Wolfstar curled up with her, purring. "Be happy anyways," he mumbled, setting his head on his paws. "I get tired of being cheerful all the time. Very energy consuming."

"Adderstrike," Limefeather mumbled, stepping forwards again. "The dogs are gone. They aren't coming back for a long, long time." She sat down, making sure there was some space between them so he wouldn't be uncomfortable. "Relax. Feralwind can fend for himself, and he has Sabletail too." She blinked a few times, flicking her ears. "Nobody else is going to die..."

Adderstrike turned his head to look at her, ears pinned back, "but how can you be sure of that? There is no way to know for sure that we will never see the dogs again unless they are dead." He sighed, relaxing completely, "and Feralwind is the only thing I have. I've lost everyone else. Hes not just my brother, hes my best friend." he said.

Moonsong chuckled, "fine. just for you I will be a happy bundle of joy." she mumbled sleepily.

"You don't seem to act like it," Limefeather said gently, sweeping her long tail around her paws. She stared at him for a moment, then looked at the forest. "It hurts him when you shut him out and don't tell him anything, you know." She blinked a few times, considering adding on something else. "And you haven't lost everyone else."

"Good," Wolfstar mumbled, starting to drift asleep. "It's about time..." He sighed quietly, slipping into a pleasant dream. 

{ Morning, right? o3o; }

Wolfstar blinked a few times, cracking open his eyes slightly. He peered silently around his den, nothing to be heard but his own, and Moonsong's, breathing. The area around them was dimly lit from the growing amount of sunlight.

He got up sluggishly, trying to keep his eyelids open. His maw stretched in a wide yawn as he stretched out his body, a few places along his spine cracking. Blinking some more, he glanced at Moonsong, his mate, who still appeared to be asleep.

With one more gaze at her, he left his den and looking around camp. Nobody appeared to be stirring, but it would only be a matter of time. Cougarfeather would have to organize the dawn patrol. Wolfstar sat on high rock, sunlight making his fur sparkle silver and warm up.

Oakfeather yawned, raising his head to look around the warriors den. Nobody seemed to be awake except Sabletail, who was only sitting upright and staring intently outside. She didn't seem to be aware that he was also awake. 

With one more yawn and a shake of his head, he lumbered out of the warriors den lazily, stretching out his muscular body. It pleased him that he could feel his muscles work and flex as he sheathed and unsheathed his claws. Oakfeather shook out his fur, and started towards the fresh kill pile happily.

Sabletail followed the older tom out silently, using her sense of smell to guide her around the other sleeping bodies. Once in the fresh air, she sucked in a lungful with glee, and pricked her ears to listen to the other cats around her. She could hear some cats stirring in the apprentices den, but that's not really what she was hoping for.

She padded across the clearing, poking her head into the Medicine Cat's den to see if Feralwind was awake. She'd visited him everyday faithfully whenever she could. He didn't seem to be awake, but she knew it wouldn't be long before he woke.

Limefeather slipped out of the elder's den, black pelt freshly groomed and shimmering. She'd woken up earlier, and, unable to sleep again, decided she'd might as well do something with her extra time. She had gone hunting close to camp, bringing back only two mice, and then groomed herself until she shined gloriously.

Her keen green eyes scanned the camp. Only Oakfeather, Sabletail, and Wolfstar seemed to be awake at the moment. Without another word or thought, Limefeather's black body disappeared out of the camp. She had no desire to speak to her brother. Or, was he her brother?

Lionfur grunted quietly, rolling over in her sleep like a kit having a bad nightmare. One of her paws ended up pressed against Windrush's nose, and startled that she might have woken him up, hissed a quiet apology and sat upright. Her heart hammered in her chest and she was out of breath, but she couldn't seem to recall what she had been dreaming about.

Snakepaw slipped outside of the apprentice's den, grateful that he could escape the bitter-tasting air inside the den. Poppypaw's lack of grooming was seriously starting to bother him. But he said nothing and only sat there, tail tip twitching as he watched the warrior's den anxiously.

