Windpaw debated slashing his claws on Snakepaws face, but he was better than that, "the only one who needs to watch themselves is you." Windpaw hissed, batting him with a large paw, claws sheathed, "next time I won't just sit on you!" He growled, laying down in his own nest and ignoring the bleeding from his muzzle.

"goodbye and good Luck!" Moonsong called before slipping back into camp. She washed her fur and slipped into the warriors den, laying down in her nest and falling asleep immeadeately.

Wolfstar yawned, jaws parting to reveal sharp white teeth. He got to his feet drowsily and wandered outside his den. It was light outside; just after dawn, obviously. He stretched out his silver body, and glanced at the fresh kill pile. It was nearly empty again.

Oakfeather sat up abruptly, panting harshly. Light filtered through the den roof, making his eyes water from the sunlight. He looked around rapidly; just another bad dream. He sighed, and then got up warily and padded outside.

Limefeather was sitting in her den, sorting out her herbs, still going over the loss of her mate, Chestnutclaw. He had been killed in the same accident Wolfstar's apprentice had. And she couldn't even mourn him properly, because she was a medicine cat. She sighed.

Sablepaw was sitting just inside the entrance. Her blind eyes were focused on the sky, her whiskers quivering slightly as she shivered from the chilly breeze.

______

Snakepaw sat just outside of the apprentice's den, cleaning himself off in complete silence. But the fur along his spine bristled, and his muscles were sore from his dream last night. He had met with Tigerstar; and Tigerstar had battled him to see what good he was.

Pleasure flooded through him when he remembered: Tigerstar had said he wanted to meet with him again.

Poppypaw blinked herself away, tail tip twitching rapidly. She stood up, and weaved her way out of the den carefully, trying not to wake any of the others. Her gold eyes sparkled with excitement.

Lion was awoken abruptly but a low snarling sound. She leaped to her feet, bristling and automatically unsheathing her claws. Apparently the fox hadn't abandoned it's den; the angry she-fox was standing in front of her, blocking her exit, ready to attack.

Before Lion did anything else, she yowled loudly, for any cat to possibly hear. She was dead meat, cornered against an angry she-fox.

Moonsong was sharing her breakfast with COugarfeatehr when she heard a familiar voice yowling in the distance, "doyou hear that?" she asked cougarfeather.

"Hear what?" Cougarfeather asked, tilting her head.

"Lion." Moonsong cursed under her breath, "Someones in trouble!" she hissed, Cougarfeather tilted her head.

"well lets go check it out!" Cougarfeather said, but Moonsong had already bolted into the forest.

Moonsong barreled into the side of the Fox, hissing and yowling.

Moonsong focused her hearing on the fox, and slashed her claws along it's muzzle, "Cougarfeather! it's a fox!" She hissed.

Cougarfeather stood opposit her sister and fluffed her fur, "and a rouge!" she spat.

Adderstrike limped into the Medicine Cat's den, "Limefeather? I twisted my paw, can you look at it? I need to take Snakepaw out to train sone." he said.

Windpaw cleaned his fur, then padded from the Apprentice's den. The blood was out of his fur, and the wound didnt hurt, so he yawned and stetched, puching last nigts brawl from his mind.

Wishpaw kept sleeping soundly on the ground.

Dreampaw padded through the forest, sniffing out herbs.((she IS NOT related to Windpaw and Wishpaw, she is older and is almost ready to get her Medicine Cat name))

Feralwind chewed a mouthful of rabbit meat thoughtfully.

Lion yowled as she came down on her leg. It was twisted in the wrong angle. She narrowly avoided the fox's jaws again. "Well don't just stand there!" she snapped at Cougarfeather. "Help!"

Sablepaw twitched her ears, and then stumbled across the clearing towards the fresk kill pile. She picked up a thrush, and started to walk away with it, when a foul taste entered her mouth. She dropped the thrush with a cough, the thrush's wing falling to the side to reveal a wriggling mas s of maggots. She couldn't see them, but she could smell them.

She yelped in surprise, stumbling backwards.

 Limefeather glanced up at her herb sorting with flat green eyes. They'd lost their usual sparkle "Sure," she meowed, padding over to him and signalling for him to sit down. "That's the only reason I'm here, right?" She sniffed at his paw gently.

Snakepaw flicked his ears again, stopping mid-lick to glance at Sablepaw. She was almost in the exact middle of the clearing, and was stumbling away from a maggoty thrush. His whiskers twitched a little with harsh amusement. He got up, and squeezed into the apprentice's den.

He prodded Wishpaw with a gentle paw.

