((It's fine)) "Aww...you two look so cute together." said the nurse as she looked at the both of them holding each other's hand. Kasey heard the voice and his brows drifted together in a confised exprestion thinking that the voice was part of his dream. He opened his eyes and his vision began to focus to see the nurse standing at the end of the space inbetween the beds. He was still sitting up and his neck was cramped a bit because he had slept with his head tilted till it was on his shoulder. "Oh... sorry to wake you guys up but I just thought you two might want some lunch." she smiled at the two of them. Kasey looked over at Cassie, "Do you want lunch?" he asked. He wasn't quite hungry but he could always eat. ((Sorry that took so long I was on the phone with my Grandma)) |

((lol no worries :P )) Cassie could hear voices playing out in her head but she ignored it, thinking of it nothing more than a dream. Then she heard Kasey's voice. She smiled a bit in her sleep at the osund of his voice. She then began to wake up, feeling her hand being confined, she remembered she was holding his hand. She abruptly let it go. "omg i'm so sorry Kasey !", she gasped. She woke up fairly quickly and looked at him, then calmed down a bit." Yeah....lunch sounds great.", she said and she smiled at him. |

Kasey didn't want to llet go of her hand but didn't want to act...desperate. Thats never a good thing. "OK lets go." He said standing up and runing a hand through his ahir that was proabably messed up because when he sleeps his head tends to turn a bit. "I can go get our lunches and bring them back here if you hurt to much. I wouldn't mind." He said. The nurse had retreated back into her la
yer and shut the door to do some work he guessed. His head wasn't throbing anymore and his stomach didn't feel as if he had been crushed by an anvil. The sleep must have helped a lot. Wait. It's lunch time now and they fell asleep about half way through first period he would say. They slept a while.

Cassie saw the reaction on his face when she had let go, so she decided to hold it again. "I'm pretty sure it still hurts so i'll hold it some more.", she smiled. she watched as he ran his fingers through his hair and she shuddered a bit. She was kinda cold but the looks of him sent chills down her spine in a most inticing way. She blushed at her perverse thoughts and shook them off. "Yeah sure let's go get lunch. ", she smiled. She looked at the clock and then noticed as well that they'd slept awhile. "He held my hand the whole time...", she thought to herself then as they walked out she caught a faint whiff of him. He smelled so nice.

"OK thats fine by me." he said when she took his hand again. It was definatly OK with him. He walked with her out of the office and towards the caffiteria. Good for them the line wasn't too long since most of the kids had allready gotten their lunches and were either sitting down at the tables set up inside, on the stage, or outside. He waited with Cassie in line to get lunch. As they got to the front Kasey pointed to the pizza and handed over the correct amoutn of moeny. He took the pizza, 'If you need me too I have extra money to pay for lunch." He said still standing next to her. |

"No worries actually, they know me quite well here So I kinda get stuff for free.", she smiled and took the salad. "good evening Ms. Catherine!", the lunch lady said. " Good evening Ms. Margaret, this is Kasey. He helped me out with the "David" situation. ", Cassie glimmered. Margaret giggled quietly to herself and waved them off. "She's very nice. She's an old family friend so for me it's kinda easy.", she explained as she took hold of the ranch and poured it lightly onto her salad. " I know almost all the kids here as well but ever since David i've kinda shoved them away.", she frowned, but then perked up as Lily approached her. "Hey Cassie !", she spoke as she was eyeballing Kasey. "this your boyfriend?", she asked nervously, hoping Cassie's reply wasn't what she thought it was. Cassie didn't know what to say.

Kasey smiled and waved to the Cafiteria lady and followed Cassie to the salad bar, "Nice." He said refering to the free stuff. As Cassies friend walked up to them, "Oh...uh." Kasey rubbed the back of his neck his cheeks turning bright red again. "No, we just kind of met this morning." He concluded figuring that would be the best thing to say at the moment. I wish we were. He htought to himself but he wouldn't say that out loud to anyone. "I'm Kasey by the way." He said holding out a hand for Cassies friend to shake.

Cassie kinda frowned a bit at Kasey's response but figured it was the best one, but now Lily was interested. Lily began her flirting. "Wow Kasey it's so nice of you to offer to shake my hand. Such a gentleman and I bet you're smart too.", Lily flirted. She giggled a bit and Cassie frowned. "Hey Lily isn't Jason over there ?", Cassie giggled. Lily's boyfriend was waving her down. Lily stormed off yelling and screaming at Cassie. "Sorry about Lily...she's a weirdo. Jason and David were best friends so that's how I know her. Jason isn't even friends with him anymore.", she spoke softly. She finished her lunch kinda quickly and took out of her bag a green apple."these are my favorites... !",she smiled. She looked up at him and his eyes were staring into hers so vividly. She blushed more. |

"Uh...not really. I have pretty average intellagence." Kasey said to Lilly. As Lilly ran screaming back her boyfriend Kasey couldn't help but feel bad for him, "I would hate to be her boyfrined." He said. It must be terrible to be on a date with her and then get ditched before the movie even started because she found a hotter guy. Wow. He walked with Cassie over to a table and sat down with her. He finished his pizza and looked into Cassies eye's and blushed a bit too. He shook his head a bit after a moment to unlock their gaze, "Uh...do you...uh..have anything going on tomorrow nigh?" He asked. He wanted to take her out on date so that he wouldn't have to worrie about how to answer questions like the one lilly asked earlyer. Plus she was beautiful and he wanted to get to know her more and give her the boyfrined that she deserves.