Poppypaw glared out of the apprentice's den, as if daring anybody to enter. Restless, as usual, she rolled over in her nest and clawed at the ground with an ex
pression of utter dullness. She was bored. Bored, and tired, and dirty, and hungry. But she refused to budge, or even take the time to clean herself. 

Adderstrike seemed to once again materialize from nowhere in front of Limefeather, "well goodmorning." he said with a small smirk. for some reason, he was in a great mood. His dark grey coat shone in the morning sun and his amber eyes glittered.

Cougarfeatehr prodded Wishcomet awake with one paw, "Hey, will you go on dawn patrol with me? I know you went to the gathering last night, but I don't have many warriors to spare." she said with an exasperated sigh. Wishcomet only nodded.

"Of course Cougarfeather, want me to go get Oakfeather and maybe Lionfur?" she asked. The deputy nodded and Wishcomet stood up and slipped over to Lionfur and Windrush just as her brother Woke up from his deep sleep. Windrush blinked groggy eyes at both his sister and hist mate, before laying his head back down on his paws. Wishcomet flicked his ear with her tail and smiled at Lionfur, "Mind coming on patrol with me and Cougarfeather?" she asked, "I was going to get Oakfeather too." she said.

Windrush grumbed unintelligibly(sp?) and flopped his head on its side and covering his ears with his paw before letting out a drawn out, "shhhhh."

Feralwind blinked his eyes open groggily and smiled when he saw Sabletail, he stretched out his tense muscle with a grimance of pain as his joints popped painfully, "good morning." he said with a sigh.((thats all I got for now XD im in a bit of a hurry XD))

Dreamsplash padded into camp, jaws full of cobwebs for Feralwind. She expected he would want to leave the den soon and smirked, while the tom was fun to be around and nice, he was a burden when he got antsy, and he had so much energy it was hard for him to sit still all day. she would miss him when he left, but was sure her den would be much more peaceful.

"Hello," Limefeather purred back, flicking her ears at him. Since when was he so pleasant? She didn't ask, but only sat down in front of Adderstrike. "How's the prey running?"

Oakfeather finished off his two mice quickly, whiskers twitching as he saw more cats awaken. He was still tired from the gathering last night, but it wasn't any big issue. He'd live.

~

Lionfur rolled her eyes, poking one claw into Windrush's side. "Get up, you lazy furball," she chuckled, teasing, and looked at Wishcomet. "Sure. I could use the exercise." She yawned, forgetting all about her nightmare, and stretched out. 

~

"You're awake," Sabletail purred pleasantly, flicking her ears. She padded into the den to sit down near him. "How long until you're back in the warrior's den?" she asked, smiling.

~

Adderstrike shrugged, "I saw a few rabbits, but none were as big as they could have been, and last night, there were a lot of mice out, and some owls too, so we should watch out a little bit." he said with a smirk.

__

Windrush groaned and heaved himself to his feet. Wishcomet twitched her whiskers in amusement. Windrush just glared at her.

"Well someone slept well." she teased, flicking his ear again with her tail before padding out of the warriors den with her brother. Windrush blinked in the early morning light and sneezed. Wishcomet checkled and shook her head, padding over to Oakfeather and dipping her head, "Cougarfeather was wondering if you wanted to go on patrol with us." she said.

Feralwind sat of with a grunt of effort and flexed his claws, "Dunno.." he said, before he was cut of by Dreamsplash who padded into the den.

"Only about a week or two longer I suppose," Dreamsplash said, setting down her cobwebs, "Good morning Sabletail, good to see your awake Feralwind." she purred.

__

Moonsong paddedo ut of Wolfstars den and sat down beside him with a smile, "well your upearly," she teased, flicking her ears and scenting the air, to see who was all awake. Her sightless gaze traveled around camp and she picked out where everyone was. She yawned once and subconciously slid slightly closer to Wolfstar.

__

Cougarfeather padded out of the warriors den and over to the freshkill pile. Even though she had eaten late the niht before, she was famished, as she was almost all the time lately. She twitched her whiskers, well, I guess thats one thing to expect when your expecting kits. She thought. She grabbed a mouse and ate it in two quick gulps, and immedeately feeling slightly better. She glanced around camp, almost everyone was awake already.

