Limefeather flicked her ears, turning her attention to the watermint. "Questions about what?" she wondered quietly.

Oakfeather dropped his fresh kill too, slightly confused by the pile of maggty fresh-kill in the middle of the clearing.

Lion raised her chin, trying to look brave and confident as she padded into Wolfstar's den. Her mouth watered temptingly as she pas sed the fesh-kill pile.

Wolfstar nodded to her when she walked in, sweeping his icy blue gaze over him. "Explain yourself," he said briskly.

So Lion explained herself.

Snakepaw bristled. "Did you see her collar?" he asked Feralwind in a hiss. "She's a rogue kittypet!" His eyes were wide and green.

Poppypaw and Sablepaw both slipped back into the den, nervous.

Adderstrike twitched his ears, "being a little nosy arent we now?" he teased playfully.

Feralwind shrugged, "so? Its not about where you are from, its about who you are. I've met a few mountain cats who are more brave than most warriors I know, and I've seen a kittypet stand up to a dog." he meowed.

Snakepaw went on, like he hadn't heard him, "I wonder what she did to the two-leg who put it on her? Think she killed anyone?" He dug his claws into the dirt. His eyes flashed with curiousity. "Think she's killed any Clan cats?" His tail flicked across the ground, kicking up little puffs of dirt.

Limefeather chuckled. "Well, I'm just curious. Seeing as I'm going to be stuck with you for a couple days now," She paused, like she was going to say something, but decided against it. She started looking through the Catmint.

Feralwind shrugged, "Well we will just have to wait and see now wont we." he purred,

"Stuck with me?" Adderstrike chuckled, "well, since you insist, I'm sure you remember Finchtail right? The she-cat who disappeared a few moons ago? Well, lets just say she didnt disappear, but she's not dead wither." he hissed. His eyes burned with resentment for Finchtail.

Adderstrike snorted, "uh huh. Sure." he growled.

Dreampaw wrinkled her nose at the freskill pila and padded up to Oakfeather and Windpaw, "I know you just got back, but would you mind carrying this out of camp?" she asked.

Oakfeather frowned a little. He didn't want to, bu the knew better than to ignore the orders of a medicine cat. Even a medicine cat apprentice. "Sure," he meowed, stretching.

Wolfstar padded out of his den, ears twitching only slightly. His blue eyes were distant as he climbed onto the highrock. He needed some alone time.

Lion licked the last of the blood off of her fur, as Wolfstar had ordered, and padded into the clearing. Her paws felt numb and her head felt fuzzy. Wolfstar had promised to make her an apprentice!

Limefeather stiffened, his words cutting her like a thorn. She only shook  her head sadly and said, "I do; but I can't tell you how. It's...complicated. And, well, it endangers everything I live for." Her eyes were dark as she looked at her herb supplied again.

Adderstrike yawned, "Okay. If you say so." He closed his eyes, "so why can't you tell me? Only Feralwind knew that Finchtail was my mate, and I just told you that." he said, eyes still closed.

Moonsong padded up to Lion, "so how did it go?" she asked, purring softly.((shes a very bubbly kitty :3 ))

Windpaw grabbed a thrush and a mouse, and carried them from camp.

Oakfeather picked up as much as he could carry, which was nearly all of it, and started to pad out of the camp with a bitter taste in his mouth. He resisted the urge to drop the maggoty fresh-kill, and kept walking. His eyes watered.

Lion purred happily. "He's going to find me a mentor," she meowed. "And then he going to make me an apprentice." She twitched her ears. "Aren't I a bit old for that though?"

Limefeather shook  her head. "I can't trust you. I can't trust anyone. Nobody knows, nobdy can know... I was stupid and toung then... I guess somethings are just fogotten..." But she knew it was impossible to forget, with her own kits growing up in the Clan. 

(( O3O Limefeather should tell Adderstrike, and he should tell Feralwind, who should tell Wolfstar, who should kick Limefeather out of her position >:D Because Dreampaw is already old enough to take over anyways or whatever. xDDDD -drama- ))

Moonsong laughed, "I had to remain an apprentice untill I was twenty moons old! since I was blind and all. But once I became a warrior. it was well worth it." she meowed.

Adderstrike sighed, "agreed."

Lion smiled. "What do you think my name will be?" she asked, eyes wide and curious. "Do you think it'll start with Lion?"

Limefeather's tail twitched, and she wondered whether to tell him or not. Her eyes were careful, and thoughtful at the same time. "If I tell you," she said slowly. "You mustn't tell anyone, and you have to keep in mind that this was about... eight moons ago."

Moonsong shrugged, "well, hopefully it will be something unique!" She purred.

Adderstrike opened his eyes andraised his head, "who am I going to tell?" he asked.

Limefeather padded over to him, sitting in front of him. She swept her tail around her paws. "I don't know, but still, swear on Starclan you won't tell anybody."

Lion nodded, feeling a slight headache coming on. She was feeling slightly overwhelmed.

Adderstrike sat up, "I swear to StarClan that I will Tell not a soul." he meowed.