Oakfeather glanced up from grooming himself to look at Sablepaw in surprise. "An omen?" he wondered to himself quietly, twitching his whiskers.

Wishpaw sat up groggily, "Snakepaw? what is it?" she asked with a yawn, eyes still heavy with sleep.

Feralwind chuckled as he paded up to Sablepaw, "well someones going to have a great day." he teased playfully.

____

Adderstrike winced as he tried to set down his paw, "nah. You Must be her for some other reason too. A pretty young she cat like you must have some friends," he said with a wink, "even if you are Medicine Cat."

____

Cougarfeather blinked, "Yeah sorry!" she pounced onto the Fox's back and bit into its neckfur, tasting blood. The Fox yelped in suprise.

"You think it would back down!" Moonsong yowled as she lashed out and raked her claws across its eye with startling accuracy, "Three cats is a little much don't you think?"

Windpaw padded up to Oakfeather, "are we still going to train today?" he asked.

Snakepaw flicked his ears, eyes dark and unreadable in the dim lighting. "It's time to get up," he said simply, golden tail tip twitching. "You're going to sleep in if you don't get up now."

Limefeather didn't find his comment amusing at all. "I'm a Medicine cat for a reason; I don't need friends. My duty is to the well being of the clan; not to make friends and be social." Her tail tip lashed back and forth as she thought. "I don't think you should walk on the for a couple days, Adderstrike. Perhaps you should stay in my den until it's healed."

Sablepaw looked up at him with confused blind eyes. "Pardon?" she asked politely. "I didn't hear you." It was the truth; she'd been thinking too hard about what the maggots could mean. She hadn't even noticed him walk up to her.

Lion slashed her claws across the fox's throat, blood splashing out from the wound and soaking almost her entire body. The fox yelped, and started to retreat away from the cats. It barked something angrily at them.

Oakfeather looked at Windpaw, eyes narrowing only slightly. "What happened to your muzzle?" he asked, mudestly curious. "You didn't have that scratch on it last night." He flicked his tail, rising to his feet slowly.

Poppypaw bounded across the camp, energy flying off of her like sparks. She hopped over to her mentor, ears twitching wildly with excitement. "What are we doing today?" Her eyes were wide and gold. "Huh? Huh? Huh?"

Wolfstar twitched his whiskers in amusement. "Let's go hunting," he said slowly. "I'll teach you how to catch a mouse, okay? And perhaps a vole too, while we're out there."

Wishpaw yawned and rose to her paws, shaking out her fur, "I guess you're right." she meowed.

Adderstrike hissed in annoyance, "well I guess if I have to." he said, "but what about Snakepaw?" he asked.

Feralwind chuckled, "I said, bad luck. You must have grabbed the oldest piece of prey there!" he teased.

Cougarfeatehr leapt away from the fox, letting it retreat, "next time we wont let you go!" she yowled. Then she turned her attention to Lion, "not rouge, state your business here." she meowed.

Windpaw shrugged, "does it matter?" he said, tail twitching in annoyance.

___

Dreampaw padded into camp, mouth full of catmint, its sweet taste filled her mouth. She padded into the Medicine cats den silently and dropping it off in the back of the den, licking her lips and savoring the sweet taste.

Limefeather shrugged. "Why don't you have another warrior take him out on patroll or something?" Her eyes glittered with her own savoury thoughts. "Say, Oakfeather, or Wolfstar?"

Snakepaw shrugged, eyes fathomless. He pricked his ears, whiskers twitching in annoyance. "Somebody just said my name," he muttered.

Sablepaw blinked, and said cautiously, "It didn't smell weird when I picked it up. Oh well."

____

Lion sat down, wincing as her back leg moved uncomfortably. She looked at Cougarfeather. "Looking for food," she explained in a low voice. Nearly a growl.

Oakfeather's eyes flashed. "It matters, because I'm suppost to know what's going on with you at all times. And if you don't tell me, then I'll have to asume you got in trouble.

Adderstrike nodded, I will send him with Wolfstar to train with Poppypaw." he meowed, limping from the den to find his apprentice.

Cougarfeatehr hissed, "this is not your territory!"

Moonsong stepped in front of Cougarfeatehr, "Cougarfeatehr! Can't you tell she is hurt? i can smell the blood." she scolded her sister, "do you need any help?" she offered.

___

Windpaw shrugged, "*censored*ume what you want, there's no trouble." he said, twitching his ears lazily.

___

Feralwind chuckled, "I guess so. Where is Cougarfeatehr?" he asked, looking around for the deputy.

Wishpaw rolled her eyes, "or you are just full of yourself." she teased, padding from the Apprentice's den.
