Cassie woke up the next morning and ran to the bathroom. she lifted her shirt to no bump or little lump but she was still super excited. she bit down on her bottom lip and pulled her shirt back down. Cassie walked back into the hallway and noticed Ace wasn't in his room. There was a note in his bedroom door. She removed it and read it.
"baby sis, you've grown so much since we were little and now I think it's time we part ways. I'll always be there if you need help but i'm movinb out. I know that Kasey will take good care of you. Don't worry though I bought an apartment 3 blocks down"
Love Ace.
She smiled and opened the door. On the floor in the middle of the room was a teddy bear and a note. Sh walked over and picked it up. " let the little guy have my room."

Kasey woke up a bit later to an emty bed with just him in it. He wasn't concerned but was really hungrey so got out of bed to make breakfast for him, Cassie, and ultimatly the baby. He walked into the hall to see Ace's bedroom door open and walked over seeing Cassie holding a small teddy bear and a not in the middle of an empty room. He smiled a bit and walked over to her putting an arm around her, "He left eh?" He said reading the notes. Kasey had to admitt(and it wasn't very hard to) that he was going to miss Ace. He was a pretty cool guy.

Cassie smirked a bit at the note but knew Ace would be happy. She heard Kasey walk in and turned her body towards him. "oh...yeah he left. I guess he's been planning this. Ace wouldn't give just anyone the teddy bear he got from mom and dad", she explained. She turned and held onto Kasey.

((Sorry I was gone for so long guys. I had problems with my grandma being in the hospital for a couple days(nothing serious we just wanted to make sure she would be OK) and then I was at my friends house but yeah I'm back now.))

Kasey gave Cassie a quick kiss on the toop of the head noding slowly, "At least he lives close by." He said. "So what do you want for breakfast? My treat." Kasey said.

"Surprisingly, I'm not hungry. yeah shocking for the pregnant lady but I'm not", she grinned. Cassie didn't exactly want anything than to go back to sleep but she knew that was the worst thing for her to do right now. She walked out of Ace's old room and down the stairs. She opened the door to still see snow on the ground. "Nowhere to go", she thought, annoyed. She liked the snow but it cut into her girl time. She wanted to go shopping but the snow was everywhere. She gave herself a pout face and turned right back around and closed the door. She walked into the kitchen and sat down on the bar stool. She put her head down onto the counter top. Since the counters were made of marble it made her head really cold, which felt nice for her. "Yeah I guess breakfast sounds fine, but it's up to you. I don't mind anything", she replied to his much earlier question.

Kasey walked down stairs with Cassie and sat down on the couch watching her look out the door at the cold white world outside, "The road sweepers should be coming around soon. I could maybe drive you to one of your friends house and I could go hang out with some of my friedns. We both havn't hung out with are friends latly and I think it might be a good idea before your pretty much house bound because of the baby." He said. "How about french toast. That sound like something you would eat?" He asked.

Cassie nods in turn to him and is super excited about going to her friends house. "I can drive myself don't worry", she replied. She was a big girl and knew that Kasey was only wanting to help. She knew she would depend on him a lot when the baby comes so she would let him loose for a bit. Not that she had a leash on him holding him back but maybe just give him some space. "And yeah french toast sounds amazing!", she proclaimed. She loved Kasey's french toast because he always knew how to make it for her. She sat on the bar stool quietly while Kasey prepared everything.

"Alright then." Kasey said letting out a releaved smile. He had wanted to hang out with the guys for quite some time but things all ways got in the way like Cassie getting sick and then he didn't feel right leaving her side so he was stay untill he thought she might be alright and then something else would come up and the process would repeat. He loved Cassie but he hadn't been away from her in  months and he needed some space just for a while. He got out two bowls and a pan along with eggs, white bread, butter, powder sugar and syrup. He cracked a couple eggs into a bowls and beat them togather before drenching two pieces of toast in the mix and setting them down on the pan which had a thin coat of butter on the inside. As the toast cooked Kasey washed his hands free of the egg and got ou two plates and set one down in front of Cassie and the other right next to her where he would sit. After the french toast was done cooking her set one piece down for each of them and sat down at his spot putting some powdered sugar over his and drenching it in syrup.

