"Tell that to my father's Clan," he said, frowning. Oakfeather flicked his ears and started to follow the rest of the Clan as they headed back towards camp.

Lionfur smiled, laughing with him. She shook out her fur again. "You don't think my collar looks too bad, right?" she asked, still grinning.

Limefeather sighed, rolling her eyes. "I can't really stop you, but I don't want to hear Dreamsplash chew me out later on for taking you out of camp while you're supposed to be resting."

Moonsong sighed, "I think you seem to forget that youarent the only one without StrikeClan blood. What about Limfeather, Lionfur, or even me?" she pointed out. "Blood doesnt mean a thing, and to those who it does matter to, "they are full of ignorance."

Wishrush shrugged, "it makes you different. I like it." he said with a purr.

__

Feralwind sighed, "I suppose you are right. Good luck to you then." he muttered, slinking back to the medicine cats den.

Dreamsplash jogged over to Wolfstar's side, "you don't think I was out of place do you?" she asked, "or that it would start a war?" her eyes grew wide and fearful. It was hard enough having to lose Birdfall. What if something happened to another one of the warriors? Her fur stood on end wtih the thought.

"You were fine," he purred soothingly, blinking a few times at her. Wolfstar was starting to grow a little more comfortable around Dreamsplash. He flicked his ears absentmindedly and looked back at his brother and Moonsong.

Limefeather sighed, then started back out of camp. She could scent her Clan not far off, but didn't put much thought into it. She only concentrated on following Poppypaw's scent.

Oakfeather only nodded, looking around for Cougarfeather.

"Thanks," Lionfur purred, rubbing against him affectionately. "I like being different." 

Dreamsplash shuddered, but then smiled, "THanks Wolfstar, I was afraid I wasnt doing the right thing." she said with a sigh of relief.

Windrush smiled, "Yeah. I can tell." he said.

Cougarfeather joined Oakfeather with a purr, "hello there." she said.

"Oh, hello there," Oakfeather purred, smiling at her. "I was just looking for your furry butt."

Wolfstar nodded, padding over to Moonsong. He smiled warmly at her, and then flicked his ears. "Want to fill me in?"

Lionfur rolled her eyes, glancing at him. "and what is that supposed to mean?" 

Moonsong flicked her ears, "not before I tell you that your brother is rather irritating. Have you ever noticed that?" She shook her head, "we found your parents, your father is a RushClan tom by the name of Tigerheart, and your mother, a StoneClan she-cat by the name of Meadowsong." she said.

Windrush shrugged, "I dunno." he said.((FAIL))

Cougarfeather rolled her eyes, "Am I that hard to find? Im as round as a hedgehog!" she said.

Finchtail watched as Poppypaw approached and hopped down from her perch. Since leaving the clan, she had grown slightly thinner, but nothing compared to Poppypaw. She shook her head, "now now Poppypaw." she said, "you should really eat something. And groom your fur! If not for me, for Birdfall. What would he say to you starving yourself?"she asked.

"He can't, -and won't- say anything," Poppypaw said icily, not in the mood for any more scolding. "He's dead, in case you haven't noticed."

"Good, good," Wolfstar said, only chuckling slightly at the part where Oakfeather was irritating. "Did they explain everything?" He didn't mind being Half-blood, like his brother. He thought it was interesting, and exciting. It made him unique.

~

"Not yet, you aren't," Oakfeather teased, smiling. "You'll be moving into the nursery in a few weeks then, I take it?"

~

"You don't know much," Lionfur teased with a sigh and a roll of her eyes. She could smell the camp growing near.

~

Finchtail rolled her eyes, "I noticed, but in case you havent noticed," she looked up at the sky, "its a clear night. SO we both know he can see you."

Moonsong nodded, "but your thickheaded brother is acting like hes the only cat here with mixed blood, and the only one who has no ties to StrikeClan. WHen every cat here was old enough to remember when I joined thsi CLan wiht Cougarfeather, except maybe Snakepaw." she jhissed.

Cougarfeatehr nodded, "yeah. But who will take care of the deputies duties whill I'm gone?" she asked.

__

Windrush shrugged, "be that as it may, I'm still awesome." he said.

"But I can't see him," She grumbled. "It doesn't go both ways."

"Yes, well, Oakfeather has always struggled for perfection. Limefeather's rather pigheaded herself. She always believed her parents were warriors who died in battle or something." He flicked his ears. "He's not as worried about other people thoughts as he is of hers."

"I'm sure Wolfstar will have Moonsong do it," Oakfeather resas sured her "Or Adderstrike."

~

"I'm sure you are," Lionfur chuckled.  

"One day, you will see him though." Finchtail said, "and I bet he would prefer it later than sooner."

Moonsong sighed, "well still. I have no ties to any clan. But I still belong here right?" she asked.

