"Thank you, Sabletail, for telling me, but-" She cut him off again. "Don't tell the clan," she said. "I just want you to keep an eye on her; I don't feel safe round her. I-I know she's trying, but, until she gets herself under control..." "I hear you," he said, chuckling. "Thank you. May StarClan light your path!" Sabletail left, feeling relieved. She couldn't hold secrets for long, and always felt better after getting things off of her chest.

Draemsplash didn't acknowledge Wolfstar as she pas.sed. She was still unhappy with him from keeping things from her. She grabber a mouse and ate it in two swift gulps. __ "Then maybe what Dreamsplash needs is someone who understands." Adderstrike said, "Snakepaw had Wishcomet, and I don't know how much she knew, but when she was around, he tried more to be better, Dreamsplash doesnt have that," he looked right into her eyes, "you are the only one in camp who has the same connection to StarClan that she does, and the way I see it, you are the only one who keep her sane." |

"No." Limefeather said automatically. "I refuse. If anyone should be...be... helping her, it should be my son; he knows how to worm your way out of Tigerstar's clutches. I owe her nothing; i was a good mentor to her and she stabbed me in the back first chance she got, Tigerstar or no Tigerstar."

"she didn't. Tigerstar did, you have to remember that," Adderstrike said sharply, "we all know how kind Dreamsplash can be, thats why none of us expected her to bertray you." he said, lashung his tail, "and you should thank her, without her, we could never be together." he added softly.

Limefeather glared at him, green eyes burning. "Thank her?" she snapped. "Thank her? I should thank her?" she stood up, shaking her head. "What we have, Adderstrike, is a mistake. If it weren't for her, I'd still be a medicine cat. I'd have the position I spent my entire life working for. Yes, maybe I wouldn't have fallen in love with you, Adderstrike, but you would have found someone else! Finchtail would have come back, and you would have gotten back together with her!" Her voice had raised to nearly a shout. "I know how Dreamsplash can be better than anyone else. The little cat who'd wake me up every morning? The kitten who wanted to be my apprentice even before I'd asked her? The one who'd bring me honey sometimes out of the blue when she went into the forest to get herbs? You don't think I miss that?" She pushed past him. "Maybe if I catch glimpse of that cat I'll help, but until then I have no intention of giving my aid to a monster." Limefeather stalked out of camp, not sure where she was going. Tears blinded her.

Adderstrike shook his head, she had seen that cat again. When Limefeather had told him the story, hadnt she said that Dreamsplash had the perfect opportinity to kill her, but didnt? What was that? If she was completely lost, wouldnt Dreamsplash had slashed Limefeather's throat without any hesitation? He sighed and padded out of the Elders den, muttering angrily to himself.

Lionfur pressed her nose into Windrush's fur, willing herself to go back to sleep. She was tired, though she'd slept soundly, and didn't want to get up and go back to her duties. Today was the kind of day that you lounge around and do nothing. ~ Wolfstar padded out of his den, sitting at the entrance with a small sigh. Moonsong hadn't joined him in his den last night, a sign that she was still mad at her. He hoped, for her sake, that she wouldn't join Adderstrike and Limefeather today. ~ Oakfeather was enjoying the warmth of his mate laying next to him, eyes shut even though he wasn't asleep. The moment was perfect, unmarred with the sound of the apprentices arguing, or cats speaking in the background. All was quiet. ~ Limefeather finished her finch in silence, grave green eyes scanning the camp in silence. Only Wolfstar was awake, as far as she could see, which both comforted her and disturbed her at the same time. Sleep hadn't visited much last night, and when it did, it was full of nightmares. ~ Sabletail couldn't feel Feralwind laying beside her, which worried her, but she wasn't conscious enough to really register the fact in her mind. She was half-asleep, wondering what the new day would bring. ~ Snakepaw dug his claws into the branch he was perched in, eyes piercing the undergrowth. He was watching for cats who'd come to disturb his thinking, and a rustle in the bushes had put him on red alert. If it were Dreamsplash or Wishcomet he wouldn't mind so much, but any other cat was unwelcome. ~ Poppypaw was up and moving, pelt groomed to its usual silky shimmer, and she was looking more alive than she had in days. As if she'd suddenly realized how many ribs were visible under her fur, she had eaten an entire rabbit, and was now finishing off a mouse with quiet eyes. { Did I forget anyone? o3o }

Dreamsplash was still followring Snakepaw's scent, "Snakepaw?" she asked quietly, "are you here? i need to talk to you." her voice was a whisper, but she knew if he was anywhere close he would hear her. __ Moonsong woke up on a thick tree brach, she was outsdie of camp, but not very far. She opened her eyes and looked aroung groggily, trying to remember where she was and why she was there. She vaguely reembereed her arfument wtih Wolfstar, and remmembered she had to speak with Limefeather. She leapt out of her tree and padded into camp, when she found Limefeather, she dipped her head in greeting to the other shecat, "hey. This may seem kind of sudden, but can I go along with you and Adderstrike to StoneCLan?" she asked. __ Feralwind dipped his head in greeting to Poppypaw, "morning." he said with a yawn, "how are you feeling today?" he asked, giving his chest fur a quick lick. __ Cougerfeatehr yawned and stretched, she raised her head and looked at her belly, which was getting visibly larger, "It's hard to believe that I'm actually going to have kits of my own." she said quietly. __ Windrush mutterered unintelligibly in his sleep, but didnt wake up.((UBERFAIL!! idk what to do with Wishcomet either XD))

