"Where is Sabletail? Is she still sleeping?" Poppypaw wondered aloud, eyes sweeping the camp again, this time in search of a calico she-cat, who didn't seem to be anywhere in sight. "Well, any how, that sounds like a delightful plan, Feralwind."

Dreasplash closed her eyes and shook her head, "I jsut want him gone, we have to figure out a way to get him to leave us both alone."

Moonsong hissed at Limefeather, "Because you're such a good cat. And you are the perfect warrior. And such a great mother." she sneered, "so you can lecture me on what I should and shouldnt do."

Feralwind shurgged, "I don't know where Sabletail is, but you should go talk to Wolfstar about hunting, before Cougarfeather gets up and asks me to go on patrol." he said with a laugh.

Snakepaw nodded in understanding. "I want him gone too, Dreamsplash. I-I don't know what to do, though. I'm no more than a kit."

"And I'm sure you'll be a good mother," Limefeather snarled, tail lashing. "Don't you dare bring Snakepaw and Poppypaw into this, Moonsong. They've been raised perfectly fine." She unsheathed her claws, in case the blinde she-cat tried anything. "I'm not saying I'm a good cat, Moonsong. I'm just saying that you're not making anyone happy anymore, including your mate. You've changed."

Poppypaw nodded, padding over to her mentor. She had to say his name several times before he responded. "Can we go hunting with Sabletail and Feralwind?" she asked, golden eyes searching him carefully.

"O-Of course," Wolfstar mumbled, brushing past her. She followed him back as he went to go join Feralwind. 

"You're right, they were raised fine. Not by you." Moonsong retorted sharply, "how have I changed? I've always been a warrior. I've always been a good warrior. I've never broken the warrior code, never hurt another cat unless I was forced to. And yet you're ancestors let me lose something that is basically necessary fro survival out here."

"Good morning Wolfstar." Feralwind purred, dipping his head respectfully. He twitched hsi ears, the Clan Leader's mind seemed to be somewhere else, "how are you?" he asked.

Dreamsplash snorted, "A kit. I know Tigerstar has given you training. Like he has given me. And that alone makes us two of the most dangerous cats in this forest. He had moves that I've never heard of before. If a kit can, in theory, fight off a dog and live, then yes, you are a kit."

Be thankful every day that you still have your grandpa. Last friday was the 3rd aniversary of my Grandpas death. : so we spent the night in his honor.))

{ I barely have my Grandfather. He can't lift his arms at all after his second surgery, and can hardly get out of bed any more. He cannot eat by himself, get dressed by himself, and can't lift anything over 2 pounds. :/ He's in constant pain, and I hate it. }

{ He told me he couldn't afford to get me a birthday OR christmas present, and then he bought his kids a cat. For like, $200. I was like, WOW. Can't even get me a freaking CARD, but you'll buy them a cat?! } 

"My ancestors did not let you lose anything," Limefeather hissed, fur standing on end. She was thoroughly offended now; to insult Starclan in front of a medicine cat was dangerous. "They do not meddle in the affairs of cats, Moonsong. They do not pick what happens to what cat. They simply send us warnings. Do you blame them for Birdfall's death? Do you blame them for Sabletail being born blind? Do you blame them for every misfortune that has, and will, come our way?"

"Oh. um. I'm okay," Wolfstar replied, shaking out his fur. "How are you feeling this fine morning, Feralwind?" Poppypaw had disappeared into the warrior's den, reappearing with a confused-looking Sabletail.

Snakepaw glared at her, green eyes burning like his mother's do when she's mad. "Being the most dangerous cat in the forest is worthless," he spat. "There is no honor in that ti
tle, Dreamsplash." He started to pace, ears twitching. "How do we get rid of something... that is inside of us?" he wondered aloud.

"Want to know who I blame for Birdfall's death?" Moonsong said, voice cold and cracked, "myself. I could have saved him, had I been just a little faster. Able to navigate a little better. It is my fault. He didnt have to die. Not like that, not so young." her voice faded and she let her head hang low in shame. Maybe Limefeather was right. Maybe she had changed. But if anything, it was guilt that made her bitter.

"I'm actually feeling a lot better than I have been since the dogs fight." Feralwind said, "my muscles don't hurt anymore, and my scratches are a lot better."

Dreamsplash kept her blue gaze unchanged, Filled with defiance. "Take pride in who you are Snakepaw. It is not what rank you are, or how old you are, but what you can do. Without our talents, we are nothing, you should be proud of the fact that you can do what others cant." She debated his last comment, "Maybe I should go to Moonpool and seek answers from StarClan." she said, looking up toward the sky, "I know regular apprentices are not supposed to go there, but I think you should come with me. I think its important."