{ lol. Dreamsplash should notice that Sabletail is expecting kits now... P: -hinthint- }

"Hi Dreamsplash," she purred back, frowning. "A couple more weeks, huh? Wow..." She tried not to look too concerned and worried. "Anyways," she meowed. "You said you wanted to look at my tail one more time?"

"That's good to hear. And yes, we should watch out," Limefeather meowed, awkwardness wafting through the air. This wasn't the conversation either one of them wanted to have. She wanted to apologize. She wanted him to apologize too. But she just sat in silence, saying nothing but "So..."

~

Oakfeather got to his paws, flicking his ears. "Did she?" he chuckled, "Well, I guess I could. Not much else to do around here, except maybe hunt." He smirked, watching as Lionfur joined them, making the patrol nearly complete.

~

Wolfstar purred, nuzzling her affectionately. "you slept well, I see," he meowed, chuckling, as he looked back at his Clan. His fur brushed against his mate's slightly. He smiled. "We'll have to take some warriors out hunting; seems Oakfeather's eaten half the fresh-kill pile again," he laughed.

Dreamsplash nodded her head, in a slight daze, and glanced at Sabletail,I wonder if she knows she's expecting kits at all....she wondered, realising a second too late, that she had said the thought out loud. Blushing furiously under her fur, she stared at teh ground, hoping that Sabletail hadnt heard her, just as Feralwind hadnt.

Adderstrike sat down and wrapped his tail around his paws, looking at his paws and occasionaly glancing up, "so.." he repeated, voice trailing off. THere was a lot he wanted to say, but couldnt find the words to do it. He wasnt good at talking, and hoped that Limefeather wouldnt make him....((XD she should demand an explanation for everthing(finchtail, why he and snakepaw argued so much, etc) just to make him mad XD))

Cogarfeather joined her patrol wiht a smile on her face, "alright, lets go then." she said, "I want to get back to camp before the sun is above the trees, so I have time to take a quick nap before sunhigh." she said with a small laugh before turning and padding out of camp.

Wishcomet chuckled and padded after her.

Moonsong laughed, "well it looks like hes going on patrol now," she noted, as she listned to the patrol leave, "so I guess I could go hunting, I'd like to go with Sabletail actually, just to see how her balance is" she said with a shrug.

Sabletail blinked, heightened sense of hearing picking up Dreamsplash's words. "I-I'm what?" she asked timidly, turning her blind eyes on the medicine cat. "Were you talking about me?" She flicked her ears nervously.

"So," Limefeather said, not smiling as she spoke. "I see you've gotten over Finchtail. And that you and my son aren't arguing as frequently as you used to." Her tail tip moved slowly back and forth.

~

Wolfstar smirked. "I should probably take Poppypaw out hunting. Or at least get her to try and move." He stretched out, rasping a tongue over Moonsong's ear. "I'll see you around." Padding towards the apprentices den, he started to worry a bit more about his apprentice's mental health.

~

Oakfeather got up, he and Lionfur taking the back of the group. He didn't say much, and neither did she. They only padded in silence with the rest of the patrol, thinking their own thoughts. 

Dreamsplash twithed her ears, "no." Lousy Liar.  she thought, "yes, sort of." she muttered, sounding almost as embaras.sed as she felt.

Adderstrike shrugged, completely ignoring her comment about finchtail, they had been growing apart for a while, "well, he antagonmizes me less." then he grinned slightly, "you know, when he's not up to no good, hes actually pretty easy to get along with." he said with a laugh.

__

Moonsong dipped her head to Wolfstar as he left, before rising to her own feet, she slowly made her way to the Medicine cat's den, following Sabletail's scent.

Wishcomet dropped back slightly, falling into step wtih Lionfur, "that was some gathering last night huh?" she said, just trying to spark a conversation, "Dreamsplash really stood up for the clan, I don't think Sunstar(thats the StoneClan leader right? I cant remember XD) will try to get any of our land anytime soon." she said tih a small laugh.
