((Chuah.... XD)) Kevia smiled lightly, and took a step forward, her dragon snarling. Her eyes begn to glow a ghastly green color as she drew her longbow, pulling back the string with toxic magic glowering at her fingertips. "Dance," she said, letting it go and sending magic straight through the middle of one of the spirits. The abomination fell to the ground in agony, screeching in pain before its life force went out. At the word, the dragon also gave a fierce roar, taking to the air and breathing acid down upon the spirits. Mikaela screeched in terror as the other spirit fell, and she said a quick prayer before running backwards, ducking to avoid the dragon's claws as it made his pass.

((Wha? o3o)) Jack's eyes narrowed and he threw open his window, deciding running to the door would take precious time. He climbed up the sill and balanced there a few moments, before leaping to the ground, summersaulting in midair before landing on the ground. He took a few seconds to regain his composure before drawing one of his daggers and holding it between his two fingers. "With pleasure." He snarled in response to her words as he threw it at her, trying to aim for her arm to impair her shooting ability. Alice squeaked as she narrowly dodged the dragon's claws, falling on her back. She struggled to get up quickly enough to flee again. Acorn drew his sword, the metallic 'shing' sound echoing around the Spirit Town. All the playfulness in his eyes were replaced with his ready to battle and defend his friends.

((Nothing~)) Kevia narrowly avoided the flying chain, but it took out a good portion of her long bow, rendering it useless. She hissed in frustration, "Venus!" she snapped, calling the dragon over. It hovered for a moment and Kevia climbed on his back, narrowly avoiding arrows from the abominations. The dragon reared up and then spat acid, once again on the ranks of the spirits, sending a wave of agony through a bunch of them. Mikaela frowned at the dragon. "They are too strong!" she yelled back to her friends, "Even with this many- we have to retreat!"

((Mmhm.. o_o)) Acorn nodded in agreement, sheathing his sword again. He noticed most of the others doing the same. "You retreat, I'll try to distract her." Jack growled. "No." Acorn said, "You come with us, we are not leaving anyone behind." He turned to Kevia, his ears sliding back against his head. "Everyone! Retreat, quickly!" He watched as most of the others ran, following behind them to make sure no one was left behind. Jack lingered behind everyone else, narrowing his eyes at Kevia. "I hope you are proud with yourselves you vile beasts." He snarled as he followed the others.

Kevia laughed maniacally as Venus landed in the center of the battlefield, clearing away the soulless abominations quickly with deadly claws and barbed tail. As they retreated, she slashed one in the head as it passed. Mikaela hissed one last time and bent down so that Acorn might scramble up her shoulder. He was so small; she didn't want anyone to get left behind or trampled in the rush.

Acorn nodded a thanks to Mikaela as he leapt onto her shoulder. "Thank you." He said as a foot from one of his comrades stomped on the ground where he was second before as they blindly ran to get away. He stared at Kevia as she rode on Venus, cursing them silently as he obscurely wished they would be hit by a meteor. -fail-

As soon as they made it to safety, it started raining. "Just our luck," Mikaela groaned, setting Acorn down again. The rain was leaking through the thick canopy of leaves above in fat, clumsy drops, falling inconsistently. "We'll live through it," Jacoba grunted, swinging his chain onto a nearby tree branch and sighing. "Any of you know how to make fire?" Mikaela hissed in anger at the word, "And give away our positions? Idiocy!" "Being dead doesn't mean we don't want comfort," Jacoba barked. He didn't seem to be taking the loss well.

Acorn sighed. "Making a fire would be good, I suppose, but we would have to make sure the fires smoke doesn't get too thick." "I can make fire." Jack muttered, grabbing a few sticks and some rocks. "It may take some time, since the rock is damp." ((It is raining in two of our RPs, and outside my house. ASDFGHJKL. THIS IS WEIRD.))

((I think the rain is fun. :P It's been pouring on and off all week where I live.)) "I'll remain over here then," Mikaela said, her bobbed tail twitching indignantly, "With my hands over my head," she hissed, stalking into the forest moodily, her cloak swishing behind her. The trees weren't as thick here, and the rain fell more heavily, soaking Mikaela through to the bone. It didn't bother her too much at all; she was dead, after all, and it was better then burning alive again. "Hey, where did Alice go?" Jacoba asked belatedly, looking around. The small cat was no where to be seen.

((It is, but not when thunder makes the internet go down. XD' Ohoh, what about Alice was kidnapped to get information and stuff? 8D And maaaybe she somehow gets on the good side of one of the Spirit Ridders, or not. XD)) Jack looked up from the rocks and sticks right when he finally managed to make a spark start to flicker up. "I thought she was following us!" He exclaimed, showing his emotion in his voice, which was rare for him. He took a few breaths as he shielded the slowly growing fire from the wind, "I should have kept a better eye on her.. She couldn't have gotten far, she probably was just separated from us.." Acorn looked over at Mikaela sadly. He would have gone over to her if he didn't fear water so much. Even if he was already dead, he still feared and hated water with a passion.

