((*takes board away* we've already got his murder all planned out so itll look like an accident XD but basically, he has a gf, then sweet talked me into falling for him, all the while ALSO going after his best friends ex. gf as well. I just laid down and cried for  like, two hours....

and yes, moo should start))

((well, i jsut talked it out like a civilized human with him this morning, and we are talking again. its kinda odd but im happy. ^-^

Sabletail stretched out her lithe body, padding into the sunlight she still couldn't see. Although her mind was still hazy, she knew what she wanted to do today; go and check out the nursery.

Poppypaw stared at her reflection in the stream, eyes guarded. Birdfall hadn't visited in her dreams. He'd left her after all, just like he'd promised not to. She slashed at the water with outstretched claws, trying not to look too betrayed.

~

Limefeather didn't open her eyes, although she was awake. She was only too aware of Adderstrike laying next to her, and wanted to preserve the moment in her mind forever. She purred gently, enjoying the warmth of  their fur pressed together.

~

Lionfur dropped her rabbit onto the fresh kill pile, shaking out her golden fur. Her collar rattle slightly around her neck, but she ignored it and meowed a gentle hello to Sabletail.

~

Snakepaw trotted out of the apprentice's den, looking around for his mentor. The metal ring around his leg, which he'd found in the river, glinted in the sunlight. He stretched out, beginning to groom himself.

Oakfeather rolled over, surprised when the nest next to him was empty. Still half-asleep, he wondered where Lionfur had gone; just about now would be the time where he rolled onto her and she hissed angrily.

Wolfstar's purr rumbled in his chest as he sat on highrock, looking down on his waking clan. I'll be sad when it's my turn to go, he thought numbly. But Cougarfeather will make a good leader. 

Adderstrike yawned and opened his eyes, "do we really have to wake up already?" he asked lazily, not willing to get up.

Feralwind and COugarfeather padded into camp, both of their jaws full of prey. Cougarfeather set down two mice and a vole, while Feralwind set down a finch and a fat rabbit. Feralwind saw Sabletail and padded over to his mate with a hearty purr, "good morning." he said happily.

__

Windrush padded out of the warriors den, still half asleep. He dragged his paws and his tail dragged on the ground behind him. His golden tabby fur was in dissaray, but he was to sleepy to mind.

__

Moonsong padded up to Poppypaw and sat beside the apprentice, "heelo there young one." she said softly, "and what are you doing out of camp so early in the morning?" she asked, staring sightlessly into the water.

__

Wishcomet padded out of the warriors den not far behind her brother, except she was the exact opposite. there was a pleased smile on her face, her ears were perked up, and her eyes were bright. She stopped by the freshkill pile and grabbed a mouse and lay down in a sunny patch to eat her breakfast.

__

Dreamsplash padded out of the Medicine Cat's den and over to highrock, leaping up and sitting beside Wolfstar, looking at the Clan Leader, she tilted her head to the side, "why do I get the feeling that you are trying to hide something from me?" she asked, "you seem to avoid me a lot, and I know that I've made mistakes in the past, but I've tried to leave them behind. I get the feeling you and Moonsong know something I don't." she said.((I had a random ipiphany while thinking about what to do with Dreamsplash, didnt Oakfeather just find out that he and Wolfstar are brothers, and Dreamsplash is their sister?))

{ Yeah, lol. XD I forgot about that. What's your plan? }

"No," Limefeather responded coolly. "We could just lay here a while." Then, after a moment of silence, she chuckled. "You should probably get up, though. I can't remember the last time you took Snakepaw out."

Sabletail smiled, thinking of how badly she wanted to see Feralwind, even if it was just for a moment. "Hello there," she purred, tongue rasping over his cheek affectionately. "Out hunting this morning?"

__

Oakfeather stumbled out of the warrior's den, fur flatten on one side of his body, where he had laid on it. After grumbling something about getting no sleep, he took a vole from the fresh kill pile and smiled heartily at Cougarfeather. "Mornin'." 

__

"Aren't you handsome this morning," Lionfur laughed, flicking Windrush with the tip of her tail. She nodded towards the fresh kill pile. "I've got a rabbit we could share, if you want." 

__

"Nothing," Poppypaw lied instantly, blinking at her sullen reflection again. She resisted the urge to strike the water again, turning her eyes away.