Moonsong's tail twitched. She knew she was being bitter toward he clanmates. Butshe didnt care. She knew she was making them miserable justbecause she herself was miserable, but she couldnt help it.

feralwind rolled his eyes at Sabletail, "its wll into the morning, you should be getting up anyway." he teased lightly, then he turned his attention back to Wolfstar, "are you sure thats safe?" he glanced at Poppypaw, "its still daylight, what if they decide to let out their..." he hesitated for a moment, "dogs."

Dreamsplash shook her head, "thats where I disagree with you Snakepaw, I think they will welcome you. It wasnt my idea to take you there, last night in my dream, I was with you, and we followed a StarClan tom there. He was a big brown tabby tom, he seemed rather friendly, but he never gave me his name(Chesnutclaw) and he had a kit with him, but I never got a good look at the kit."

Adderstrike padded through camp, stopping when he saw Limefeather, "are you ready to go?" he asked, not doing much else to start a conversation.

"the plan?" Feralwind asked, then he shook his head, "nevermind, if you guys think that the Dogs will be locked up, then I'm game, but just so we are clear, at the first sign of dogs, we are getting out of there."

Dreamsplash nodded, "lets go then, follow me." she said, padding into the underbrush. She didnt have to think much about where she was going, even though she had only gone to Moonpool a few times with Limefeather, she would have been able to get there blind and deaf.

Oakfeather set his and Cougarfeather's mice down so he could speak. "That you're out hunting," he replied with a frown. "And good luck, by the way; May Starclan light your path."

Limefeather purred, "Thank you, Oakfeather. You've always been a good cat."

Snakepaw followed, small body weaving through the forest as if he'd been doing it for years. "Do you even know where we're going?" he asked her, flicking his ears once. His dark pelt blended into the shadows, making him look sinister and mysterious, luminous green eyes standing out harshly against his fur.

Adderstrike dipped his head to Oakfeather, "farewell Oakfeather, we will be back before moonhigh." he said, his nervousness completely hidden.

"Your tail is the least of my worries." Feralwind grumbled, before turning and padding toward the camp entrance, "come on, I'm itching to get out of camp." he made his voice cheerful again and a smile was back on his face.

Dreamsplash's whiskers twitched, "No, I'm leading you aimlessly through the forest, leaving behind StrikeClan territory, because, you know, its so safe." She said sarcastically, shaking her head.

Cougarfeather ate her mouse in two swift gulps, "thanks" she purred to her mate, standing up and yawning loudly while she stretched.

Feralwind froze in his tracks when he heard a scuffling sound, He instinctively dropped into a hunters crouch. He slunk closed and without beign able to see, he pounced, but didn't land on a mouse, vole, or any other prey. Instead he found himself faced wtih something big. And dark silver. For a moment he almost trembled in feer when he lookedi nto fearsome amber eyes, until he recognized them.

"Adderstrike?" he asked confused, "sorry, I didn't know you were hunting too."

Adderstrike just shrugged, then looked over his shoulder at Limefeather, "I was helping her with her hunting skills." he lied smoothly. Why did he have to find us when we were so close to the StoneClan border? he thought angrily.

After walking a while, Dreamsplash's paws felt sore. And she stopped in ehr tracks. They had reached a small stream with stones spattered across its surface, not very big, but still bif enough for a cat, "this is stepping stones, some of them are slippery, but just follow me and you should be fine." she said, expertly leaping from stone to stone, landing only on the dry ones.

Feralwind snorted and looked over at Sabletail, "A very sneaky cat!" He pointed out wiht a smirk.

Adderstrike shook his head, "That was close. A little too close. I hope none of them suspected anyhting." he breathed to Limefeather, before slinking back into the underbrush. He would have to be a little more careful in StoneClan. If Feralwind could find him, whos to say Sunstar couldnt?(I think that was their leader XD) Or Silverstep? The deputy was more likely to be out on patrol, and although Adderstrike knew he was smarter than Silverstep, they were clearly rivaled in size and strength.

Dreamplash looked down at his bloody paw, "Come on, we will grab some herbs to treat that, it isnt far now, and we will have to wait untill moonrise to go in." she said, padding toward the trees in seach or csome cobwebs to wrap it with, it wasnt big enough to really need that much care, but still, she needed something to do.
