"With my family." Holly said. "Traders generally travel with their families."

"So what kind of things did you trade in?" Bow Wielder asked.

"Anything decent we could get our hands on, really." Holly said. "My mother made a lot of clothes and my father would trade off the animal skins we didn't need."

"So what is your homeland like? What kind of people are there?" Bow Wielder asked, closing his eyes.

"It's beautiful and brimming with things that will either start talking or tear you appart." Holly said. "A lot of the people are at least a bit feral, and most of them are visibly mutants."

"So how exactly did you change from being a trader to a super-powerful elemental with nine other minds in Ebony's gang?" Bow Wielder asked.

(Shall we time skip, because they are just gonna keep talking forever and everyone else is asleep or eating chocolate Fleco?)

After several hours of talking, Bow Wielder and Holly eventually fell asleep as well as the others, still in each others arms and smiling with true happiness.
The van stopped, and one of the Bellators picked up Wharshin and tossed him out of the van, using his head to open the door rather than opening it himself. A second Bellator dragged Ebony along the floor of the van by her tail, throwing her onto the ground. They were in a less than pleasant alleyway in the slum district of Paris. There were no lights as all power seemed to have gone out and in the distance could be heard police sirens and barking dogs.

"On great." Ebony grumbled. "Damn wailing sirens and brainless mutts!" Wharshin slowly forced himself to his feet and willed numbness to settle over his body.

Another van pulled up, identical in every way to the other one. The two vans were now blocking off the entire alleyway, meaning Ebony and Wharshin were trapped. The second van opened up, disgorging the red-suited man in the gas mask and two men in simple silver monk robes. The men were dragging behind them some poor individual on a chained collar like a dog. The man had simply some shredded shorts and a red cloth 'mask', and he was covered head to toe in massive scars and bruises, that looked anything but random. Clearly, whoever had been inflicting the terrifying torture upon the poor soul was very precise, knowing exactly what would hurt worst where and how to ensure his victim never died.

The man reached inside his jacket and pulled out a pistol that was more grenade-launcher proportioned. The massive silver weapon had a large black drum underneath the barrel and the skull of a bird on the end, the top jaw on the top of the barrel and the bottom jaw on the bottom. He pointed the pistol at the man's head. "Are we, or are we not in the right location?" He asked. The prisoner whimpered and nodded his head. "Excellent." He said slowly and menacingly, drawing out each syllable of the word.

"We use you as bait. My compatriot's tactics are far less subtle but far more...considerate, whereas I have found that in order to cleanse the foulness one needs to allow it to grow a little." The man said. The monks yanked on the man's chain.

"Bait for the very thing you were accused of being. Personally, I would do not believe you are Foul in worship or origin, but if they want you then you will serve your purpose all the same. But do not fear, if you do not meet some sort of horribly unimaginable demise in the depths of the catacombs then we will provide you a quick death for your service." The man said, tipping his hat. The Bellators grabbed Ebony and Wharshin, dragging them along them dirt and then tossing them down a manhole opened up by another Bellator.