__

Snakepaw, finch clamped in his jaws, sauntered up to Wishcomet. "Mind if I join you?" he asked, shaking out his fur. He felt good; probably because he knew something nobody else did, and he could share that with Wishcomet. It was something that tied them together. Something dark stirred in the back of his mind, urging him to lead an attack on the two barn cats. He ignored Tigerstar frostily.

Wolfstar, unfazed, only blinked his cool blue eyes at her and said, "Sometimes it is better not to know," and left it at that. He wondered faintly where Moonsong was, but knew better than to worry about her. She may be blind, but she could look after herself just fine.

((hmmm. I dont have one, lets jsut go with it XD))

Dreamsplash flexe dher claws, feeling anger bubble up inside her, but she forced it down, she knew Tigerstar could control her when she got angry, "But don;'t I have a right to know?" she asked, "I AM medicine cat." she said.

"No not at all." Wishcomet purred, smiling at Snakepaw. She wondered if he had told anyone about the barn cats they had met, and hoped he didnt.

__

"If you wanted to sound believable," Moonsong began cooly, "you shouldn't have answered that fast."

__

Windrush yawned, "I'm always handsome." he said with a cocky grin, "A rabbit sounds wonderful." he said, flicking his tail.

__

Cougarfeatehr just smiled in response, but the smile only lasted an instant "The forest was really quiet this morning." she said, voice low, "especially by the StoneClan border. We had to go all the way to the river to find any prey." she said, shaking her head, "I wonder what they are up to."

((This is all builting up for Addterstikes death, he is supposed to die in a battle wtih StoneClan XD))

Feralwind's face grew warm, "yep, me and COugarfeather were up early, and we thought the freshkill pile was low. Do you want any breakfast?" he asked.

__

Adderstrike groaned, "I never take Snakepaw out, he seems to take himself out. And he goes hunting a lot with Wishcomet." he pointed out.

Wolfstar hid his annoyance, but his voice still came out sharp. "Knowing is a privilege, not a right. With knowing comes responsibility, and with that comes trust. Something many lack in you right now, Dreamsplash."

Snakepaw sat down, gnawing on his meal hungrily. He paused for a moment, staring at her as if he was going to say something, and then decided against it and continued eating. The sunlight was warm on his dark fur.

__

"If you wanted to know the truth," Poppypaw said back. "you should have known you weren't going to get it." 

__

Lionfur chuckled, scooping up her rabbit before joining Windrush again. "Alright. Where do you want to sit?" 

__

Oakfeather bit down harder on his vole, eyes stony and hard to read. He said nothing, however, loosening his grip. "I don't know," he replied honestly. "But I don't think I want to; they're never up to any good." 

((Heh. D: I don't want him to die though.))

__

Sabletail nodded. "Sounds perfect; I'm staving." Her stomach grumbled, and for a moment it reminded her that she wasn't eating for just one cat anymore. A slight headache formed, but she said nothing.

__

Limefeather only sighed, closing her eyes once more. "It's good that he's made at least one friend," she mumbled half-heartedly. "Wishcomet is a nice she-cat." 

Dreamplash puffed up her fur, "Why do the trust their leader when he's obviously keeping something from the,?" she stood up and began to wlak away, but first froze in her tracks, "at least I never lied, I told you all the truth." she said, leaping down off highrock, tail lashing as she padded to her den.

Moonsong laughed softly, "true enough." she said, wrapping her tail aroudn her paws. "but even so, you should talk to others. Birdfall's death was an accident. Nobody is to blame, you should at least try to move on." she felt a pang of guilt as she said the words. Birdfall would still be alive if she had gotten to him faster, and deep down, she felt she was to blame for his death.

"Right here." Windrush purred, "right in the middle of camp so everyone can seee how beautiful you are." he said with a wink.

__

Cougarfeather lashed her tail, "well I do want to know. What if they mean harm to Strikelan? It would be better to know and be able to fight them off."

__

Adderstriek grunted in response, "maybe I should make Snakepaw noctournal like me so I don't have to get up when the sun is out." he said.

__

Feralwind smiled, "I'll go grab us some mice." he said, bounding over to the freshkill pile and grabbing two fat mice.