She watched him work patiently and as quiet as a mouse. She looked at him make all the food and then finally set the plate in front of her. She smiled and began eating. Of course she went straight to the french toast but still ate almost everything else. She decided to save what she had and she got up to put the rest back in the fridge. She looked back at Kasey and grinned. "I think i'm gonna go get ready for today", she replied. She walked upstairs and walked into her room. She pulled on her favorite skinny jeans, knowing this would probably be the last time she could wear them until after the baby. She threw on her black sweater and an overcoat. She walked back downstairs and grabbed her scarf.

"Alright sounds good." Kasey said as he finished off his plate and put the goopy syrupy mess in the sink and rinsed it off before putting it in the dish washer. After that he whent up stairs just as Cassie walked out of the closet and he couldn't help but smile and pull her into an embrass his hands around her waist, "You look gorgeous." He wispered in her ear befor letting go and going into the closet to change. He put on warm long sleeved white shirt underneath his 49ers jersey since it was sunday, a football day, and also a pair of worn down jeans. He put a sweat shirt over that and walked out of the closte and downstairs where Cassie was. He picked up his key's, "I'll miss you." He said givving her a slow but short meaningful kiss on the lips.

She smiled as a pair of hands embraced her softly. "Thank you", she whispered back. She walked downstairs and grabbed her keys. She looked at him and smiled. "I'll miss you too", she spoke but was cut off just afterward by his kiss. She wrapped her arms around him and then opened the door. Her brother's mustang was there. She forgot that he had bought a new car and hit herself on the head lightly. She walked over and opened the door. The engine revved right up as she turned the heat up lightly. She looked over at Kasey's door which was glued shut from the coldness. She giggled a bit to herself, blew on the window and wrote "I love you" on it. She then backed out of the spot and headed down the street.

Kasey looked from his door to Cassie and let out a small quiet laugh as he watched as she drove away. He turned back to his door and began to tug on it before finally the door swung open. He got rid of what ice he could from the door before shutting it and turning up the heat. He pulled out of the drive way and over to his friends house on the oposite side of town. He pulled up in the drive way and got out of the car and knocked on the door. His friend Rob opened the door and smiled, "Hey look who showed up>" He said pulling Kasey into the front room and shutting the door behind him, "So ya dump that needy *censored* yet?" He asked sitting back down on the couch where two other guys were sitting. They all turned around to look at Kasey. "Uh no...." Kasey said looking at them strangely. He didn't know they thought she was that way. "What makes you think she's needy any way?" He asked. He didn't really feel like sitting down for obvious reasons, "Oh well...ya know she got knocked up loads of times before you were ever at this school so I just assumed she was a needy *censored*." Rob shrugged and turned back to the game auto maticly standing up and yelling, "TOUCHDOWN!!!" Kasey started shaking his head slowly and clenching his teeth together, "Well first off she didn't get 'knocked up' because she wanted too, she was raped and second she isn't needy. If she were needy do you think she would ever let me leave the house." His voice was elevating into a yell. Rob got up and walked over to Kasey and put his hands on his shoulders, "Dude I hate to break it too ya but this is the first time you've been out of the house in like two months." He tryed to calm Kasey down but it wasn't working. Kasey shook off Rob's hands, "And you think thats because she made me stay? Well no it wasn't I chose to stay with her, you know why? Because she needed me OK." Kasey  walked out the door and got back in his car and drove away.

Cassie turned on the radio quietly and kept her hands still on the steering wheel making sure not to move to much. Her mustang had quite a tight power steering on it, so any sudden movement would flip the car. She took in deep breathes because driving on ice made her really nervous. She finally arrived at her friends house and all three girls already there jumped out of the house and came hugging her. "Omg we've missed you like so much!", they exclaimed. They had all heard about Cassie's wonderful baby news, so immediately their hands went to her stomach. "You don't even show yet", one girl proclaimed. Cassie smiled and showed them all pictures of the ultrasounds. All the girls awed and oohed at how cute the baby was. After a few hours Cassie decided it was best to leave. All girls hugged her goodbye and Cassie got into her car and headed home.

Kasey was sitting on the couch at home watching the football game by himself. He was still pretty angry at the people he called his friends but something in the back of his mind said maybe he was over eacting but Kasey didn't that one bit. He had several small bowls on the coffee table with chips, dip and chicken wings. He would stand up and cheer on his team 'Booing' the other team if they scored a touch down. Allthough he wasalone it was still pretty fun. After the game ended he put the dishes in the sink and just sat on the couch watching whatever was on T.V. "I still have some other friends...like Micheale...back home in NewYork...." Kasey was trying to think of any other guys he could hang out with but couldn't find any that seemed like much fun.
