Cassie had already begun kicking her clothes off as Kasey rushed downstairs. "I bet you all forgot I made house calls", the doctor laughed. He saw Kasey bundled up, and ready to go out into the bitter cold. "No need for all your layers, now go take them off. I'm here now. No wandering off into the cold", he chuckled a few more times. The doctor began walking upstairs and took the first door on the left. "There she is", he possessed himself to say, looking at Cassie already back into the bed. She looked at him, still a bit pouty faced but soon relaxed. "I bet your excited to see him or her huh momma", he teasingly asked. He chuckled a bit more, at his own jokes of course. No one else laughed at them so in his senile but yet calm years he figured why not laugh at his own while he still can. Cassie loved his jokes. She thought he was a generally funny person so she laughed as well.

Kasey followed the doctor back up into the bed room and sat down on the other side of the bed. He took hold of Cassies hand and picked it up to his lips as he looked at the portible monitor that the doctor brought. The doctor started putting some cold gell on Cassie stomach after he had hooked up the equipment and had started smotthing it around on Cassies stomach with a little hand helled camera/stethiscpe thing.

Cassie smiled, and grabbed onto Kasey's hand. She had gotten really nervous and couldn't contain her excitement for much longer.
"So what is it", she begged to know. The doctor continued looking at the screen. He was checking the heart rate as well and other things that doctors did. "you guys are very lucky", he pronounces. "It is indeed a boy", he proclaims. Cassie had never been so happy. He told her about how the heart rate was higher than the girls typical heart rate in the womb.

Kasey smiled down at Cassie when the doctor said it was going to be a boy. They had left the bedroom door open and Vali decied to come in when he heard the excitment his tail wagging. He got up onto the bed and layed down at the foot of it and looked up at Cassie with a sort of wolfish smile on his muzzle.

Cassie patted the wolf's excited head and calmed him down in a few seconds. She sighed of relief. The doctor got up, gathered his belongings, and then proceeded down the steps with Kasey following behind. Cassie stayed in the bedroom. The doctor stops, turns around and whispers to Kasey in a slightly concerned voice. "That boy will do great things...at great risks", he lightly speaks. He then leaves the house. Cassie steps down a few stairs and looks at Kasey. "everything OK", she asks.

Kasey shut the door behind the doctor very confused by he said. What is he some sort of genie? Kasey thought ot himself before he heard Cassie at the top of the stairs, "Yeah everyhting is alright." He said. He wasn't sure if it was though. For the time being it was at least.
Kasey walked back up the stairs andinto the bed room and he flopped down on the bed, "I'm so glad it's boy." He said sitting up and looking at Cassie in the doorway. He smiled getting up and walking over to her holding her close and giving her a kiss on the lips. |

Cassie smiled back at him. "I know it's so great", she grinned a little bit more. She walked over and put on more clothes. "Time to go shopping", she smiled. She threw on her jeans, a long sleeve shirt, a jacket and her favorite floral scarf. She was ready to go and waited for Kasey. She sensed a tiny pain in her stomach but ignored it, thinking maybe it was gas or something.

"OK." Kasey said and put on a sweat shirt before walking down stairs with Cassie and helping her into the car. He drove them safly to the clostes Baby's R US store and got out of the car with Cassie and picked up a shoping cart on the way in.
They got some dissapoving glances from some of the poeple in the store, "Well I glad no one seems to be judging out situation at the moment." Kasey said sarcasticly. Truthfully if he wasn't with Cassie and they didn't have a kid and he had come to a store and seen two teenagers one of them being pregnant he probably would have done the same thing but it still didn't feel to great. "What color should the room be?" Kasey asked as he ignored the glances. "Blue seemes a bit...over used...but if tats what you want thats fine with me." Kasey quickly added the last part. |

Cassie noticed the stares and glances but she continued smiling. No one would know her situation so why give them the fuel of looking at her. It would only engulf them in their wonders of how it all happened to Cassie. She looked at all the colors of the rooms, and continued looking as she heard Kasey's remark. "I like green, and yellow", she responded lightly. She thought blue was a little passe so she went with something a little less ordinary.

"OK those two colors sound good." Kasey said as he put a couple cans of yellow and green pain into the cart. Next they went to the crib aisle to pick out a crib, "How about this one?" He asked looking at a well sized crib that came with it's own mobile with green and yellow fish on it.

She squealed and ran to it. It was perfect for the baby. The cherry red wood, the green and yellow fish, the soft material. Cassie couldn't look away from it. This was the perfect crib and no matter how much it was she was buying it for the baby. No if's ans, or buts about it ! She turned and looked at Kasey with the biggest bluest puppy dog eyes she could make. In the end it didn't exactly make her look sad but it sure got Cassie her way. She eagerly awaited his response, just anxious to hear his answer.

"Sure." Kasey said, "Anything for you." He picked up one of the boxes and put in into the cart, "What do we need now?" He asked unsure what else the baby would need.

Cassie thought for a few moments and then decided to go up and down each aisle and choose something. They started from the first aisle and made their way down. There were still people glancing and making crude remarks but Cassie smiled, happier than ever. She wasn't going to let anyone ruin this day for her, nor this pregnancy for her. This was going to be her one and only child. She blushed a bit and thought back to Kasey and hers first night. She couldn't help but turn red. "Maybe one won't be enough for us", she thought to herself. She blushed more and grinned, thinking about it. For right now though, things were perfect.

Kasey trailed behind Cassie with the cart that was filling up with aby's supiles like diapers, bottles, toys, play pens, clothes, toys. By the time they had looked through all the aisles they cart was filled to the brim. They walked to the cash register and payed for the things and Kasey put the items into the car and helped Cassie into her seat before they drove back home. Kasey unloaded the car and helped Cassie inside once they got home.

Cassie was completely exhausted when she got home. "He's getting so heavy", she grunted. She was playing a little bit but by the time she relaxed and sat down, she had noticed it. He had shifted his position and was no longer in the middle of her stomach. He was moving around in all sorts of positions. "Yup, he's awake all right", she teased. The pain in her stomach before had been him moving around inside of her. He was quite the athlete if he was already moving around like that. She grinned and layed down. Valli arose to his feet and layed down next to her on the couch.

Kasey smiled at Kassey and sat next to Vali who was inbwteen him and Cassie, "I think the dog..." Vali looked at Kasey, "Sorry wolf, is getting in between us." Kasey siad jokingly. He reach over and took Cassies hand and held it tight, "I love you so much." He said.
