That answer caught Gaz's attention, and the girl perked up a bit, though she forced herself to stay casual when the two entered the laboratory. "Oh? Sounds interesting." Well, the project part, not the failing GIR part. She glanced around the lab, resisting the urge to mess around with some of Zim's equipment- If he had been serious about the 'dying' thing, she didn't want to know. "So," the girl hummed, putting two hands behind her back. "Can I see this project of yours, then? What is it?"

"Yes."He said. "Well, you can re-do the past with this machiene."He sighed. He turned it on and soon, it was purpl and white, swirling.

Gaz blinked at the machine, tipping her head to the side. The lavender and white swirls were mesmerizing. "That's... interesting." She found herself staring into it, but quickly shook her head and blinked a couple times. "Don't sound so excited about it. How's it work?" She resisted the urge to stick her hand through it, just to see what happened. I think I'd like to keep all my limbs today.

He went to a voice recording thing. "Dib. Past."He said. "GIR! Pig!"He yelled. GIR came with peanuts. "Take the peanuts instead!"GIR said. He ranoff. Zim sighed. It showed something of Dib's past. He hrew some peanuts in the machiene, soon Dib's past changed.

x-x-x across the town, professor membrane residence x-x-x The raven-haired boy groaned, rolling over in his bed and coughing. Why did he have to get sick every winter? Why was he always left alone when he was sick? And why did he suddenly have a craving for peanuts?
x-x-x back at the lab x-x-x "...That was lame." Gaz sighed, turning around to glance the lab. There had to be something more interesting than a time machine- wasn't that a bit overused? The girl gave Zim a sideways momentary gaze to see if he was watching, and then slipped away to explore on her own. If there was anything cool, she'd find it. Aren't there any neat weapons around here? Gaz turned her head, noticing some odd-looking things on a counter. Hmm. Wonder what they do.

"Eh?" Gaz hadn't been listening, and turned around in time to be knocked back by GIR. She landed on her rear, knocking back the unsteady table of weapons. The guns and machines clattered to the smooth ground, one sending a random laser beam into the air. She bumped the back of her head and hissed angrily, "Stupid robot!" She shoved him away and rubbed the back of her head, turning around to glare at the tipped table. ...Why didn't he support that thing in the first place?
