in her closet, and layed down, still hidden by her clothes. She had calmed down a bit enough to be tired. She was still tightly curled up into a ball but somehow found it easy to close her eyes and drift off to sleep.

Kasey stoped kickinf Josh and somehow got him out the door. Kasey shut the door and locked it so he couldn't back in. He found a mirror and wiped the back of his head so that it bleeding for the moment but other than that he just had a few bruises hear and there. He walked up to Cassies room and knew she was in the closet since everyother door was open. He slowly opened up the door, "Hey. Cassie?" He whispered before kneeling down in front of the closet. He saw a bit of Cassies golden hair and tucked it behind her ear. Since she wasn't crying he figured she was a sleep. He carefully moved the clothes that were hiding her away and picked her up setting her down in her bed and setting her covers down on top of her. He walked over and stoped the movie that was playing and put it back in it's case  before sitting down next to her and feeling her hair softly. He had missed that all day and he was so glad that she had called him. It was too bad that she  had she be about to be raped for her to call him but Kasey wasn't thinking about that at the moment.

Cassie could hear someone coming up the stairs, but only faintly. She was half asleep, but didn't have the courage to move. She could feel someone touching her, and remembered who's hands they were. She whined a bit, as she was lifted up off the ground and set down into her bed. She tossed her body around and tightened her grip onto Kasey. "Stay....", she whispered. She didn't open her eyes but knew he had heard her.

Cassie fell asleep quickly and didn't wake up for the next few days. She had been so exhausted and so tired that it had kept her asleep for 2 whole days. She finally woke up on that Friday around 6 p.m . she woke up and looked around her room. Nothing was out of the ordinary, so she got up and went downstairs. She noticed Ace wasn't home but that wasn't irregular. She yawned a bit and realized it was about dusk outside. She looked out the front door and kids were just returning home to their parents. She closed it, locked it, and turned back around to head to the kitchen.

Kasey had gone to school that day just like he had the other days Cassie was still sleeping. He kept his distance from all the girls at school and even intentionally got sent to the principals office one time just so that he could be sure he was well away from any girls that would even try to tempt him. He dove back to Cassies house after school and when he found the door locked he smiled a bit hoping that Cassie had goten up that day. He knocked on the door, "Cassie it's me." He said clearly heard through the door.

Cassie looked at the clock on the wall and knew school was letting out right about now. She knew Kasey would be over soon. she walked over to the couch and layed down before hearing a loud knock on the door. She knew it was Kasey. She heard him speak through the door and went to unlock it. "Hey", she spoke, as she unlocked the door and flung it open slowly. She saw him standing there smiling, but she didn't know why. she grinned back at him .

"I'm glad your awake now." Kasey said. He wanted to kiss her on the cheek or something but felt that after a couple days ago that might be too much. He was suprised that she wasn't crazy by now since this hadn't been the first time something like this had happened to her but Kasey was glad that she had called him to help her out. If something that tramatizing had happened to Kasey he wasn't sure if he could trust anyone afterwards.

Cassie basically jumped in his arms, wrapping her arms around his neck, and squeezing him tightly. She stood up on her tiptoes and kissed his cheek. She closed her eyes and snugged up close to him, laying her head down on his chest, listening to his heartbeat. She wanted to speak but her voice was gone right now. She had been sick and hadn't realized it. She stood there for a few minutes before letting him go lightly.

Kasey kissed Cassies cheek back happy to see that she wasn't depressed. Kasey set down his backpack by the door and picking up Cassie in his arms like she was a child and sat down on the couch with her in his lap, " I love you." He said a sincer smile on his lips as he looked into her eyes. "How did I ever get someone as beautiful as you?" He aske a loud kissing her cheek again.
