Lionpaw didn't raise her golden head, but focused her eyes on Windpaw for a moment. "Windpaw," she said quietly. "How come the other cats are freaked out by my collar?" She hadded hastily, "I mean, does it freak you out too?"

Oakfeather sat up, feeling slightly feverish. He prodded Cougarfeather's side gently. "Hey," he hissed in a hushed voice. "I think it's about time to send out a patrol." He blinked, and stiffled a yawn.

Snakepaw sneezed again and looked at Wishpaw. "Think I have a cold?" he asked, eyes on his paws. Lately he'd been getting a tingly feeling whenever he was near Wishpaw. Or Dreamsplash, for that matter, but he didn't look to far into that.

Wolfstar looked at Moonsong for a moment. He asked quietly, tail still twined with her's, "What's it like to be blind?" He stared over the Clan, whiskers twitching. "Is it like walking it darkness?"

Poppypaw slid out of the apprentice's den, and started to pad towards Dreamsplash's den. She needed something to help her sleep; she wanted to have a nap or something to recover from her drama. "Hey Dreamsplash," she mewed, blinking. "Got anything that'll help me sleep?" Discomfort made her pelt prickle, but she shrugged it off.

Sablepaw purred lightly, flicking her ears. "I'll be a warrior in a moon, says my mentor." she mewled, smiling happily while dozing in the sun next to Feralwind. "I'm excited."

Limefeather flicked her ears, and looked at him slowly. She ignored the sick, but fluttery feeling in her stomach. She lapsed into silence for a minute. "What was Finchtail like?" she asked, blinking slowly. "Was she anything like me?"

Windpaw shrugged, "maybe because they dont have them. It doesnt bother me much, but then again, not much does." he said simply.

Adderstrike laughed, "well, Finchtail was fiesty, and I always admired it. She was a little firecracker." he said with a small grin.

___

Feralwind twitched his ears, "you are that old already?" he mused, well, then shes not That much younger than me. he thought, "you should be exited, I know I was. I hated cleaning the elders den as an apprentice. He purred.

Dreamsplash nodded, "poppy seed." she went over to her herbs and put a few of the seeds on a leaf, "here, eat a few of these, and if you have trouble a little later, i gave you a few extra." she meowed, "but dont eat them all, or you will slip into a coma." she said as an afterthought.

Moonsong nodded, "exactly like that. But, sounds are clearer and smells are sharper. I can hear a cat talking across camp, and smell a dew drop on a leaf. I suppose I'm as skilled as any warrior, even without sight." she meowed.

Wishpaw shrugged, "I hope not. I never did like colds." she purred, "but if you do, its easily cured."

___

Cougarfeatehr stood in the den, "yeah, I should probably do that." she yawned, "want to go with me?" she asked.

Lionpaw nodded, and added quietly, "Should I get rid of it...?" She didn't really want to, but she would do anything to fit in. And to get Windpaw to notice her.

Poppypaw said icily, "A coma; what a pleasant idea." She licked up a few poppy seeds and blinked at Dreamsplash. "Thanks." She stretched out, yawned, and nodded her head.

Sablepaw smirked. "I think being a warrior will be fun; I won't have to make sure someone's with me anymore when I go out of camp." She blinked. "I mean, I don't think so..." Her voice faltered.

____

Limefeather nodded. "Chestnutclaw was a lot like you," she said modestly. She added teasingly, "But he was more attractive." She rolled her eyes, regaining some of her sparkle.

____

Wolfstar nodded his head. "Interesting," he murmured. "Do you think it's the same as you, being blind after an accident, as with Sablepaw, who was blind from birth?" He twitched his whiskers in curiousity.

____

Snakepaw blinked, and stretched. "I'm probably going to spread it around camp," he mumbled. "I wonder if Adderstrike has a cold..?"

Oakfeather smiled, getting to his feet. He shook out his fur. "Depends," he teased. "Is that an offer or an order?"

Windpaw blinked, "I dont know, do you WANT to? DO what makes you happy." he said with a shrug, "who cares what everyone thinks?"

Dreamsplash nodded, "you are welcome." she said, padding out of her den and out of camp in search of burdoc root, she was running low.

___

Feralwind shrugged, "Moonsong goes out on her own, so why cant you?" he reasoned.

___

"More attractive huh?" he purred, "I find that hard to believe." Adderstrike's whiskers twitched in amusement.

___

Moonsong shook her head, "No. I am sure Sablepaw has more talent, she was born without the sense of sight, so never had to get used to life without it. Her heaing and smell would have gotten better when she was a kit." she said simply.

Wishpaw twitched her tail, "I wouldnt worry much about Adderstrike, he never gets sick." she said with a laugh.

___

Cougarfeather though for a moment, "how about both?" she teased.