Snakepaw forced himself to relax, shoving his disappointment down. He should have known better to expect Wishcomet. "Yes, Dreamsplash?" he said, though not impolitely. "What is it you wanted to speak to me about?" He had no desire to come down from his tree, so he stayed where he was. __ Limefeather glanced sideways at Moonsong carefully. She worded her reply very carefully. "I know we could use your great sense of hearing, Moonsong, but perhaps Adderstrike and I should just go by ourselves." She stood up, eyes glancing towards the camp entrance for a moment. Speaking of Adderstrike, where was he? __ "Better," Poppypaw said, not elaborating. "How're you today, Feralwind?" She shook out her fur, thinking about going to train with Wolfstar. __ "Don't take all the credit," Oakfeather teased, giving her a quick lick on the cheek. "I helped too, you know." He got up lazily, amber eyes glancing at the other cats who seemed to be sleeping peacefully. Gently, then, he added, "Maybe we should go see Adderstrike and Limefeather off. You know, for good luck."

"Do you remember when I walked into your dream?" Dreamsplash began, "And I took you away from Tigerstar's dark forest. Have you seen him since?" she asked. __ Moonsong snorted, "dont sugar-coat it, its because I'm blind isnt it?" she asked bitterly. __ Feralwind just shrugged, "just another day." he said simply, "he looked up at the sky, "but the weathers nice, breezy and cool, considering that is greenleaf," __ Cougarfeather gruntined and flopped her head back down on the ground, "do we have you?" seh asked, whining a lot like a kit. |

"Yes," Snakepaw said gruffly, green eyes searching her's. "Though not in my dreams. He's every where else, and I haven't seen him willingly in a while. Apparently he just likes to nag me." __ Limefeather's voice was sharper than intended, green eyes blazing indignantly. "No, it isn't, Moonsong. My answer would have been the same to every other cat in the Clan. Not everything has to be about you being blind, you know. Maybe I just wanted to go alone with him." She sniffed. "And I thought you knew by now that I wasn't one to suger-coat things." __ Poppypaw smiled. "It is nice. Perhaps I'll go hunting today with Wolfstar. What do you think?" She didn't wait for his answer. "Congratulations on the kits, by the way," she said idly. "I overheard Dreamsplash speaking to you and Sabeltail." __ "Yes, we do," Oakfeather said with a chuckle. "Wouldn't you feel bad if they didn't come back? Not saying that they won't come back, but, there's always that slim chance."

Dreamsplash sat down and looekd at her paws, "I see him everywhere. Even in my reflection. When I look into the water, its like its my body, but its not. I mean, I look stonger, more confident, and evil." she shuddered, "and the eyes, they are never mine. They are Tigerstar's. Even Limefeather has seen it." __ "But going to StoneClan isnt about alone time, its about helping the Clan. And I deserve to help just as much as any other cat here." Moonsong retorted. __ Feralwind blinked in suprise, "thanks, me and Sabletail are very happy." he purred, "well, I think you going out hunting is a great idea, its good to see you actually training again." he said with a warm, friendly smile. __ Cougarfeather sighed, "I understand that, but do we have to so early in the morning?" she asked, "If I have learned anything about adderstrike, its that the odds of him being in camp right now are slim to none." |

Snakepaw watched her for a few minutes, eyes unreadable through the chaotic emotions that swam behind his jade gaze. "He's gained more control over you than I expected," he muttered. Without warning, he dropped out of his branch and landed nimbly on his feet. "You're going to need serious help, Dreamsplash." __ "Really? That's why Wolfstar sauntered up to you yesterday, and asked you to tag along?" she paused, adding on savagly, "Oh yeah, that's right, he didn't. Maybe you should just sit on the sidelines for once, Moonsong, and give some other cat a chance to be the hero for once. You don't have to be included in everything that happens around here." __ "It's good to be back training again," Poppypaw replied, eyes wandering the camp. Wolfstar was sitting by his den, staring past everyone with a blank ex
pression on his face that she'd grown to reckonize as worry. __ "I thought they were supposed to be heading out early, though," Oakfeather said with a shrug. "Well, no matter. If you want to sleep, go right ahead."

"I know that." Dreamsplash snapped, "I've been trying so hard, but it gets herder and harder to fight! I almost killed Limefeather yesterday." she looked at him, blue eyes sad and lost, "He almost made me kill her." __ Moonsong bristled angrily, "In case you havent notice, nobody had been including me in anything. I havent been asked to go on patrol in almost a moon! And nobody asks me if I want to go hunting. I might as well retire to the Elder's den!" She hissed. __ Cougarfeather sighed, "no, I'm awake anyway." she said, getting to her feet and yawning loudly. __ "Maybe you and Wofltsr coudl go hunting with me and Sabletail, I would love to get out of camp for a bit."
