Cougarfeather nudged Oakfeather, "you must be so proud of him." she said, nodding her head to Windrush, who leapt down from Highrock with a purpose. She watched as he and Wishcomet padded to the camp entrance for their silent vigil, "As I am sure Feralwind is proud of Wishcomet." she purred.

Moonsong smiled, her first apprentice was a warrior already, sure, Lionfur had already known how to hunt and fight, but Moonsong was proud of her none the less."

Adderstrike had his tail twined with Finchtail's. he looked over at Snakepaw, "some day soon, that will be you." he said with a grin.((FAIL XD))

Feralwind purred, then looked at Sablepaw, "how long until you become a warrior?" he asked.

Dreamsplash watched the entire ceremony from the entrance of her den. She watched Snakepaw, still grateful to Limefeather for helping her save him. If it wasnt for Limefeather, he would have no doubt died that day. She shuddered at the thought.

Sablepaw flicked her ears. "That should have been me," she muttered under her breath. "I'm less than a moon younger than Windrush and Wishcomet, and yet I'm still an apprentice." She frowned and added on miserably, "It's because I'm blind, isn't it?"

Snakepaw smiled back, his eyes brightening as she smiled at him. He was going to count the days until he was a warrior, and could join her in the warriors den. It wouldn't be in a while, but it was the thought that counts.

Lionfur smiled to herself, trying not to purr, and rubbed her head on his shoulder gently. She'd never trade this moment with anyone.

Oakfeather nodded, standing up and shaking out his fur. He felt older and more weary than he usually did. "I'm gonna miss him too," he said with a smirk. "but I'll be able to sleep a little more now."

Feralwind gave Sablepaw's ear a quick lick, "you ahve to remember, Windpaw got to become a warrior a little early because of the fox incident, and Wishpaw has proved ehrself to be just as skilled as her brother. And Lionfur, she didnt have to train, just learn the warrior code." he said.

Cougarfeather lauged, "oh come on. Windrush wasnt that bad as an apprentice." she said, nudging his shoulder.

((maybe, if one of the warriors that has a "mate"(since none are official XD) one of their kits can become Med. Cat apprentice. She-cats that could have kits possibly are Limefeather(from her brief time with Adderstrike LMFAO) Cougarfeather, Moonsong, or possibly Lionfur soon XD ))

Windpaw smiled then twined his tail with Lionfur's, watching the sun go down in silence.

Lionfur fought back another hearty purr, eyes watching the horizon.

Oakfeather snorted. "He woke me up early so we could train, and then we trained until it was late. I got no sleep." He chuckled. "But it was great."

"It's still not fair," she said stubbornly. "I'm going to be an apprentice forever."

COugarfeatehr chuckled, "yeah. Me and Sablepaw arent as close as you and Winrush were. but I'm still going to miss her." he said, "but thankfully not too soon."

"Thats not true." Feralwind said, "Look at Moonsong, she was almost a warrior when she lost her sight, she had to relearn everything, how to navigate, how to hunt, and how to fight. Don't tell anyone I told you, but do you know how many times she gave up and Cougarfeather had to practically drag her out of the apprentices den by her tail to train? Way to many. But she stuck to it, and now look at her, shes a warrior through and through, and probably a better fighter than I am." he admitted.

Oakfeather cocked his head. "What do you mean, not too soon?" he asked. "She's practically ready."

Sablepaw frowned. "But everyone treats me like I'm only a kit," she complained. "Like I don't know anything because I've got some sort of defect." 

Cougarfeather shrugged, "I know. I just like the feeling of having a purpose." she said, "being a mentor makes me happy. I feel like I'm her mother. And I never want to let that feeling go." she said, shaking her head.

Feralwind smiled, "I don't treat you like a kit." he pointed out, "and most of the other cats think of you as a warrior as well." he said.
