The bunker entrance exploded open and the Bellators dropped down, having already checked the bunker's contents using 3D imaging. The one thing that was different was that it was now unoccupied. A slight noise sounded from the roof of the tunnel. Sword Master and Bow Wielder didn't hear it due to how quiet it was. Bow Wielder slowed down as they approached a T intersection. Bow Wielder signaled something to Sword Master. Sword Master nodded and went to check the right tunnel while Bow Wielder went to the left one.

Two dim red lights glowed from the roof, almost goggle-lense shaped. Shade dropped from the roof and landed in front of Ebony. He hit her in the temple to render her unconscious and threw a smoke grenade at the ground. He fired at Rhi's head, his heat vision enabling him to see through the smoke. Sword Master coughed as the smoke enveloped them. Bow Wielder moved his bow back and forth, trying to spot their assailant.

Rhi's helmet took the fire as Akninro armour was designed and kept her head undamaged. She spewed fire at the wall to her left, hoping to silhouette whatever was happening in the smoke and allow the others to attack.

Shade spun towards Sword Master, reloading as he did. He fired at Sword Master and continued to spin. He scooped up Ebony and made a break for it. He saw Rhi's attempt at lighting he tunnel up and threw a second smoke bomb down as he ran to thicken the smoke-screen. Sword Master fell to the ground as the silver blessed bullets slammed into his chest. His unique chain-mail armor protected him from most of the damage. Bow Wielder fired an arrow in the direction the shots came from. The Arrow stuck into the sewer tunnel floor.

Shade slung Ebony over his shoulder and sped up his run. Sword Master got up and pointed Moonshine in the direction of his assailant. Bow Wielder fired a long, bulky arrow into the ground. It's sides opened up and sucked a large amount of the smoke up, enabling them to see. He picked up both his arrows and gave chase to Shade, as did Bow Wielder.

Shade jumped in the air and spun-despite still holding onto Ebony. He threw charges onto the walls of the sewer in a circle around him. He landed facing the way he had been running and took off. He flicked the wrist of his free hand slightly and the charges detonated. Bow Wielder dived into the sewer water to avoid being killed by the blast. Sword Master hid around a corner as flaming pieces of stone flew towards him. The explosion caused a cave in as part of a building fell into the sewer tunnel, putting tonnes of rubble between the three of them and Ebony.

Sword Master swore and threw Moonshine at the ground. He sat down against the sewer wall and put his head in his hands. "He is gone. He likely has a map of all of Paris' sewer tunnels and is heading to whatever location they are using as their base here. We have no way of getting through that and no way of tracking them even if we did. It's hopeless, Ebony is gone." Sword Master said. Bow Wielder climbed out of the sewer water. "Well at least you won't have to shower for the next three weeks." he laughed. Sword Master couldn't help but laugh too, but kept his head in his hands.

She can seriously do quite a bit better than you've seen, and I have a way of locating her as soon as she wakes up." She said, patting his head. "Besides, if all fails and we can't get her back, then Gelucora or Gaina will."

What does scare me is likely about to get her hands on Ebony, and then I doubt even Gelucora can save her." Sword Master said. "Hold on, did you say 'what really scares you is about to get her hands on Ebony? Are you talking about Black Sword? She scares you?!" Bow Wielder asked, more astonished with each question. Sword Master looked up. "A little, but I was actually talking about her Sword."
