Deomi threw a second box of cookies into her cart, then pushed it toward the produce section, mind fuzzy from lack of sleep. She had gotten home well after midnight, but her parents fighting had her up at about 7:30. SHe was shocked her parents even reemmbered her when her dad gave her the credit card to get groceries. No doubt he would have forgotten if he hadn't needed food himself.

She checked her phone, almost noon, she would need to go to work in a few hours, but her dad was already at his job, and his credit card felt warm in ehr pocket. Maybe i could go to the mall. She thought.

Liam pulled his car over to the curb in front of Nikki's house, cutting the engine. He stepped out of the car into the sunlight and walked toward the front door, knocking politely.((LIAMFAIL))

Nikki had gotten herself all prettied up - though, she tried to look casual as well since this was supposed to be just a lunch date. She also had a sundress on - again, something dressed up, but still casual. She didn't want Liam to think she cared alot about what she looked like.
And finally, after minutes of anxious waiting, the door was knocked on.
Liam was here.
Excitedly, Nikki walked up to the door - regretting not to see how her 'tried to look casual, but curled' hair looked, and opened it. With a shy - yet excited - smile, she said,
"Hey Liam."
Before stepping forward so she could close the door.

The conversation with Deomi last night kept coming up in my mind as I tried to sleep. I tended to sleep during the day, since I usually got bored around my apartment room - and I usually didn't go outside during the day. See as I'd have to talk to people...
Finally, I realized, I couldn't fall asleep today, which was odd.
Reluctantly, I grabbed some cash and went out for a walk to the grocery store. I lived a short walk away from it and needed some time to breath the fresh air. It felt good, seeing as I haven't been outside while the sun was shining, in a long time.
As I came inside, a bell rang, signaling to all the employees and other customers that another customer was inside and ready to buy things that were way over priced then usual. Just as I was about to walk to the snack isle, something stopped me.
My face stared for a moment at the girl I remembered as Deomi. Finally, I found my composure and did a small lazy wave in her direction.

Liam had a crooked grin on his face when Nikki opened the door, "well hello there." He said in a smooth voice, "ready to go?" ((BAHAHAH Liam fails in every RP hes in XD))

Deomi saw somebody wave to her, and it took her a moment to recognize it as Eddie, "hey." she called out, "So you do walk among normal people." she teased.

"Of course."
Nikki said before doing a deep sigh. Smiles like that took her breath away.

For the first time in years, I could feel a crimson color coming to my cheeks.
"I...Eh.. Didn't want to. But, I couldn't put off grocerys any longer."
I said with a sheepish smile - when was the last time I was sheepish? - as I walked towards her.
Why was I even willing to keep this conversation going?

"Alright then, lets go." Liam said, walking around to the passenger side of the car and opening the car door for Nikki.

Deomi laughed, "Shopping is something that has to be done." she said, grabbing a head od lettuce and setting it in her cart.

Nikki did a sheepish smile at Laim.
"Thanks."
Before sliding inside, and feeling even more giddy then she thought she'd feel.

I smiled, "Very true Deomi."
I replied awkwardly. Was it odd that I remembered her name, and said it like it had a nice taste in my mouth?
I wasn't being myself. I had to get away from her.
"I'll..Uh... See you later."
I said quietly before going down a aisle away from Deomi. The  aisle was filled with mostly pickles.
... I hated pickles.

"Ummm. See you later?" Deomi said it as though it was a question, continuing on her way down the aisl, grabbing things as she went along. Why does it seem like hes purposely avoiding conversation? She wondered. She figured she should probably drop the subject, but it was too late, he already piqued her intrest.

((I love how Eddie avoids people, but Liam thrives in their attention XD even though they are both werewolves. They should meet somehow LOL))

Liam shut the door for Nikki, then walked around to the drivers side and got in, starting the car and driving off, "so how long have you lived around here?" he asked.

Nikki could feel her cheeks redenning just by thinking about how this date would go.
Was this even a date?
"I have lived her ever since I was born. What about you?"

Deomi should get hurt some how at the grocery store? Or she leaves the store and something happens to her?

"Just got an apartment downtown after I graduated, I grew up not to far away though." Liam said, kind of making it up as he went along.

"Bay View High School." Liam lied smoothly.

Deomi hummed to herself as she loaded the last of the groceries into her car, slamming the trunk shut. She looked around the parking lot, it seemed really empty, but she shrugged it off and walked around to the drivers door, rummaging in her purse for the keys. Something cold and sharp was preassed to her throat.

"don't move." A gruff voice warned, "don't scream."

Deomi felt her heart begin to race, "what do you want?" she asked.

"Give me the purse, and the keys." THe voice demanded.

"No." she snarled, pushing her elbow back into the mans gut, but before she could get away, he grabbed her wrist and pulled her back, slamming her back up against the car.

"you know, you've got a lot of bite for a pretty little thing." The mugger growled, "I might just take you with me."

As I gave the money to the cashier behind the desk, I chewed on a piece of gum I just bought. It was annoying how fast the flavor went out. I felt like I was chewing my own spit by the time I got out of the grocery store.
I only had one bag of grocery's so I didn't curse my luck of having to walk. Just as I started walking out of the parking lot, I saw something...Suspicious.
Was that Deomi? With a knife to her kneck.
With a snarl I dropped the bag of grocery's and swallowed my spit flavored gum. [Oh ya. He's tough. He swallowed GUM D: ]
I walked over calmly and put a hand on the muggers shoulder. Though I acted calm, my voice had a demanding tone to it.
"Is there a problem here?"
I asked, through my teeth, as I kept going.
"Because from what I know, puting a knife to a women's kneck, slamming her into her car, and asking for her purse and keys isn't the way to hit on a girl."
I said, this time while taking my hand off his shoulder and getting closer to Deomi to see if she was alright.

pression was more shocked than anything to see Eddie. She chewed her lip nervously. What are you thinking? She wondered desperately

"And I don't think that grabbing the man with the knife is a very good idea." The man snarled. ((GAH FAILLLLLLLLLL))

"Like I care about what you think."
I growled, feeling my temper about to not be controled.

"Now get your hands off of her before I have to use my force."
By the end, I knew I was starting to act 'animal like'. I wouldn't be surprised if my canines were flashing him.

The mugger snorted, "why don't you just go home kid, before YOU get hurt too." he threatened.

Can I have just have Liam take her to a pizza place or something? Or did we already say where they were going for lunch?]]

I said, growling once more.