Limefeather rolled her eyes. "He knew when to keep his mouth shut too," she said, swatting his ears playfully.

Oakfeather stretched and grinned. "Well, it's a yes either way."

Snakepaw snorted, and looked at Wishpaw. "How 'come your not scared of me, but everyone else is?" he blurted. His skin grew hot under his fur. "I mean..." he didn't know what he meant.

Wolfstar nodded. "Being sightless isn't really a disadvantage," he reasoned. "More like something that makes you wiser." He added, "Most cats aren't very wise these days." His thoughts flickered to Chestnutclaw, his old apprentice, Limefeather, Dreamsplash and Snakepaw.

Sablepaw flicked her ears and shrugged. "Because she was a warrior when she lost her sight...? I've always been blind."

Poppypaw nodded, and padded into the apprentice's den. She walked by Windpaw and Lionpaw on purpose, trailing her tail down Windpaw's flank. She pushed her way into the den, and then curled up in her nest, which was conveniently next to his.

Lionpaw nodded, and trailed her eyes after Poppypaw angrily. Her claws scraped against the stone as she unsheathed them. But, unwanting to bring her and Poppypaw's little arguement to Windpaw's attention, she muttered, "Okay then." she sheathed her claws, and rolled over so she wouldn't have to face him.

Windpaw dipped his head to Poppypaw with a friendly smile, then looked at Lionpaw with a confused ex
pression, "so what is that about?" he asked, noticing the look that was on Lionpaw's face when she saw Poppypaw.

Feralwind laughed, "No, Moonsong lost her sight as an apprentice. She had to re-learn all of her training. They will let you on your own. And if they don't, I will claw their ears off." he meowed with a chuckle.

___

Moonsong shrugged again, "but others are. Those who arent, are just naieve." she said, refering to Snakepaw and Dreamsplash, "Look at Adderstrike for instance. He used to be a foolish young tom, but after Finchtail.....disappeared, he knows better. Sometimes wisdom has a price." she said.

___

Wishpaw raised on eyesbrow, "Because you arent scary." she teased, "I believe there is goodness in everyone, you sometimes just have to look deep to find it." she said lightly.

___

Cougarfeather purred, "good. Well lets go then." she meowed, padding out of the warriors den.

___

Adderstrike snorted, "you are lucky I open my mouth at all!" he teased back.

"Nothing," Lionpaw muttered, not looking at him.

___

Limefeather rolled her eyes. "The day you stop talking is the day the world will stop spinning." She batted his ears again. "Silence is golden, you know,"

Snakepaw snorted. "What tale did you get that out of?" he muttered, flicking his ears. He watched Dreamsplash pad out of camp, and stood up abuptly. "Gotta go," he mumbled to Wishpaw, remembering that the older she-cat had wanted to say something to him earlier. "See ya around," He followed after her, sneaking out of camp expertly.

Oakfeather nodded, and followed after her. He lapsed into silence.

Wolfstar bobbed his head. "Look at Chestnutclaw and Vinepaw. If they'd had the knowledge of badger attacks that we all did, they wouldn't be dead." He frowned. "Chestnutclaw was just a young warrior, and Vinepaw was hardly 8 moons old. If they'd lived, I bet they'd be smarter in a badger attack today." He closed his eyes and added, "But not all wisdom has a price."

Sablepaw purred and rasped her tongue over his ear. "Thank you," she murmured, blinking her sightless eyes.

Adderstrike chuckled, "In case you havent noticed, I dont have many freinds." he pointed out with a flick of his tail.

Windpaw rolled his eyes, "you are a terrible liar, but whatever." he meowed.

__

Wishpaw rest her head on her paws with a yawn.

__

Dreamsplash padded forward, hearing Snakepaw leave camp, "Greeting young apprentice." she meowed to him.

__

Cougarfeatehr tilted her head, "are you okay?" she asked.

__

Moonsong shrugged, "of course not all of it does, but the life changing wisdom, like I learned did. I realised never, EVER take anything for granted. Losing my sight really made me realise how close I came to losing my life." she shuddred, "and I thank StarClan every night that I am alive, and have great friends to share my life with." she purred.

Feralwind purred contentedly, "no problem." His heart hammered in his chest and he could feel his face grow warm beneath his thick fur.

Lionpaw rolled over and glared at him. "I am not a bad liar!" she protested.

Limefeather rolled her eyes. "I'm not the most popular cat either," she pointed out, tone untouched with bitterness. 

________

Snakepaw snorted. "Right. What did you want to say to me earlier?" His eyes were fathomless. "I left Wishpaw waiting, so make it quick."

Oakfeather bobbed his head. "Little sleepy, but I'm fine." He grinned.