__

Cougarfeatehr nodded, "but what about when I'm back? will he want them to just step aside so I can come back?" she shook her head, "thats not really fair."

Windrush nodded confidently. "I am."

"What is the point of this meeting?" Poppypaw snapped, shoving off her words. "I've already heard half this crap from my mother."

"Of course that's fair," Oakfeather said nervously. "He couldn't ask you to just give up your position." He flicked his ears. "We'll just trust his judgement."

"Of course," Wolfstar said confidently. "Everybody belongs here. We'll just have to roll with the punches and wait for all of this so die off."

~

Lionfur only rolled her eyes, and changed the subject. "Have you noticed anything different about Moonsong, Cougarfeather and Sabletail? They all smell different to me now." She frowned. "And, no offence, but I think they're all getting a bit bigger." She didn't mention the fact that she was suspecting her own weight gain.

Finchtail shrugged, "well maybe she knows best." she said, "speak of the devil..." Finchtail said, slipping off into the shadows when she smelled Limefeather.

COugarfeatehr nodded, "I do trust him." she said.

__

Moonsong sighed, "I guess we have no other choice." she muttered.

Windrush shrugged, "I've noticed, I just didnt pay them any mind."((StrikeCLan try SkankClan XD noticed how jsut about all of their females are pregnant XD))

Limefeather prodded Poppypaw silently, saying nothing about Finchtail, and turned around to head back. Poppypaw followed, flicking her ears in silence.

"As do I," Oakfeather said, padding up to the camp entrance.

~

"Yup," Wolfstar said, pricking his ears. "So... Thought about telling anybody yet?" he asked, nodding to her stomach.

~

"Hmm." Lionfur muttered. She flicked her ears unhappily. "Do you think I'm gaining weight?" 

Cougarfeatehr nodded, padding into camp with a yawn. She walked to the warriors den and curled up in her nest wtih a contented sigh.

__

Moonsong flicked her tail, "Yes. And I still say, I don't want to tell them. They can probably figure it out on their own. And if they ask, i wont deny." she said.

__

Windrush tilted his head, "not really." he said.

__

Dreamsplash slunk into her den and dipped her head to Feralwind, who nodded in reply. She went to the back of her den and grabbed him some poppy seeds, setting them down at his feet. The Flame-Gold tabby tom ate them with a grateful flick of his tail, "Good night Feralwind." Dreampslash said, laying down in her nest and resting her head on her paws. Feralwind drifted aslepp, but Dreamsplash stayed awake, looking at the reflection of the moon and stars on her miniature Moonpool.

Adderstrike walked to his tree just outside the camp entrance, but intstead of climbing up to its safe branches like he ususally did, he sat down at the base of it, looking into the forest. His tail was partially wrapped around his paws, but the tip twitched back and forth. His amber eyes seemed gl*censored*y.

__

Wishcomet padded sleepily to the warriors den, laying down in her nest and falling asleep immeadeately.

Wolfstar sighed. "Fine. Can I tell Oakfeather?" he asked hopefully.

Poppypaw slid into the apprentices den, matted fur disappearing into the darkness. She curled up in her nest, unable to sleep.

~

Sabletail poked her head in to sniff at Feralwind, soothed that he was okay, and then padded into the warriors den. She curled up on the ground, setting her head on her paws as she tried to fall asleep. 

~

Snakepaw slunk into the apprentice's den, blinking his tired eyes as he curled up in his nest. He slipped into a deep, dreamless sleep.

~

Oakfeather yawned, and curled up in his nest next to Cougarfeather. He fell asleep almost instantly.

~

Limefeather padded past Adderstrike, pausing for a moment to look at him with a cautious ex
pression. "Adderstrike?" she said nervously, green eyes scanning him over. His name sounded weird coming from her; she hadn't spoken it since Finchtail had returned. 

Moonsong sighed, "if you must." she said.

Adderstrike snapped back to attention, looking at Limefeather out of the corner of his eye, not turning his head. He flicked his tail to acknoledge her pesence, but stayed silent.

__

Limefeather took a few hesitant steps forwards. "Are you okay?" she asked quietly, pricking her ears.

Wolfstar nosed her gently. "Cheer up," he meowed, rasping his tongue over her ear. "You're going to be a mother." He smiled.

Moonsong flicked her ears and rolled her eyes. She padded into Wolfstar's den and lay down, "You've got enough cheer for the both of us." she teased.

Adderstrike nodded his head once, "why wouldnt I be?" he asked, looking forward again, "I'm just watching. I was off guard last time they attacked. But not this time. I almost lost Feralwind once. Hes the only family I've got left, so I will not let down my guard until every last one of those wild dogs is dead." He said, bearing his teeth, his fur standing slightly on end. He twitched his ears as an owl above him snapped a twig as it flew off of its perch.