((True that XD That sounds cool! If Alice plays her cards right, she might have a chance at impressing Kevia.)) "Mikaela will be upset when she learns of it," Jacoba said, "Not that she isn't already upset," he added, "but they were close, were they not?" He shrugged and coughed slightly, spitting up a bit of green fluid that resembled poison. "Ugh. Damn assassins," he said shortly, covering the spot with dirt. "We will find Alice in the morning, hopefully, don't worry."

((Hmm.. Maybe.. *dramatic hand wave* *o*)) Jack nodded and focused again on the flickering flame that was now large enough to keep them all warm. He stared at the dancing flames as he tried to take his mind off of his worry, but his mind still trailed back to Alice. The poor thing. She's only a kit. He quickly realized how stupid the thought was, since Alice had been here as long as he had, but still, she was more of a kit at heart. Alice wailed loudy as she was dragged along by the leg by one of the Spirit Ridders. Even though she couldn't talk, she was still able to make sounds, some very loud sounds at that. She was silenced quickly by the glare from one of the Ridders as she was dragged to the dungeon. "Kevia." One of the higher ranked Ridders said in a commanding tone. "I need you to watch over this.. Monstrosity.. While our leaders decide how to rid of it. You may to what you like to it, just leave a bit of whatever keeps it alive in there so the rest of us can have a bit of fun. He clicked a chain around Alice's neck, avoiding her teeth as she tried to snap at his hands, then handed the end of the chain to Kevia.

Kevia smiled grimly and bent down to the kitten's level. "I'll bet you think you still have hope of living. How cute," she said, tapping the demon's cheek like a little child and then standing. She tugged the chains experimentally, to see how sturdy they were. She smiled, "Yes, sir," Kevia said as the other walked away. She looked disdainfully at the kitten when he left. "I hate it when they take prisoners," she said, mostly to herself as she began to walk down a staircase into the castle. She tugged once more at the chain. "You can walk voluntarily, or I can drag you, your choice." --- Jacoba sighed in relief at the fire's warmth. "I suggest you all get some rest, we've a long day tomorrow. We should get as far from this place as possible, on top of finding Alice." He leaned back against a young, sturdy tree, and shut one eye.

Alice narrowed her eyes at Kevia, her ears sliding behind her head as she plopped herself down on the ground so she would have to drag her, a defiant hiss escaping her lips. Sure, it'd be easier to walk along with her, but making Kevia drag her along was much more satisfying. Plus it meant she didn't have to exert energy to walk, and it wasn't like being dragged hurt her or anything. ~~~ Jack nodded in agreement. "No use being groggy when we need to fight." He murmured as he crossed his arms and let his head fall forward. He still kept his ears alert, however. Just incase. Acorn nodded, suddenly groggy from the whole experience, and curled up on the ground, his back facing the fire. He let out a long sigh as he let his eyes closed, sleep enveloping him quickly.

Kevia laughed shortly and dragged the kitten cruelly down the stoney steps to the dungeon, where she hooked her chain to the wall, right beside a skeleton. ~~~ Jacoba watched the others settled and then fell asleep himself. -fail-

Alice cracked her back and yawned, knowing that most other creatures would feel very sore after going through something like that. Not her though, she was a tough little thing. She stared at the skeleton for a few seconds, poking it and giggling when the skull rolled off, unfazed by the fact that she probably knew whoever it was.

Kevia sighed and went over to a metal desk, flicking a little vile of glowing green liquid and then walking back over to Alice. "I've been doing experiments," she said, bending down to her level with a wicked grin, "To make you demons mortal." ((DUN DUN DUNNNN))

((HOLYSHIZZPICKLES. ... Did I really just say that? ... Yes. Yes I did.)) Alice narrowed her eyes at Kevia, a low growl sounding from her lips. Then, smirking all the while, proceeded to spit in her face, laughing at her ex pression. That's what you get for getting in my face! She thought, never wishing more then at that moment that she knew how to talk.

Kevia reeled back in slight disgust, ut then grimaced. "Next time you do that," she said, sticking the needle in the kitten's arm, "That will hurt." She injected the serum into the creature and stood back, wondering what would happen. Most of her former test subjects died, but this was her best so far, she believed. Still, any number of things could happen. Her most recent subject started to breath fire and then promptly exploded its own head and died.

Alice pulled her arm back, hissing at Kevia. She didn't pull it away fast enough to prevent the serum from going into her arm and her blood stream. She shook her arm, hissing as she felt it go numb. For a few seconds, nothing happened. Then she felt a throbbing pain in her head as the arrow that had been lodged into it ever since she arrived in the Spirit Realm broke in two and slid out, both halfs landing at her sides. The wounds where they were healed and closed up instantly, and any other wounds she had from training before the Light Ridders came heeled also. She coughed a few times, gasping in air and coughing again, not used to having to breath. Since the Spirits only breathed when they felt it necessary, or to gasp or sigh, but they really didn't need to, but you do need to when you're alive.. She coughed a few more times as her brain remembered how to control the involuntary breathing muscles, and her breathing became regular. She glared up at Kevia, hating her now more then she ever had.