________

Wolfstar purred and rubbed his head against her shoulder. "Thank Starclan," he murmured back, blinking. He twitched his whiskers and said in a low voice to Moonsong, "I'm on my 6th life, you know. Three more and I'm... y'know. Dead." He blinked again, and said in a calm voice, "Dying is an odd thing...Not something you ever get used to."

Sablepaw flicked her ears. She cocked her head to the side, listening intently for a moment. "Limefeather's awake," she mewed. "She's talking to..." Pause. "Adderstrike." A puzzled ex
pression crossed her face, but she didn't say anything else.

Windpaw chuckled, "if you say so. But there is ABVIOUSLY something goingo n with you and Poppypaw that I dont know about." he taunted.

Adderstrike shrugged, "well, you have a few friends." he meowed, twitching his tailtip.

___

Feralwind tilted his head, "Adderstrike can talk?" he said with a laugh, "ever since what happened with Finchtail, he doesnt do that much." he sighed, his brother had once been a good natured, friendly cat, but now he had few friends.

___

Dreamsplash rolled her eyes, "Do not rush me." she protested before sitting down and wrapping her tail around her paws, "I ahve spoken with Tigerstar. And he asks a big favor of me." she took a deep breath, "we need to ger Wolfstar and Cougarfeather gone, not until you become a warrior first however. You need to 'make friends' with the Clan, and become their favorite. From there, once we have gotten Wolfstar out of the way, I will 'have a vision' about a snake, so you shall become Deputy. Then it wont be long ntil you are leader. But, as you have yet to become a warrior, you will have to prove yourself to become a warrior early, as Firesstar did in the old forest. Do you have any plans on how to become a warrior early? I'm sure Tigerstar has prepared you for fightin." she smiled devilishly.

Cougarfeather nodded, "we will make this quick then." she purred.

Moonsong shuddered, "what does it feel like? To lose a life I mean."

((Hmmmm, I dont wanna kill Wolfstar or Cougarfeather, so we need Tigerstars plot to go haywire >:D))

(( Wolfstar could lose a life or two. xDD But he shouldn't loose ALL his lives. -thinks- ))

Lionpaw rolled her eyes and cuffed him over the ear playfully. "Stupid tom." she muttered, grinning.

Limefeather cocked her head to the side. "Really? Finchtail's gone, my apprentice is a backstabber, my kits hate me, and my brother doesn't count." She smirked. "So that leaves only you."

Sablepaw said thoughtfully, "But sometimes silence is a good thing. Gives you time to think things through. A lot of wise cats are quiet." She flicked her ears.

Wolfstar shrugged, and kneaded the ground with his paws. "Awkward," he said uwith a chuckle. "Awkward indeed. At first, your in the middle of a battle, and then all of a sudden yo ur in a whole different place, surrounded by Starclan cats. And you just sit there and wait...and then your back in the battle." He added, "Painful, of course, but pain's just part of life. And death."

Snakepaw flicked his ears. His voice was washed-out and humorless. "What would you like me to do? I've been an apprentice for about 2 moons. Do you want me to save some stranded kits from a stream? I can hardly swim for myself. Do you want me to fight off a badger? I can hardly catch a mouse." He lashed his tail. "If Tigerstar is so smart, he can think of something." He growled.

Windpaw laughed, "obviously not stupid." he pointed out, flicking her ear with the tip of his tail.

Adderstrike shrugged, "well there's my brother. Feralwind likes everyone." he pointed out.

__

Feralwind sighed, "maybe your right. But do you remember the stories of Leafpool and Squirrelflight? that they could sort of tell what the other was up to? Me and Adderstrike were like that, but now, I can't tell anymore." he muttered, shaking his head.

__

Moonsong nodded, "do you fell..." she searched for the right word, "dead? Like, empty? as if you are not in your own body?" she asked.

__

Dreamsplash hissed, "and you think he isnt? he is trying to think of something you can do, but I think we fake something. Maybe you 'save' me from some foxes or something like that. Maybe we are just going to have to wait, only time will tell. But for now, just keep training under Tigerstar. He can teach you better than Adderstrike." she hissed, padding back into camp and to her den.

Lionpaw swatted his tailtip, and chuckled. "Wanna bet?"

Limefeather rolled her eyes and headbutted his shoulder playfully. "He doesn't count either," she muttered.

Sablepaw sighed. "What a thing to loose..." she murmured. "I've never had any siblings."

Wolfstar paused. "Well, it's kind of like being alive. Except you feel lighter, and any pain you previously had disappeared. And you feel like you could run and fight forever and never get tired." He added, "I guess you feel like your own your own body somewhat. It's hard to describe."

Snakepaw lashed out at a falling leaf with unsheathed claws, slicing it in half. He hissed under his breath, eyes trailing after Dreamsplash. He didn't want to save her from a fox. He didn't want to be a warrior yet.

