Sword Master came to a T-intersection. He moved over to one side and crouched low to the ground. He looked down the direction nearest, then moved over to the other side. He checked that direction, then immediately whipped back around. He held his finger to his lips and gripped Moonshine firmly in his other hand. Bow Wielder put an arrow in his bow.

There was noise behind the group, several men talking. Bow Wielder pointed his bow behind them. "We are caught between two patrols." He whispered. "Stay calm, do not attack unless I give the word." Sword Master said.

The thugs from behind turned the corner first, almost not noticing the group. Then they slowed down and raised their shotguns. One was chubby and had painted his face black to match his large leather Jacket. The other was taller and had several scars on his face. He was wearing a large jacket to insulate against the cold down in the catacombs, although the large holes in his jeans likely didn't help. "What the..." the chubby one said in french. The two that turned the other corner were a Chinese man with a machine gun wearing a black jacket, shirt and pants, all of which had a red triangle on them, indicating he was part of some sort of triad gang. The other was a typical bank-robbing thug, ski-mask and all-although the machete wasn't something you would normally use to rob a bank. "Hello." Sword Master said, pointing his sword at the second group.

All four thugs stared dumbfounded for a substantial amount of time before yammering to each other in french. They then realized there were weapons pointing at them and aimed their weapons at the group. "There is no need for trouble, just let us past and we will keep the dragon restrained." Sword Master said in excellent french. "Wow, these are certainly some...interesting cultists." Bow Wielder laughed.

"Rhi, look menacing." Sword Master said in English. "Still, those shotguns certainly look legitimate." Bow Wielder commented.

The cultists all backed away, pointing their weapons at Rhi. "Still, I'm sure that one of you might survive if you took her on, although you would still have to deal with the rest of us, who are not only armed and dangerous but also magically and technologically aided." Sword Master said, resuming his French. Bow Wielder looked over his shoulder at Fleco. "Well, most of us." Bow Wielder giggled to Holly.

The thug with the machete grinned before speaking in slurred french. "Are we going to believe this guy? It's probably just some dude in a costume or something! Besides, they just got a bow and sword, we got guns! Lets teach them a lesson about threatening us!" The other cultists nodded in agreement before loading their weapons.
Bow Wielder pulled back on his bow. "Well, I did warn them." Sword Master grinned. He swung downwards at the machete thug, who clumsily blocked the attack. He then flicked his wrist and sent an ornate dagger into the Chinese criminal's shoulder. The Triad member cried out and fired his gun, although due to the dagger he simply shot the roof. Bow Wielder fired his arrow into the barrel of the chubby man's shotgun. The arrow exploded, ripping the gun apart and knocking the thug over.

The chubby thug pulled out a flick knife and ran at Holly. The Chinese man fired at Rhi with his machine gun. Sword Master sliced at the machete thug's shoulders twice, the machete thug managing to block Moonshine. With the thug occupied with defending his top-half Sword Master easily took him down with a sweeping kick. He simultaneously sliced the barrel of the Chinese thug's machine gun.

The Chinese man let go of the remains of his gun and tried to take off, but Sword Master stopped him-spinning on the ball of his foot and clothes-lining him. He also kicked the machete thug in the head to render him unconscious. Bow Wielder fired cryo-arrows at each thug, freezing their feet together to prevent escape. "Wow, that was barely even a fight, it must have taken twenty seconds!"