Cassie smiled at him and watched Lily fight with her boyfriend. "Yeah he gets tired of it really easily. He tells me he loves her but if they're gonna be together she needs to quit flirting", Cassie giggled. She frowned a bit as she lost his gaze but raised up and smiled again. "Tomorrow night ? umm....nothing actually.", she blushed so much. "Omg...he wants to take me out...on a date !?", her heart was beating faster. She blushed even more and couldn't quite sit still. she managed to keep calm under her intense excitement and bit down on her lip a bit. She looked up at him and locked onto his gaze once more. Kasey's gorgeous, and strong, and he's so sweet, and really nice", she thought to herself. She squealed on the inside and her brain was having a party. |

Kasey smiled, "Great. Meet me at the east entrance in the park at 6:45pm." He said. The bell rang shrilly through the speaker next to the clock that hung high on the wall opposit the stage. He picked up his tray and threw it into the trash can, "Ready to go back to the office?" He asked. He held out his hand for her to take. He couldn't wait to take her out on the date and he hoped she would like it. He hoped she would like him.

She smiled back and nodded. She tooke his hand and walked back up to the office. The way there she thought about things they would do and what she would wear, what to say and what NOT to say. she didn't want to embrass herself but she also didn't want to scare him off. She was so nervou. Holding his hand didn't help but she loved having the feeling of his hand in hers. She clung to his arm a bit, pretending to be cold so he would put his arm around her.

He noticed her shiver and her put his arm gently around her shoulder and held her close to his body. He opedned the door for her and let her walk into the office and repeated the smae thing with the door to the nurses office. He sat down with her on the bed again his arm still around her, "You still cold?" He asked wanting to make sure she wasn't getting to hot from their body heat combining.

Cassie's body temperature had rised a few degrees. She began to feel warm and she clung to him, walking side both the doors and sitting down on the bed. She layed down on the bigger bed so he could sit down on the bed with her. She wrapped herself up under the covers and smiled up at him. "I'm much better thank you.", she smiled at him. Her heart began to race again and she looked up in his eyes.

"I'm glad. You looked really cold out their." He said taking his arm off her shoulders. He still sat there though. His eyes were locked with her's again. This eemed to happen quite a bit but Kasey wouldn't portest. He was fine with it. He looked into her sea blue eyes. They were beaututiful just like her. He didn't brake the gaze. He didn't want to. He just wanted to be like this forever. But he did want to go on that date.

Cassie smiled and could barely keep her eyes open due to her sleepiness. She yawned and looked up at him once more. She began to doze off but she took his hand so he couldnt leave her. She held onto it tightly and didn't let go. Before she passed out she spoke. "don't go...', she whispered softly to him. She finally fell asleep. ((OK sounds good to me )) Kasey was looking at himself in the full sized mirror hanging from the bathroom door. He was waring a nice new pair of jeans he had gotten the day before, a plain black T-shirt underneath a sweat shirt vest with a hood covered by a nice navy blue blazer. He looked down at the watch on his wrist. It read 6:30. He walked down the stairs and said good bye to his parrents and whent out the door. He got into his truck and drove down to the park. He lived fairly close to the park but he wouldn't make it to the park in time if he walked. He parked his car and got out locking it and shtting the door. He sliped his car key's into his pocket as he waited at the east entrance gate. He put his hands in his jean pockets to keep them warm. The sun was stiilup but it would start to set in about an hour. He looked at it as it made the sky turn a purpleish color. |

Cassie finally fixed her hair perfectly and she brushed her teeth. Her entire body had healed in a matter of hours. She walked downstairs and her brother smiled at her. "You look great Cass.", he smiled. He grabbed his keys and happily drove her down to the park. She looked at the clock in her brother's brand new Mustang he had bought with his money from being a Marine. She smiled and got a little nervous but she kept her cool. Her brother parked and she got out. She felt as if everything was going in slow motion but her. She stepped out in her sandals, her fave ankle bracelet on, a gorgeous blue top, and her fave short shorts. Her hair was in the slightest wave but it was pinned to the right. Her brother drove off and she smiled to herself, knowing she looked amazing.

Kasey looked down the street trying to see if he could spot Cassie. He didn't and when he did a broad smile apreaed on his lips. He walked the short distance towards her, "You look amazing." He said taking her hand in his. He walked with her into the park and on the paved path, "So I was thinking we could either go to the concert in the north side of the park or we could just walk around and talk. It's up to you." He gently swung their hands inbetween them as they walked slowly through the park. He looked her in the eyes, in her gorgeous eyes. His smile was soft as he looked at her. Sure she was pretty but she also seemed sweet and kind. Aslong as she was sweet and kind he wouldn't care how she looked.