Trying to control his frustration and annoyance with Dreamsplash and Tigerstar, he sat down and swept his tai laround his paws.

{ o3o OMG.

 What if Snakepaw and Dreamsplash sneak off and start talking again sometime later. [like a week later in the roleplay than now] And while they're out, Snakepaw hears a yowl. They dash through the forest, and behold! There is Wishpaw in trouble! And guess who saves her? Snakepaw :D }

 Therefore; Snakepaw wins over Wishpaw's heart, saves her, and gets his warrior training sped up. Ahaa. xD Sorry. Random :c }

Moonsong chuckled, "maybe I just ask too many questions." she purred.

Feralwind chuckled, "you dont know how lucky you are! Siblings are the single most frustrating things in the world, but you love them anyway." he said with a shrug.

Adderstrike laughed, "Okay, then who does?" he asked.

Windpaw smirked, "definately." he hissed playfully

{ Well.. How're we gonna work this out so Snakepaw doesn't become deputy? xD Because I dun want Wolfstar to go bye-bye </3 Unless we come up with a male kittypet or rogue to fill him in.

Plus, doesn't Snakepaw need an apprentice before he can become a deputy? xD }

Wolfstar nuzzled her gently. "You don't ask too many questions; you just ask the ones I don't have answers too." He paused, sweeping his gaze around the camp. "Where's Snakepaw?"

Limefeather rolled her eyes. "Nobody I'm related to, you're related to, or the leader counts." She smirked.

Sablepaw nodded, "There's two sides to every arguement. I know, as an only kit, that I was awefully lonely. I longed for a sibling to play with." She cuffed the back of his ear. "But I guess I don't need one."

Lionpaw grinned at the slightly smaller tom. She sprung at him, claws sheathed, and came down ontop of his with a light huff. Her paws were on his chest as she sat on his flank.

Adderstrike though for a moment, "Moonsong? Lionpaw? What about Wishpaw?" he teased.

Moonsong twitched her ears, she didnt hear his voice, she tasted the air, "hes not in camp, I can tell you that much." she meowed.

Feralwind purred, "of course! who need brothers when you have friends?" he asked.

__

Windpaw squirmed, "not fair!" he meowed. He batter her belly with his paws and squeezed out from underneath Lionpaw. He stood a few feet away, "never underestimate me just because you are bigger." he growled playfully.

"Moonsong likes everyone," Limefeather said. "Lionpaw's new, so she'll try to get along with everyone, and Wishpaw's got a heart of gold." She grinned.

Wolfstar hissed under his breath. "He's only an apprentice!" he said sourly. "How could he possibly sneak out of camp without being seen?"

Sablepaw bobbed her head and continued to smile. Friends? she thought, disappointment bubbling inside her. That's it? She blinked and turned her head towards him.

Lionpaw rolled her eyes. "Don't underestimate me because I'm fat!" she retorted, leaping at him. She landed beside him, and pushed him with her shoulder hard, but playfully.

Oakfeather scented the air, flicking his ears at Cougarfeather. "Smell that?" he mumbled. "Badger. It was here just yesterday..." He scented the air again, frowning. "Smells like Snakepaw; fresh too."

Adderstike laughed, "so? they all still count." he teased.

Moonsong laughed, "actually? Its not that hard. I used to all the time before I lost my sight. And once I got used to being blind. I ahted being followed everywhere." She thought for a moment, "but the way I used to get out got destroyed by my mentor when she found out." Moonsong admitted with a sigh.

Feralwind yawned, "so how is training going?" he asked in a effort to keep the conversation going.

Windpaw spun around, so he was a facing Lionpaw, "I never said you were fat. But yeah. You are." he teased, reaching out with his right forepaw and knocking her legs out from underneath her.

Cougarfeather inhaled deeply, "I wonder what he's doing out here." she said, ignoring the badger scent.

Lionpaw rolled over, tail lashing. Her front right paw hurt a little, but it wasn't too bad. "I know you did not just call me fat," she hissed playfully, jumping at him. She hit him, knocking him backwards so they tumbled into the apprentice's den.

Poppypaw snarled, slashing at Lionpaw with unsheathed claws. They sunk into her muzzle, blood spraying through the air. She rolled off of Windpaw, looking at Poppypaw with a startled ex
pression as she flattened herself against the ground. Poppypaw looked mad.

Oakfeather shrugged. "Wanna go check it out? I don't smell anyone else out here with him, Which could be good or bad."

Wolfstar flicked his ear. "How'd you get out?" he asked, eyes focused on the main entrance.

Limefeather leaped ontop of him, pinning him underneath him. She looked down at him with bright lime green eyes. "Wanna bet?" she asked, smirking.
