"I don't need anyone's protection", Rose said dryly, "And if you think you can control me, guess again. Go ahead and believe what you wish if it'll comfort you, but remember this. I am nobody's pet girlfriend who will be showcased like a prized trophy. I do what I want when I want to do it. And right now, I want to go dance with you, so will you please escort me in before I change my mind?" She cracked a smile at the last remark.

Aria went to meet Alpa outside of the field just after the game, a grin o her face and a ribbon in her hand. She'd been voted MVP of her team, and they'd won the game. ((Phail. XD))

"I never said I could control you," he said *censored*uringly, "but I want to make this enjoyable for you. And you are just so... perfect. I don't want anyone to take you away." He said somberly. "Make I have this dance?" He asked, reverting to excort position, his elbow co.cked to the side.

"See, I knew you could do it. No doubt in my mind. Too bad they don't have anything higher up than MVP. You deserve better." He smiled lovingly.

"You implied it", Rose said dryly, taking Asphault's arm, "And yes, of course I will dance with you.~"

"Alpha, that's the best possible thing you can win in a soccer game", Aria laughed, grinning at Alpha, "And are we going to go for ice-cream or not?~ The shop closes in about an hour, we need to hurry."

Asphalt smiled the same smile a husband has when he becomes a father. It was unrealistic of him, with his wily, flirty self, to feel that way about love. To him, love was usually a hobby. But with Rose... it was so much more.

He took her hand, caressing her fingers with his mouth abruptly, then slinging over his bended arm.

"I knew you'd say that," he said flirtatiously.
